About the Role
Older Adult Mental Health offers specialised treatment, care and support to older individuals with intricate and compounded mental health requirements, typically associated with the aging process. The focus of the position is to provide evidence-based neuropsychological services to consumers who are experiencing disturbances in memory, thinking, and behaviour associated either with their primary mental health disorder (e.g. schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorder, depression, anxiety or Bipolar Affective Disorder) and/or co-existing neurodegenerative condition (such as Alzheimer's Disease, Vascular Dementia and Fronto-temporal dementia). The position also provides support to family and carers for managing behaviours of concern.

To thrive in this role, you must have a proven track record of success. Your expertise encompasses conducting comprehensive psychometric assessments and producing insightful reports as well as providing input into Behaviours of Concern. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in mental health services is second nature to you. Additionally, you actively engage in quality processes for continuous improvement and eagerly participate in research initiatives. Excellent communication skills are essential and your ability to articulate ideas effectively, both in writing and verbally, sets you apart. As an active listener, you skilfully navigate conversations and possess exceptional negotiation and influencing abilities that will be instrumental in your interactions with patients, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
What you will need:

Hold current general registration as a psychologist and endorsement in Neuropsychology through AHPRA

Hold supervisor endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) for Higher Degree programs and Registrar Supervision (primary and secondary) or working towards same

Working with Children’s Check and Police Check

Clinical experience in mental health services

About the Role
The Psychiatric Triage Service (PTS) provides a 24‑hour, seven‑day telephone assessment and response service, supporting access to Monash Health Mental Health Services.
This is an onsite role, operating from Monash Health's campuses.
The service:
- Supports adult consumers aged 18–64 years
- Provides after‑hours support for consumers under 18 and 65 years and older
As a PTS Clinician, you will:
- Undertake comprehensive preliminary mental health assessments
- Determine the presence, urgency, and nature of mental health concerns
- Coordinate timely responses by:
- Referring internally to specialist mental health services
- Linking consumers with external agencies
- Providing clinical advice, support, and risk management guidance

About You
You are an experienced mental health clinician with strong clinical expertise, sound judgement, and the ability to work confidently in complex situations. You communicate effectively, build strong professional relationships, and contribute positively to team culture.

- A strong working knowledge of mental health legislation, policy, and evidence‑based practice
- Excellent organisational and decision‑making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive, multidisciplinary team
Qualifications & Registration
To be successful, you will have:
- A relevant qualification (as outlined in the position description)
- A demonstrated commitment to working in mental health, including:
- Experience or understanding of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Forensic Mental Health (highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience in an inpatient unit or similar acute mental health setting
- Current AHPRA registration (where applicable)

As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse within our Rehabilitation and Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Unit, Ward H, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality care and support to older adults and rehabilitation patients. Working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with nurses, allied health professionals, and medical staff to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care.

About Us
Ward H at Casey Hospital is a 30-bed Rehabilitation and Geriatric Medicine ward with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Our dedicated multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with allied health and medical professionals to support patients in achieving their goals and transitioning to the most appropriate care setting, whether that is returning home, entering residential aged care, or moving to supported disability accommodation.
Common patient admissions include but not limited to:
- Stroke
- Fractures post falls
- Functional decline
- Reconditioning post CA diagnosis / treatment
- Rehabilitation post-surgery e.g. craniotomy, hip and knee replacements, abdominal resections, amputations
- Delirium
- Rehabilitation post procedures: Tracheostomy/ Laryngectomy

About the Department / Program
Monash Health Pathology is an integral part of Monash Health. It is the largest public provider of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional laboratories located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospitals. There is currently 18 collection locations based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services.
You will be joining Monash Health at an exciting time as we work in partnership with Alfred Health to be the premier shared public pathology service in Victoria. As a member of the pathology team you will be helping shape the direction of the partnership.
About the Role
Join our team as a Grade 1 Medical Scientist (RX1-RX7) on a full time ongoing basis, to work at Monash Medical Centre based at Clayton. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Anatomical Principal Scientist and working with the broader histology team.
We have a fixed term maternity leave position 76hrs F/N + ADO running until October 2027.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in staff rotations, overtime and on call & out of hour rosters as directed. Operational hours of the laboratory are 05:00 - 21:00 Monday to Friday and 06:00 - 14:30 Saturday. You must be able to perform tests provided by the unit without supervision (following suitable training) which include:

Perform and assist with the specimen cut up;

Embed and section of biopsy material for diagnostic and necropsy specimens;

Prepare frozen sections for urgent diagnosis;

Perform routine, special staining and immunohistochemistry techniques using prescribed methodologies and appropriate control procedures;

Assist at renal biopsy procedure to insure appropriate tissue sampling;

Assist with a range of mortuary duties;

Other duties as directed.

The iIMPROVE Program is dedicated to improving emergency care through evidence-based, sustainable change. Our multidisciplinary team brings together consumers, clinicians, researchers, implementation scientists, health economists, biostatisticians, knowledge translation experts, policymakers, and national partners. Unlike many improvement initiatives that rely primarily on education and local guidelines, iIMPROVE focuses on implementation science to achieve lasting, system-wide change. We use evidence, data, and continuous co-design with consumers and clinicians to develop practical solutions that can be successfully embedded into everyday healthcare. By building implementation science capability and working closely with health services and policymakers, the iIMPROVE Program is driving sustainable improvements in emergency care and helping shape practice and policy across Australia.
About the Role
Join our team as a Clinical Research Coordinator on a 0.6FTE, fixed term (ending Dec 2028) to work at MCHRI based at Clayton.The Clinical Research Coordinator will provide research and administrative support to the iIMPROVE group at Monash Emergency Research Collaborative (MERC), working closely with senior research staff to support the delivery of clinical research projects within the implementation science framework. The role will contribute to study coordination, data management, ethics and governance activities, and communication with internal and external collaborators. The appointee will work with support, guidance and direction from the Senior Project Manager, iIMPROVE and the iIMPROVE team. This is an opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and an interest in clinical and/or implementation science research to contribute to impactful research outcomes.
- Provide administrative support across clinical research activities, including ethics and governance submissions, study documentation and project coordination
- Support participant recruitment, research visits, study monitoring and data verification activities
- Assist investigators in day-to-day conduct of multiple concurrent studies.
- Preparation and maintenance of study documents including maintaining source documents, Investigator Site Files and Trial Master Files.

About the Role
Join our team as a Patient Services Assistant on a part time ongoing basis to work at Moorabbin Hospital.In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the General Services Supervisor andworking with the broader Support Services team.
PSAs pay a vital role in supporting the clinical team in the delivery of patient care. They do a range of tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning, patient transfers, and equipment handling. Working as part of a team and on their own, PSAs are responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and patient support across the hospital.

About the Role
Join our team as a Food Services Assistant on a part time, ongoing to work at Kingston. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Support Services Manager and working with the broader Support Services team.
FSAs play a vital role in providing high-quality meal services to patients and supporting overall patient nutrition and food safety. FSAs are responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals, cleaning of food service areas, all whilst ensuring patient’s dietary needs are met accurately and efficiently. FSAs contribute to patient care by ensuring meals are delivered on time, safely, accurately and with respect.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Delivering and collecting meal trays and Burlodge trolleys to and from service areas
- Regenerating and preparing meals in line with production and clinical needs, including special functions
- Cleaning and sanitising food trays, food preparation areas, and kitchen equipment
- Operating dishwashers and other food service equipment safely and efficiently
- Restocking pantries and trolleys; whilst maintaining food stock levels as required
- Completing all food safety and cleaning documentation accurately and in a timely manner
We currently have the following opportunity available working Monday to Friday at CPK1 and CPK3 from 6:30AM – 2:30PM.
About You

About the Department & Program
Infant, Child, and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ELMHS & Youth) provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people and their families. We work with the 0-25 age group in the Southern Region, providing a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services.
We work with families to address a number of complex issues they may be experiencing, including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neuro developmental presentations and psychosis.
We also work collaboratively with families, schools and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework.
About the Role
Join our team as a Mental Health Clinician for the CORE Adolescent Team on a full-time or part-time ongoing basis, within our Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) program at Monash Health. These positions sit across Berwick, Frankston and Pakenham. Please highlight what EFT you are interested in and which site when applying.
These positions are open to professionals from the following disciplines: Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology, and Registered Psychiatric Nursing (RPN).
The CORE Adolescent Team delivers specialist mental health assessment and treatment to young people aged 12–17 years who experience severe and complex mental health challenges that cannot be managed by tier 1–4 services alone. At times, you may also provide support to the under 12s stream, ensuring continuity of care across the service.
While this role is predominantly clinic-based, you may also contribute to occasional outreach work, engaging with young people and families who are more difficult to reach. A key part of the role also involves shared-care collaboration with professionals from a wide range of agencies across the catchment, ensuring wraparound, holistic support for young people and their families.

About the Role
The Accounts Payable Officer team member is responsible for ensuring all invoices, including supplier and internal department claims, are processed accurately in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring payments are made in a timely manner. About the Role

Child and Youth Mental Health Services | Tasmanian Department of Health
The Role
Undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs for our new programs in either Youth Mental Health, Youth Forensic Mental Health and/or Out of Home Care.
Working alongside innovative managers, clinical leads and consultant psychiatrists to develop the new mental health services in Tasmania.
Working with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
Applicants who have undertaken training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) would be highly regarded.
You will:
- Undertake the delivery of quality care to clients of Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
- Provide a specialist assessment and treatment service to clients of CYMHS and their families or carers.
- Promote community awareness in relation to mental health and acts as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with mental health needs.

Multiple Permanent, full time and part time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary

The Mental Health Short Stay Unit is a 6-bed ward at the Royal Hobart Hospital. This role is to work in the Mental Health Short Stay Unit and Royal Hobart Hospital Emergency Department as a Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist.
The Role
Join the Mental Health Short Stay Unit (MHSSU) and play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred mental health care within a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment. In this Clinical Nurse Specialist role, you are required to conduct primary mental health and risk assessments of patients requiring specialized mental health assessment presenting to Emergency Department.
In this advanced clinical role, you will contribute to improving outcomes for people presenting in crisis by conducting comprehensive assessments, supporting clinical decision-making, facilitating access to appropriate services, and ensuring safe and effective transitions of care.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health Short Stay Unit (MHSSU):
- Works in conjunction with unit staff, the MHSSU, the Royal Hobart Hospital Emergency Department (ED), Alcohol and Drug Services and Community Mental Health Services to deliver improved outcomes for MHSSU clients and individuals presenting to the ED with mental illness and requiring specialist assessment.
- Is a clinical expert who acts as a specialist resource for nursing, medical, and allied health staff involved in the management of patients with mental health concerns presenting to Emergency Department including those with concurrent alcohol or drug use issues.
You will need
- Strong clinical experience and expertise in mental health nursing, particularly within acute or crisis care settings.
- The ability to undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and contribute to care planning and clinical decision-making.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Confidence in providing clinical advice, education and support to colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Sound judgement, problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- An understanding of contemporary mental health care, risk management principles and relevant legislation.
- The ability to work with a high degree of autonomy while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- A passion for improving outcomes for people experiencing mental illness, addiction-related concerns and other complex presentations.

The Role
Undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs for our new programs in either Youth Mental Health, Youth Forensic Mental Health and/or Out of Home Care.
Working alongside innovative managers, clinical leads and consultant psychiatrists to develop the new mental health services in Tasmania.
Working with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
Applicants who have undertaken training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) would be highly regarded.
You will:
- Undertake the delivery of quality care to clients of Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
- Provide a specialist assessment and treatment service to clients of CYMHS and their families or carers.
