Reporting directly to the Resident Services Manager, you will work as part of our clinical care team, delivering person-centered care that enhances the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for our residents.

• Delivering clinical care services, care planning, review and assessment of all aspects of clinical care.
• Ensure resident care services delivery is based on the current needs, goals and preferences of residents.
• Provide clinical support and advice to staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation reflects resident care needs and complies with funding requirements.
• Comply with all reporting requirements including incident and SIRS /mandatory reporting
• Ensure medications are administered, documented, stored, and disposed of in accordance with regulations and policy.
• Ensure that all relevant legislative requirements pertaining to care delivery are always complied with and ensure staff awareness of those requirements.

• Experience as an RN in Charge in a residential aged care home
• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions
• Dedication to resident care and support
• Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions, palliative care, and care of people living with dementia
• High level interpersonal and written skills
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Experience in managing and leading staff
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, resident representatives and other health professionals

Reporting into the Chief Governance Officer, this is an important role within the organisation.

Working across Residential Aged Care Homes and Home Care services, you will lead quality and compliance activities, support registration and audit readiness, and partner closely with clinical and operational teams to achieve strong clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance.

As the Clinical Quality and Compliance Partner, you will:

• Conduct clinical audits, internal gap analyses and risk assessments
• Lead incident management processes including root cause analysis, depth case reviews and investigations
• Manage complex complaints, including matters involving families and regulatory bodies
• Maintain and review policies, procedures and clinical documentation within centralised systems
• Provide education and coaching to staff on quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies
• Monitor legislative, regulatory and standards updates, ensuring organisational awareness and response
• Support aged care registration renewal and external audit processes
• Assist local teams during audit, monitoring and assessment visits
• Develop and monitor corrective action plans in response to observations or nonconformances

You are a proactive and collaborative clinician who brings:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in health care quality or governance

• Demonstrated experience in a similar quality, governance or compliance role within the aged care sector
• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and NQSHSS
• Proven experience in clinical audits, risk management, incident investigations and complaints management
• Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
• Experience managing compliance systems, policies and clinical data systems
