Salary: $109,767 to $115,813 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation contribution.

The Position
The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health Acute Paediatric Unit, will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering person centred, recovery orientated and trauma informed care, in accordance with the National Standards for Mental Health Services, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice, works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager and the Paediatric Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care on a designated shift, based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
Responsibilities:
Deliver acute inpatient-based mental health care coordination to paediatric consumers of the service, which includes comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, active, therapeutic engagement, monitoring and review of mental state and response to treatments, ongoing psychotherapeutic work using arrange of modalities and techniques, within a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), with focus collaboration with family and carers and trauma informed care.
Provide a high level of clinical knowledge and skill to ensure clinical standards and policies and procedures are met to promote a consumer-focused model of care, according to best practice principles.
Assist the Nurse Unit Manager and the Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with the management and coordination of resources as required.

Our significant cardiac expansion is now open, bringing together a state-of-the-art Cardiac Hybrid Theatre, expanded Cardiac Investigations Unit and dedicated 12-bed Cardiology Ward. These contemporary facilities are increasing access to specialist cardiac care locally and allowing more Central Queenslanders to receive the investigations, procedures and treatment they need closer to home.
You'll join a growing multidisciplinary team of Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiologists, Nursing, Administration and other health professionals, with opportunities to work across an expanding range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac services, develop advanced skills and contribute to the ongoing growth of cardiac care in Central Queensland.
About you:
We are seeking a Specialist Cardiologist with contemporary Interventional Cardiology experience, including current PCI practice and participation in primary PCI services, together with strong General Cardiology capability.
Importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to contribute beyond the procedural role – a specialist who is excited by the opportunity to help establish a new service from its commencement, develop capability and influence the future of specialist cardiac care for the region.

Total remuneration value of up to $564,939 p.a. is comprised of:

The PSCP unit is the Tasmanian Government’s cancer screening authority and the leading source of information on cancer screening and prevention in Tasmania.

Salary
Medical Practitioners (Public Sector) Award
A remuneration package comprising the Agreement base salary, relevant allowances and other entitlements will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on clinical experience and seniority.
Base salary points range for Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 at $222,789 through to Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 11 at $305,539 with further salary increments available.
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $309,222 - $319,701 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Market Allowance of $95,000 pro rata per annum
Provision of a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle (subject to working full-time hours) OR allowance in lieu of motor vehicle currently set at $28,786 pro rata per annum, paid fortnightly (with CPI indexation on 1 July each year).
Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $17,483 pro rata per annum.
All other allowances as per current Award.
And subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of Base salary of additional payment will be paid from (PPS). If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid.

Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health Paediatric Unit
Location: North West Tasmania
Position Type: Permanent full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible *hours can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $109,767 to $115,813 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation contribution.
Visa sponsorship and relocation support available for eligible UK/IE candidates.
The Position
The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health Acute Paediatric Unit, will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering person centred, recovery orientated and trauma informed care, in accordance with the National Standards for Mental Health Services, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice, works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager and the Paediatric Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care on a designated shift, based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver acute inpatient-based mental health care coordination to paediatric consumers of the service, which includes comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, active, therapeutic engagement, monitoring and review of mental state and response to treatments, ongoing psychotherapeutic work using arrange of modalities and techniques, within a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), with focus collaboration with family and carers and trauma informed care.
- Provide a high level of clinical knowledge and skill to ensure clinical standards and policies and procedures are met to promote a consumer-focused model of care, according to best practice principles.
- Assist the Nurse Unit Manager and the Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with the management and coordination of resources as required.

Eligibility
