Position details
The Role
The Senior Finance Officer – Debt Management works within the Statewide Revenue Management division to undertake debt management functions. The role will lead the development and coordination of debt management procedures and processes, including the management of debt referral.
Key duties:
- Take a lead role in the development of Statewide Revenue debt management and recovery procedures, with a focus on hospital patient reclassifications, write-offs, waivers, payment plans, credits and adjustments.
- Coordinate referrals to Collection Agencies, in accordance with the Whole of Government Contract.
- Assist with the development of Statewide Revenue’s debt management policies and protocols, ensuring they remain current.
- Undertake research and analysis, developing recommendations to contribute to strategies which maximise hospital revenue, particularly in relation to Medicare ineligible and compensable patients.
You will need
- Well-developed knowledge and expertise of Hospital patient billing systems, legislation, policies and procedures relevant to debt management and recovery.
- Ability to compile, analyse and evaluate information and data, to contribute to the development of options which maximise public hospital revenue.
- High level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide mentoring and guidance to team members.

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 30 October 2026.

Salary

Position details
The Team
The Tasmanian Health Service (THS) is seeking experienced Clinical Coders to join its state-wide Clinical Coding team. The team utilises a state-wide PAS, scanned health record along with other state-wide clinical information systems.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate clinical coding experience in a health service with casemix comparable to that of the THS. The THS provides services including trauma, burns, interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, obstetric and specialist neonatal services as well as general medical and surgical services.
Support will be provided by the Clinical Coding Quality and Education Specialists and Clinical Coding Managers team, along with Clinical Coding colleagues across the state.
The THS is pleased to offer flexible working conditions, Salary Packaging and rostered day off (RDO) arrangements (full time).
The Role
- Undertake accurate clinical coding, abstracting relevant clinical information from health records and other clinical information systems. Assign codes within the operational guidelines of the current edition of the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision, Australian Modification (ICD-10-AM), Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI) and Australian Coding Standards (ACS).
- Ensure that clinical coding data is completed and entered into the hospital patient administration system, utilising clinical coding and grouping software, and in accordance with required coding benchmarks.
- Analyse and verify that the required clinical documentation is present for each inpatient episode and where appropriate, follow up/liaise with clinical staff for clarification where insufficient detail is documented.
- Validate the accuracy of Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) allocation, including review of cost weight, length of stay (LOS), and Episode Clinical Complexity Score (ECCS) data for all inpatient episodes coded.
- Participate in clinical coding education and quality improvement activities, including coding audits, data quality audits, research project audits and other coding quality activities as required.

About Our Role
Our Provisional Fellow in Orthopaedic Surgery (Neurospinal) provides effective clinical management of adult elective and emergency spinal patients including spinal cord injured surgical patients, under appropriate supervision, whilst developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical environment. The Provisional Fellow is a key person who works closely with all members of a multi-disciplinary team and deals with matters of an urgent or sensitive nature, whilst exercising discretion, sensitivity and maintaining confidentiality.
This role is suitable only for surgeons in an early stage of their career who wish to build on skills developed during the initial phases of their training.
Decision making and supervision will be at the appropriate level according to the doctor’s skills, knowledge and experience. The medical officer will be expected to adopt a progressively more independent approach to patient management according to their experience, under the guidance of and at the discretion of the appropriate Attending Medical Officer (AMO). All patients managed within the hospitals of the health service are under the direct care of a specialist medical practitioner. All decisions regarding their care are to be clearly communicated with the specialist responsible for that care.

Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Services is a major teaching hospital and tertiary referral centre based on the Randwick Hospitals Campus. We provide excellent healthcare to SESLHD and specialist health and medical services to NSW. We connect with various universities including the University of New South Wales. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Support Services Supervisor and the General Services Manager and working with the broader Support Services team.
ESAs are responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe hospital environment; not only for patients, but also for visitors and colleagues across Monash Health. ESAs deliver high-quality environmental services across clinical and non-clinical areas.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Managing waste removal and disposal procedures safely and responsibly

We currently have an opportunity to work Monday to Friday (Monday - Wednesday 16:00 - 23:00 and Thursday - Friday 17:00 - 23:00). Total hours per fortnight: 30.50 Hours
About You
To ensure your success in this role, you will bring experience in environmental services within a hospital, Aged Care or commercial cleaning setting with strong demonstrated knowledge of infection control and hygiene practices. You are a reliable and punctual team member with great verbal and written communication skills. Whether you’re work independently or as part of a team; you always follow manual handling, safety protocols, and procedural instructions.

About the role
The Consultant provides specialist cardiology services across inpatient, outpatient and community settings, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to optimise patient outcomes. About the Role
Join our team as a Grade 4 Psychologist on a Part Time Ongoing basis (0.2 - 0.3 EFT) at MMC Clayton, working within the broader Developmental and Community Paediatric Medicine team.
This position provides Clinical Leadership of the Psychology and Allied Health team within the Developmental Paediatric Clinic, an interdisciplinary, tertiary-level service dedicated to the assessment of complex neurodevelopmental conditions (including neurological and genetic conditions) in children and young people from birth to 18 years of age.
This is a Grade 4 Psychology position. Grade 4 Psychology positions are highly experienced psychologist who have an area of practice endorsement and are board approved supervisors. They have demonstrated high level knowledge and skills such that they maintain the standards through developing policy, monitoring and improving performance in others and driving education.
The specific focus of the position is to provide evidence-based psychological services to patients with neurodevelopmental differences in the domains of social-communication, cognition, intellectual function, and emotional and behavioural regulation, in addition to difficulties in academic and/or adaptive functioning. These concerns typically arise in the context of suspected neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), and Communication Disorders (CD). Patients also present with co-occurring challenges such as anxiety, sleep disturbances, and feeding difficulties, alongside complex psychosocial factors influencing their overall functioning.
About You
Some technical skills, knowledge and experience required of the successful applicant includes (but not limited to):

About the role
The Research Coordinator, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is responsible for initiating, planning and managing complex research programs, projects and services that inform and support the development, evaluation and promulgation of evidence-based care for mental health distress for infants, children, young people and their families in South Australia.
Key duties of the role
- Develop, implement and monitor outcome measures for CAMHS programs and services in collaboration with consumers, carers and clinicians across South Australia.

- Appropriate degree in Master’s Degree in Psychology or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA and an endorsed area of practice in Clinical.
- Hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work within trauma informed principles, and engage, collaborate and co-work with mental health consumers and carers, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people from diverse background.
- Proven experience utilising a range of databases, tools, technologies and processes to undertake qualitative and quantitative research and analysis and deliver meaningful insights within a health services environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and guiding multi-disciplinary teams and initiating, planning and delivering complex, concurrent projects that achieve agency objectives, including preparing and reporting on budgets and findings within organisational and grant requirements.

The opportunity
As a Scrub/Scout Nurse, you'll be at the heart of the operating theatre, supporting surgical teams to deliver safe, high-quality care to women, babies, children and young people. You'll join a collaborative Perioperative team within South Australia's leading specialist hospital for paediatric and women's health, working across diverse and rewarding surgical specialties while contributing to outstanding patient outcomes.
Key duties of the role
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and their families throughout the surgical journey
- Function effectively as a Scrub/Scout Nurse within a multidisciplinary surgical team, supporting a range of paediatric, neonatal, gynaecological and specialist procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and allied health professionals to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care
- Support and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence through continuous learning, professional development and quality improvement activities
- Mentor and support students, graduates and colleagues, contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment
Skills and experience
- Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration, or eligibility to obtain registration and a practising certificate
- Demonstrated nursing experience in a perioperative or acute healthcare setting; perioperative and/or paediatric experience is required with a minimum of two years Scrub Scout experience

- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical auditing, research and service development, including the implementation of evidence-based practice, clinical protocols, guidelines and change initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Are you a Registered Nurse with at least three years’ post-registration experience, who holds or is eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and has, or is undertaking, a recognised mental health qualification?
- Do you have demonstrated competence in mental health nursing, with the ability to provide person-centred, consumer and family-focused care and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions?

Monash Health is seeking an experienced and passionate First Nations Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to play a key role in improving cancer care experiences and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise, cultural knowledge and leadership to influence care at both the patient and health-system level.
About the Role
The First Nations CNC provides clinical coordination, advocacy and culturally safe navigation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout their cancer journey — from screening and diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, end-of-life and palliative care.
Working across Monash Health sites and in partnership with patients, families, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs), community partners and multidisciplinary teams, you will support patients to access care that meets their cultural, clinical and personal needs.
Working alongside Project Managers and the Weenthunga Health Network, you will also contribute to First Nations governance, service improvement and culturally safe cancer care across the South Metropolitan Integrated Cancer Service (SMICS) catchment.

About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team in Maitland and play a key role in supporting the development of our GradStart RN, EN and Student/Supported Nursing Trainee (SBT) programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role focused on developing our emerging nursing workforce, supporting new graduates and trainees as they build their confidence, knowledge and clinical skills.
You’ll support programs as our workforce and programs continue to grow. You’ll work alongside an experienced team and receive a structured orientation and crossover with the current staff member to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
You’ll also have the support of the broader team to help shape and coordinate the programs, with the opportunity to contribute ideas and help strengthen our approach to education, development and support. Our GradStart program has continued to grow over recent years, and this role will be instrumental in maintaining that growth while ensuring our new graduates and trainees feel supported, connected and confident as they begin their nursing careers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you’ll be responsible for the coordination and ongoing development of our new graduate and trainee programs, providing education, guidance and support throughout their transition into the workforce.
You will:
- Coordinate the GradStart RN, EN and SBT programs.
- Coordinate orientation, clinical rotations and study days.
- Support the planning and delivery of education and professional development activities.
- Monitor the achievement of clinical objectives and support staff to meet learning outcomes.
- Undertake competency assessments and provide constructive feedback to support clinical development.
- Provide education and guidance as new graduates and trainees develop their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Act as a key support and wellbeing point of contact for participants throughout their program.
- Identify learning needs and work with staff to develop their confidence and capability.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and educators to ensure participants receive a positive and consistent learning experience.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the programs as they continue to grow.
- Support a positive learning environment that encourages questions, reflection, confidence and professional growth.
This is more than a coordination role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the experience of nurses at the beginning of their careers and contribute to building a strong, supported nursing workforce for the future.

We’re looking for an experienced nursing professional who is passionate about education, development and supporting nurses as they transition into practice.
