WACHS will be responsible for salary and leave payments and will facilitate placements with participating primary care training providers. In this position, you will deliver comprehensive clinical assessments and provide psychiatric care and treatment for children and adolescent in the community and inpatient setting. Key Responsibilities:

Great Southern Mental Health Department

The Great Southern Mental Health Service is a well-established service comprising of Child and Adolescent, Adult community and Consultant Liaison service. Each team is staffed by a psychiatrist, at least one registrar, a resident medical officer, experienced nurses, Aboriginal mental health workers, lived experience workers and a mix of allied health professionals.

The CAMHS team is based in the community clinic in Albany and provides outreach to other towns in the region.
