What you'll be doing
The Primary Health Care Schools Based Nurse Program works closely with host schools, children, young adults, families, external organisations and social care providers to promote healthy behaviours, enhance health literacy, prevent and reduce the risk and impact of poor health and disease in a manner which is responsive and respectful to individuals, their families, school communities and other agencies.
The Primary Health Care School Based Nurse Program is responsible for facilitating identification of health, wellbeing and social needs and the coordination of appropriate early intervention, assessments, and referral to services for school-aged children and young people attending designated primary and secondary schools within the FWLHD.

About Broken Hill
Often referred to as an “Oasis in the Outback”, Broken Hill is a thriving regional town in far west NSW full of diversity, history and character. Being Australia’s first city to be Nationally Heritage Listed, Broken Hill is a culturally rich town with a vibrant art scene with over 20 galleries (more than pubs)! The unique attractions, festivals and beautiful natural landscapes see tourists flock from all over, but the ones who stay quickly fall in love with the place and its liveability. How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Current Registered Nurse Division 1 National Registration (AHPRA) with a minimum of 3 years post registration clinical experience working with children and young people, a post registration qualification related to the specialty area of child and family health, or paediatrics, or adolescent / youth health nursing practice, Primary Health Care (child and family health) or other related area or willing to obtain qualifications within six months.
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience working with children and young people, including marginalised and at-risk groups, and health promotion, prevention and early intervention approaches and evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of primary health care practice, specifically within rural and remote Australian context.
- Demonstrated ability to work within an interagency context, with an emphasis on relationship building, service delivery, quality of care and team cohesion, referrals and an ability to identify and improve opportunities to enhance integration of care for children, young people and families.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including advanced verbal and written skills; an ability to negotiate and problem solve; and the capacity to collaborate with and influence health and other professionals.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to utilise electronic communication and medical record systems across a variety of applications, including eHealth technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in the provision and development of clinical practice by utilisation of evidence based research with a demonstrated understanding of current NSW Ministry of Health Policies and National and State Standards in relation to children and young people.
- Current NSW State driver's licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes.

About the Role
We are excited to announce we are seeking applications for a Graduate Exercise Physiologist within the Allied Health Mental Health Graduate Program.
This 12-month position, will include two rotations across a range of mental health areas including child, youth, adult and older adults in both community and inpatient settings. This will assist you in developing fundamental assessment, formulation and treatment skills.
A dedicated Exercise Physiologist Clinical Educator and a learning package will assist the incumbent to develop both discipline specific and broader mental health knowledge and skills required for ongoing work in mental health care.
This position will require the incumbent to work in any clinical area at any Monash Health site as and when required.
About You
You are someone who has a genuine interest in beginning and developing your Allied Health career in Mental Health Care. You will be an early career clinician in Exercise Physiology with less than 2 years professional experience and the following skills:

The Mental Health Program serves consumers, their carers and families across the south eastern metropolitan region with bed-based, community and rehabilitation programs. The service covers the age spectrum in its entirety, offering client centred programs for 0-25yo in Infant Child and Youth, and over 18 years for Adult and Older Adult Services. About the Department & Program
Infant, Child, and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ELMHS & Youth) provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people and their families. We work with the 0-25 age group in the Southern Region, providing a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services.
We work with families to address a number of complex issues they may be experiencing, including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neuro developmental presentations and psychosis.
We also work collaboratively with families, schools and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework.
About the Role
Join our team as a Mental Health Clinician for the CORE Adolescent Team on a full-time or part-time ongoing basis, within our Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) program at Monash Health. These positions sit across Berwick, Frankston and Pakenham. Please highlight what EFT you are interested in and which site when applying.
These positions are open to professionals from the following disciplines: Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology, and Registered Psychiatric Nursing (RPN).
The CORE Adolescent Team delivers specialist mental health assessment and treatment to young people aged 12–17 years who experience severe and complex mental health challenges that cannot be managed by tier 1–4 services alone. At times, you may also provide support to the under 12s stream, ensuring continuity of care across the service.
While this role is predominantly clinic-based, you may also contribute to occasional outreach work, engaging with young people and families who are more difficult to reach. A key part of the role also involves shared-care collaboration with professionals from a wide range of agencies across the catchment, ensuring wraparound, holistic support for young people and their families.

Working on a flexible rotating roster, you'll initially provide high-quality, patient-centred care within the General Ward before having the opportunity to expand your practice into other clinical areas, including:
- Emergency Department – Triage, resuscitation, acute care and outpatient services (minimum Year 2 RN).
- Perioperative Services – Theatre, Anaesthetics, PACU and Day Surgery.
- Renal Unit – Haemodialysis day services.
- Infusion Unit – Delivering specialised therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products and iron infusions.
You'll work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care while developing confidence across a variety of clinical settings. Your transition into each specialty is supported through comprehensive orientation, supernumerary shifts, ongoing education, mentorship and regular professional development opportunities, giving you the confidence to build new skills throughout your career.
About You
We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to continue learning and developing.
You will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Recent experience within an acute care setting. A willingness to develop skills across multiple clinical specialties within a rural hospital.
- Emergency nursing experience and current ALS certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, adaptable and patient-focused approach to care.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, holistic healthcare.
Previous experience in Perioperative Services, Renal or Infusion Nursing is desirable but not essential.

About the opportunity
The Associate Director Nursing and Midwifery Services (ADNMS) is responsible for the provision of expert professional and clinical leadership in the strategic and operational management of Nursing and Midwifery services and Nursing and Midwifery Workforce within NSW Ambulance. As a Director within NSW Ambulance, this position will contribute to achieving overall strategic and operational objectives. The Associate Director Nursing and Midwifery Services advises Managers, Directors, and members of the Executive on nursing workforce matters, nursing clinical matters, and ensures NSW Ambulance meets the relevant statutory requirements.
The Associate Director Nursing and Midwifery Services contributes to NSW Ambulance clinical governance and patient safety activities to enable effective delivery of safe, high quality and value-based health care. The position monitors clinical standards for nursing clinicians within NSW Ambulance and is responsible for the credentialing of NSW Ambulance nurses. This is achieved through establishing appropriate, integrated clinical policy objectives, and establishing frameworks for clinical practice. Implementing appropriate clinical professional development programs across the multi-disciplinary health workforce and embedding a culture of professional practice, ethics, and sense of professional identity across its practitioners will be a key requirement. The Associate Director Nursing and Midwifery Services will also bring current clinical nursing or midwifery experience and expertise to the position, which will strengthen the impact of this new role within NSW Ambulance. The ADNMS will provide competent and credible clinical leadership to nurses within the organisation, role modelling the values and behaviours that are required for a contemporary nursing and midwifery clinical workforce. The position holder must ensure all relevant clinical statutory and other legal requirements and obligations are met for NSW Ambulance within the allocated resources.

About the role
Dunedoo MPS is looking for a compassionate, adaptable and team-focused Enrolled Nurse committed to providing safe, person-centred and evidence-based care.
The role involves rotating shift work across a 24/7 roster and offers a varied rural nursing experience across residential aged care, acute care and emergency presentations.
You will work closely with a supportive team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, AINs, medical officers, allied health and support staff. Each day brings different clinical experiences and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with residents, patients, families and the local community.
The successful applicant will receive a comprehensive orientation, ongoing clinical support, education, competency development and opportunities for continued professional growth.

You won't be expected to do it alone. You will be supported by an onsite Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) and Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), with a supported orientation period to help you settle into the team and environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team and under the direction and delegation of the Registered Nurse, contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
You will:
- Provide nursing care to patients within your scope of practice.
- Manage an allocated patient load under the direction of the RN.
- Undertake clinical observations, assessments and nursing interventions.
- Recognise and report changes in a patient’s condition.
- Administer medications and undertake clinical procedures within your scope of practice and competency.
- Support patients and their families throughout their care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with RNs, medical staff and the broader multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operation of the ward and delivery of safe patient care.
- Participate in education, professional development and competency-based training.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse who is ready to become part of a supportive, young and emerging team.
Ideally, you will have:
- A minimum of 12 months' clinical nursing experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and team-focused approach.
- The ability to work confidently within your scope of practice and under RN direction.
- A willingness to learn, develop and undertake further training.
- A commitment to safe, person-centred care.
- The ability to adapt to a rural environment and work across different clinical areas as required.
Experience and/or competency in venepuncture and cannulation is highly regarded. If you don't yet have these skills, we will support you to work towards achieving the relevant competencies.
You will also need to be willing to work across other departments within Scone Hospital, or at nearby facilities, when required.

- Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, person-centred nursing care within scope of practice.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
