Position OverviewWe are seeking dedicated individuals to join our medical teams across multiple locations in Melbourne's Northern and Western suburbs. You will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive medical care alongside our supportive allied health team.
This is also an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of a multidisciplinary care model at cohealth. Working alongside GPs, allied health professionals, care coordinators, social workers, pharmacists and nurses, you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and clinical expertise to developing new ways of working together to better meet the complex health and social needs of our community.

About the roleAre you a passionate Podiatrist looking to elevate your clinical practice while championing health equity? At cohealth you will deliver holistic podiatry care as part of a vibrant multidisciplinary team. Managing a varied caseload, you'll treat foot conditions related to diabetes, peripheral vascular disease and other high-risk complications while empowering clients to prevent complications and improve their long-term health.
- Manage a sustainable caseload with a maximum of two new 60-minute assessments per day, 6-12 clients daily, dedicated admin time, and no home visits.
- Enjoy excellent work-life balance with five weeks of annual leave, study and conference leave, and a pro-rata professional development allowance.
- Grow your skills through paid internal training, multidisciplinary meetings, case conferencing, and opportunities to participate in quality improvement and research projects.
- Be supported by a close-knit podiatry and allied health team, dedicated administration and sterilisation support, and a diverse clinical caseload including general care, paediatrics, high-risk foot, diabetes, biomechanics, orthotics, and nail surgery.

Your duties include:- Deliver Advanced Clinical Care: Provide high-quality podiatric assessments and interventions, specializing in diabetes management, wound care, peripheral vascular disease, biomechanics, and nail surgery.
- Empower Through Education: Collaborate with clients to create practical, self-management strategies that give them autonomy over their health outcomes.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with GPs, nurses, and other allied health professionals to provide seamless, wrap-around care for complex clients.
- Uphold Excellence: Maintain accurate, high-standard clinical documentation to ensure safe, seamless continuity of care.

The role of the Community Mental Health Nurse is to enhance the quality, delivery, and integration of mental health care to AOD clients by providing nursing services with a focus on health promotion, prevention and advocacy.

About the RFMHS:Embedded within Forensicare's Community Directorate, the Regional Forensic Mental Health Service (RFMHS) comprise eight teams across the state - one in each Wellbeing region (three in metropolitan Melbourne and five in regional Victoria). These teams operate as 'spokes' to Forensicare's central Community Forensic Mental Health Services (CFMHS) 'hub'.
