About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with the ability to work between Emergency, Acute Ward and Residential Aged Care units. You will have current Triage and ALS qualifications. Demonstrated Emergency experience is required.
The successful applicant will have excellent clinical skills, ability to work in high pressure situations, have good leadership skills, good communication skills, work collaboratively, be able to problem solve and have the ability to use technology.
You will work closely and be supported by the Nurse Manager and Health Service Manager along with educators and other senior staff members.
We are a small facility with a diverse range of skilled staff including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistant in nursing along with administration and support services.
This position will be on a 7 day rotating roster.

About the Role
Express interest as a Nursing Clinical Coach in a fixed term - part time basis 0.52 FTE until 5 September 2027 (Maternity Leave cover), to work at Dandenong Hospital.
The role of the Clinical Coach/Clinical Support Nurse (CC/CSN) entails offering clinical guidance and support to nurses throughout Monash Health. This position is supplementary and does not involve managing a clinical caseload. The (CC/CSN) ensures that nurses at Monash Health deliver safe, effective, and person-centered care by:

Advocating for evidence-based nursing practices across various settings.

Assisting in ongoing professional development.

Providing clinical supervision.

Supporting formal educational initiatives.

Encouraging nursing and midwifery research.

Collaborating with patients/clients and multidisciplinary teams to achieve health goals and outcomes.

About Us
Scanning Centre is based at Kingston. We had amalgamated Dandenong, Clayton and Casey Medical Records department in 2019.
Our Team processes documents from Sandringham, Victorian Heart Hospital, Clayton, Dandenong, Casey, all Mental Health/Community sites and SECASA. Our Team operates with over 60 EFT, we have 5 Team Leaders overseeing their own direct reports under different portfolios and 2 Trainer and Auditors. We work alongside Clinical Support Services that manages digital uploads. We collect, prep and scan medical records 7 days a week, 365 days in a year. We prep and scan over 400,000 pages a month whilst ensuring quality standards against the PROV guidelines are below 1.2% error rate. Our department oversees various operations such as Double UR's, Research, Screening OP referrals, Release of Information (after hours) and electronic uploads.
This department has highly skilled staff who are able to process, audit, uphold data integrity with high standards.
About the Role
This is a Full Time Ongoing role, working 80 hours a fortnight (ADO included and is optional). The role is based at our Monah Health Kingston Centre, in Heatherton, however you may be required to work at different sites such as Clayton and Dandenong.
Responsibilities
As a part of large team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Prepping/Sorting and assembling of sensitive, medical records documents for scanning within departmental KPI's
- Follow business rules and policies and procedures

About the Department
Aviary Ward (4B) is a 28-bed specialist paediatric ward at Monash Children’s Hospital, providing care across Neurology, Adolescent Medicine and Paediatric Rehabilitation. The ward offers nurses the opportunity to work across both acute and sub-acute care, supporting children and young people with complex neurological conditions, adolescent health needs and rehabilitation goals. Working within a multidisciplinary team, nurses have the opportunity to develop a broad range of clinical skills while supporting patients and families through recovery, rehabilitation and improved health outcomes.
About the Role
Join our team as a Registered Nurse on a part time, fixed-term basis to work at Monash Children's Hospital, based in Clayton. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of Mandie Lehmann, Nurse Manager and working with the broader 4B Aviary nursing team.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, including:
- Conducting assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and in partnership with patients, their families and carers
- Monitoring patients for critical changes, initiating appropriate emergency procedures, and escalating concerns to the Manager as needed
- Supporting timely discharge planning to facilitate a safe and effective transition from hospital to home

Casey SCN is a 20-bed Level 4 neonatal unit providing high-dependency care for newborns requiring specialised support, including CPAP and high-flow respiratory therapy.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Grade 3 Social Worker to join Unit 2, Youth Mental Health at Dandenong Hospital in a full-time, ongoing position (1.0 EFT), working Monday to Friday.
Working with young people aged 18–25 experiencing acute and complex mental health concerns, you will provide specialist Social Work assessment, intervention, advocacy and discharge planning. Your work will consider not only a young person's mental health, but the broader social factors that influence their recovery – including family and relationships, housing, safety, financial circumstances, disability, substance use and connection to community supports.
As a senior clinician within the team, you will work autonomously while collaborating closely with young people, families and carers, the multidisciplinary team and community services to support recovery-focused care and safe, sustainable transitions back into the community.
In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and specialist Social Work intervention for young people with complex needs
- Lead and contribute to complex discharge planning, advocacy and service coordination
- Work collaboratively with families and carers using family-sensitive practice
- Build strong partnerships with services including housing, NDIS, AOD, family violence, Child Protection and other community agencies
- Facilitate family meetings and contribute to the Unit 2 group program
- Provide Social Work expertise and consultation within the multidisciplinary team
- Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to Grade 2 Social Workers and Social Work students, as required
About Infant, Child, Family and Youth Area Mental Health
Infant, Child, Family and Youth Area Mental Health provides a range of mental health services to infants, children, adolescents, youth and their families within the Southern Region.
The organisational and clinical model has been developed to provide mental health care that is flexible and responsive to the individual and developmental needs of the infant to youth populations and their families. As such, this model will support the provision of integrated mental health care for young people, guided by consistent, service-wide protocols and principles of care.
Unit 2 is a specialised 25 bed inpatient unit located at Dandenong Hospital and supports consumers aged 18-25 experiencing mental illness. The unit includes up to eight intensive care area beds and 17 designated low dependency beds, allowing support to varying levels of acuity through comprehensive assessment, treatment, discharge planning, and community engagement.
About You
You are an experienced Social Worker who brings strong clinical judgement, compassion and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people experiencing mental health challenges. You will bring:
- Clinical Social Work experience within mental health, ideally within an inpatient, acute or similarly complex setting
- Strong skills in biopsychosocial assessment, intervention, risk assessment and complex discharge planning
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Confidence navigating complex social systems and advocating for young people and their families
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- An ability to provide clinical guidance, supervision and support to developing Social Workers
- A commitment to reflective practice, evidence-based care and continuous improvement
- An AASW-accredited Bachelor of Social Work or entry-level Master of Social Work qualification, providing eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
Experience providing clinical mental health services or accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker will be highly regarded.

About Us
Scanning Centre is based at Kingston. We had amalgamated Dandenong, Clayton and Casey Medical Records department in 2019.
Our Team processes documents from Sandringham, Victorian Heart Hospital, Clayton, Dandenong, Casey, all Mental Health/Community sites and SECASA. Our Team operates with over 60 EFT, we have 5 Team Leaders overseeing their own direct reports under different portfolios and 2 Trainer and Auditors. We work alongside Clinical Support Services that manages digital uploads. We collect, prep and scan medical records 7 days a week, 365 days in a year. We prep and scan over 400,000 pages a month whilst ensuring quality standards against the PROV guidelines are below 1.2% error rate. Our department oversees various operations such as Double UR's, Research, Screening OP referrals, Release of Information (after hours) and electronic uploads.
This department has highly skilled staff who are able to process, audit, uphold data integrity with high standards.
About the Role
We are looking for 2 Part Timers:
- 1 x 60 hours a fortnight (Tuesday - Friday 1:30pm-9:30pm)
- 1 x 50 hours a fortnight (Monday - Friday 3pm-8pm)
This role is based at our Monash Health Kingston Centre in Heatherton, however you may be required to work at different sites such as Clayton and Dandenong.
Responsibilities
As a part of large team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Prepping/Sorting and assembling of sensitive, medical records documents for scanning within departmental KPI's
- Follow business rules and policies and procedures
- Understanding of the Health Records Act and Privacy Act
- Scanning the paper medical record into an electronic format using the Kodak and Infomedix software systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to use PAS Systems and EMR
- Accurate entry of information into a variety of systems including iPM and SMR
- Handling of incoming telephone calls and written requests from internal and external parties - After Hours for Release of Information
- Management of inboxes
- Tracking the location of all medical records that pass through the department, and those known to be located in other departments of the hospital.
- Facilitate the timely, efficient and confidential transfer of medical records or health information to other departments and sites within Monash Health

- Working across SVHM sites, at St Vincent’s Hospital Fitzroy and St George’s Health Service Kew
- May be allocated to work across acute services, sub-acute services, residential aged care services and discretionary to experience, a range of specialty clinical areas, according to operational requirements and your scope of practice.
- Working on a rotating roster of AM, PM and ND shifts, across 7 days per week.
- You will be supported through clinical orientation and ongoing professional development, with opportunities to work collaboratively with experienced nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- Current condition-free registration with AHPRA
- Minimum qualifications: Diploma in Nursing (EN)
- Recent clinical experience, including aminimum of one year experience working in Australia
- Post Graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
- You must have the right to permanently live and work in Australia (Australian citizen or Australian Permanent resident)

About the Role:
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people by joining our Community Aged Care team as a Senior Social Worker. In this rewarding leadership role, you’ll provide complex, person-centred clinical care that supports older people to live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes. You’ll also mentor and supervise colleagues, contribute to clinical education and service improvement, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and community services. What We're Looking For:
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications, professional membership and eligibility to practise: Must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), with current professional standing/eligibility to practise as required. A current driver’s licence and ability to travel across rural and remote locations are also essential.
- Advanced clinical expertise and professional leadership: Demonstrated extensive Social Work experience, including complex clinical and consultancy practice, preferably in rural and remote settings, with the ability to work independently, provide expert advice, exercise sound professional judgement and apply evidence-based and primary health care principles.
- Leadership, supervision and professional development: Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring, education and professional support to Social Workers, students and multidisciplinary colleagues, together with a commitment to reflective practice, ongoing professional development, research and development of workforce capability.
- Person-centred practice, cultural safety and stakeholder engagement: Demonstrated commitment to client-centred practice, cultural safety, community engagement and consumer partnership, with highly developed skills in building effective relationships with clients, families, carers, Aboriginal communities, service providers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Service planning, administration and communication: Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic service planning, workforce development and service redesign, manage projects and resources, use data and technology effectively, maintain high-quality documentation, prepare reports and communicate and negotiate effectively across professional, organisational and community settings.
- Continuous improvement, innovation and quality leadership: Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to quality improvement, evaluation, research, risk management and service development, with the ability to critically analyse practice, identify opportunities for improvement and implement creative, flexible and sustainable solutions that improve outcomes for older people and the wider health service.
Desired Criteria
Participation in the AASW Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accreditation Program is desirable.
