Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Orange Therapy team, supporting a large paediatric caseload across Orange and Central West NSW.

The role involves a mix of on-site sessions (Prince Street) and community visits, with Telepractice options and flexible hours to suit part-time or full-time arrangements. A strong team culture and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

Location Orange, NSW, Australia Join our Dynamic team in Orange: The Orange Therapy team is made of of an experienced multidisciplinary team and supports a large paediatric caseload of clients both in Orange and across Central West NSW. There a strong team culture within the team and a real sense of teamwork and collaboration in supporting life changing client outcomes.

In this role you will work with a varied client caseload where the majority of clients are aged 0-18 (80%) with 50% being 0-6. The majority of clients CPA support live with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities ( 80%). A typical week in the role will include approximately 70% of client sessions being onsite at our centre of Prince Street (both in person or via Telepractice) and 30% being the community including visits to schools, client homes, and day program services. Currently most outreach is within 10 minutes of the site however the team also supports clients and families living in Bathurst, Parkes and Forbes.

Working within the Therapy team at CPA provides therapists with an opportunity to work with an experienced team locally alongside a broader speech pathology team of 60 therapists across NSW/ACT. CPA is a centre of excellence for people living with cerebral palsy and similar conditions which enables creativity and innovative practice to come to life!

Tuggerah is a well-established therapy center with a range of incredible new equipment, facilities and services, including: LiteGait Trainer, Magic Carpet, Eye-Gaze Devices, specialised telepractice equipment and outdoor play equipment. In the clinic we have 5 large therapy rooms with 1 well equipped plaster/casting room, as well as a custom seating workshop on site and a large outdoor therapy space with play equipment. There are school holiday intensive therapy groups on offer and monthly on-site equipment clinics supported by OTs and PTs with equipment suppliers. Our clinicians also provide service in a range of settings outside the clinic including client's homes, schools/pre-schools and other community settings as indicated by the client's specific goal.

Role Purpose

The Disability Support Worker role at CPA exists to provide high-quality, person-centered support to people with disabilities. You will play a vital role in empowering clients to live as independently as possible, by helping them to achieve their goals and supporting their day-to day wellbeing, dignity and quality of life.

About the Clients

At CPA, our SIL houses typically accommodate between 3-6 clients. Clients can range in age from their early 20s through to more mature-aged clients. Individuals living in CPA group homes may have a variety of disabilities, including but not limited to Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual or physical disabilities. Clients may also present with differing levels of medical needs and behaviours, requiring varying levels of support.

Role Overview

We are looking for dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our Accommodation and Respite service at our Beacon Hill group home.

This is a Permanent Part-Time opportunity, offering approximately 30+ hours per week across a variety of shifts, including morning, day, evening, and awake night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living tasks, including cooking, mealtimes, cleaning, and general household activities
• Provide personal care in a respectful and dignified manner (e.g., showering, toileting)
• Administer medication in line with care plans
• Assist with mobility and manual handling, including the use of specialised equipment such as hoists
• Monitor and document client wellbeing, reporting any changes
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a supportive and positive team environment

Shift Times

• Early mornings: 6:00am - 9:00am
• Day shifts: 9:00am - 3:00pm
• Afternoon/evening shifts: 3:00pm - 6:00pm / 7:00pm / 8:00pm / 9:00pm
• Awake overnight: 10:00pm/11:00pm - 6:0am/7:00am
