Essential Requirements:
Registration: Current Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.

Assistant In Nursing (AIN) Children’s Short Stay Unit - Permanent Full-Time The Children’s Short Stay Unit (CSSU) provides care for up to 32-bed acute paediatric inpatient unit caring for children with a wide range of medical conditions. Working closely with the Emergency Department, CSSU provides care for patients with respiratory illnesses, infections, seizures, gastroenteritis, and other common childhood conditions, with most patients staying up to 72 hours. What you'll be doing
The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) role assists in the provision of basic nursing care, working within a plan of care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) within a team setting. AIN’s are not to be allocated their own patients. AIN’s are not to be assigned patients where one to one therapeutic nursing supervision is prescribed.
The AIN is responsible for assisting in the delivery of quality individualised care to patients at The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) within the guidelines set by the NSW Department of Health, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council Framework, The SCHN – Division of Nursing and within the limits of the AIN position description.
The AIN will:
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate ethical behaviour in their performance
•Understand and respect patients’ rights.
• Provide evidence of completion of annual mandatory training.
• Practice within the NSW Health guidelines, the position description and guidelines for the SCHN and are required to adhere to Policies and Procedures.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide effective clinical management of paediatric medical patients, under appropriate supervision, whilst developing expertise in paediatric practice, in a complex clinical environment. The CMO will be expected to adopt a progressively more independent approach to patient management according to their experience, under the guidance of and at the discretion of the appropriate Attending Medical Officer (AMO). All patients managed within the hospitals of the health district are under the direct care of a specialist medical practitioner. All decisions regarding their care are to be clearly communicated with the specialist responsible for that care.
Essential requirements
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- Minimum four years experience in general paediatrics in a metropolitan hospital or tertiary paediatric centre with demonstrated ability to work at CMO level.
- Demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner in the last 2 years in a setting appropriate to the needs of the position.

South East Regional Hospital (SERH) is a newly built, architecturally designed hospital in Bega with expansive views of the Bega Valley. It is 429 kilometres South of Sydney, 228 kilometres from Canberra or 174 kilometres from the NSW snow fields. Nearby Merimbula (32 kilometres) offers a regional airport with daily flights to Sydney and Melbourne. With many beautiful coastal towns, national parks, snow fields and beaches within a short driving distance, it is the perfect location for those looking to for a family-friendly area with great work-life balance. There are many outdoor activities to enjoy including fishing, hiking, swimming, camping, walking, mountain biking and whale watching to just name a few. For young families looking to relocate to the region, there is the newly established Welcome Experience to help with finding work for spouses, schooling, childcare and integration into the local community.
South East Regional Hospital is the regional referral centre for the expansive south coast regions from Bateman's Bay to Cooma and down past the Victorian border to Mallacoota. The state of the art hospital is equipped with 3 operating theatres, ICU, 5 inpatient wards and outpatient services. There is also a dedicated office for the Orthopaedic registrars as well as a shared JMO lounge. Rural unaccredited trainees will also be eligible to apply for scholarships through HETI to help with attending courses and conferences. Fully furnished shared accommodation is usually provided to trainee's by the hospital.
What you'll be doing
The Orthopaedic SRMO is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Orthopaedic inpatients, providing an on-call service for SERH plus 3 surrounding hospitals within the health district. There is a good mix of elective and emergency operating with approximately 1200 operations performed annually. The SRMO will be responsible for the supervision of the resident medical officer as well as rotating medical students from the ANU Medical School.
The Orthopaedic Department is staffed by 2 unaccredited trainee registrars and 1 AOA accredited trainee registrar with a regular 1 in 4 on-call rosters with occasional 1 in 3 on-calls during periods of leave. The well-supported unit allows unaccredited trainees to gain a well-rounded experience in Orthopaedics. The job allows trainees/SRMOs to rotate daily through being on-call, managing acute orthopaedic emergencies, elective and emergency operating lists and outpatient clinics. There are a wide range of educational activities on offer including regular journal clubs, weekly X-ray meetings, teaching, quarterly Morbidity and Mortality meetings and the opportunity to take on research projects. This position would suit both an experienced trainee looking to hone their operative skills with a view to apply for the AOA Training Program or a junior trainee looking for a well-balanced introduction into Orthopaedic Surgery.

Nepean Hospital is the tertiary referral unit for Blue Mountains and Lithgow Hospitals as well as the Central West of NSW. The Hospital is designated as a regional trauma centre with all major medical and surgical specialties on site and is affiliated with the University of Sydney. The new ED opened in early 2023 as part of the stage 1 redevelopment. It provides an excellent area to provide care for our patients in a modern and spacious environment. What you'll be doing
- Trainees are responsible for the assessment, investigation and initial management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department. This is under the supervision of the Emergency Physicians when required.
- Assist with the management of patients in order to provide high quality, safe, patient-centred care. This includes coordinating admissions, assisting with patient assessments, implementing treatment plans, and organizing referrals.
- Perform procedures under instruction and supervision, to assist with patient care and contribute to learning.
- Undertaking education and various other quality assurance activities carried out within the department.
- Participating in 24/7 rotating roster of days, evenings, nights and weekends.
Where you'll be working
- Nepean Emergency sees approximately 75,000 patients per year, of which about 36% are admitted to hospital. Approximately 20% of these patients are under 14 years of age.
- Staffed by 50 Emergency Physicians providing up to 5 consultants per shift from 0700-2400, with Advanced Trainee cover overnight.
- Consultant special interests including retrieval, toxicology, ultrasound and medical education.
- Designated Regional Trauma Centre by the Institute of Trauma and Injury Management.
- Accredited by ACEM for 3 years of training including TS4.

The Team
The Sexual Assault Medical Service is a specialised service of both doctors and nurses within the Department of Health’s Women’s & Children’s Service, supporting adult and paediatric clients affected by sexual assault and family violence.
The team works as part of the broader Tasmanian health system to provide safe, accessible, culturally respectful and evidence-based care to vulnerable people. Through multidisciplinary collaboration, clinical leadership, education, quality improvement and strong links with community and justice services, the team supports the Department’s commitment to safeguarding, improving health outcomes, and ensuring coordinated care for individuals and families across the community.
The Role
Provide expert clinical and forensic care for adults affected by sexual assault and family violence, including forensic examinations, evidence collection, medico-legal reporting, court testimony, and support for paediatric assessments. Lead clinical governance, policy development, statewide reporting, and continuous quality improvement to ensure evidence-based practice.
Build workforce capability through education and stakeholder engagement, strengthen partnerships across health, police, child protection and justice sectors, and support compliance, risk management, safeguarding, and service development to deliver high-quality forensic and support services.
You will need
- Highly developed clinical management and leadership skills, and demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in the specific area of forensic and clinical examination in accordance with best practice standards, utilising a high degree of independent decision making, with the ability to perform as an expert witness in relation to evidentiary processes within the criminal justice system.
- Demonstrated highly developed leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to apply these skills within a sensitive setting and to ensure effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed skills regarding the coordination and integration of contemporary information and research evidence to support decision making, innovative thinking and objective analysis to achieve agreed outcomes within Sexual Assault Support Service setting, including the ability to contribute to the review and development of policies and procedures relevant to the practice setting.

The Role
Registered Midwives within lilinga work alongside Registered and Enrolled Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care that supports the careplan, and promotes the wellbeing and confidence of families admitted to the unit.

The Team
Cardiac Physiologists at the Royal Hobart Hospital enjoy a collaborative working environment within a supportive multi-disciplinary team. As well as cardiac device management and electrophysiology, members of the Cardiac Physiologist team specialise in adult and paediatric echocardiography and there is opportunity to work within more than one of these disciplines.
Royal Hobart Hospital is Tasmania’s largest hospital, and the Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit within the RHH is the tertiary referral centre for all cardiothoracic surgery in Tasmania.
The Role
You will work with our Cardiac Physiology team and the Cardiologists to help deliver a high-quality, efficient and effective cardiac rhythm management service. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will apply a high degree of professional judgement in the management of patients in accordance with relevant standards and evidence-based practice. We operate an after-hours on-call service.
You will need
- Extensive experience as a Cardiac Physiologist in the field of electrophysiology and/or cardiac implantable electronic devices management.
- High-level knowledge and understanding of cardiac rhythm interpretation with the ability to provide technical support in the development of the cardiac rhythm management service.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high-level of autonomy and demonstrated organisational and time management skills.

The Team
The Launceston General Hospital is the principal referral hospital in the region for more than a quarter of a million people.
The Launceston General Hospital (LGH) provides a Level 5 neonatal service and works closely with Maternity Services to deliver comprehensive care to mothers and babies across Northern Tasmania. Women's and Children's Services comprises a 6-bed Labour Ward, 27-bed Maternity Unit, and a 9-bed Level 2 Special Care Nursery caring for neonates from 32 weeks gestation and above.
Special Care Nursery provides family-centred neonatal care for babies requiring additional monitoring, treatment, and support, while working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for infants and their families.
Women's and Children's Services offers free Clinical Supervision for nurses and midwives and fosters a supportive culture of professional development, education, and continuous quality improvement.
The Role
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) - Special Care Nursery facilitates and supports the education, professional development, and clinical capability of nursing staff, students, and learners within Women's and Children's Services, with a specific focus on neonatal care.
As a key member of the Women's and Children's Services leadership team, the Clinical Nurse Educator contributes to workforce development, succession planning, quality improvement initiatives, policy and procedure development, and the achievement of strategic and operational service goals.
The successful applicant will:
- Lead, coordinate, and evaluate educational programs that support evidence-based neonatal nursing practice.
- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, graduates, and students working within the Special Care Nursery.
- Support the delivery of high-quality care to neonates from 32 weeks gestation and above through education, competency development, and clinical leadership.
- Promote family-centred care principles and support staff in partnering with families to achieve positive health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement, accreditation, and patient safety activities to enhance neonatal services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain best practice standards and support service innovation.
- Assist in the orientation, transition, and ongoing professional development of nurses across Women's and Children's Services.
- Provide neonatal nursing expertise and consultation to inpatient units and other clinical areas as required.
You will need
- Demonstrated advanced level knowledge, skills and clinical experience and the ability to lead change in nursing practice through a quality and safety framework.
- Ability to apply teaching and learning strategies in the clinical area, including the development, implementation and evaluation of professional development, education and training activities.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary education, health and professional development issues (inclusive of critical thinking and reasoning, and reflective practice), National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and their impact on the knowledge and skill requirements of the nursing workforce, and patient care.
- Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications in neonatal nursing, paediatrics, education, or a related specialty area.

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, day worker, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary
$118,297 to $125,543 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and equipment in line with infection control and safety standards

Role Impact
Provide operational and strategic support to St Vincent’s (SVHM) clinical and non-clinical service directorates to support these directorates in managing and developing their teams and employees through contemporary People & Culture strategies and initiatives.
Lead a team of People & Culture (P&C) professionals to deliver outstanding customer service to managers and employees at SVHM adhering to HR SVHM policies, Enterprise Agreements, relevant employment legislation and in line with values of the organization.
Represent SVHM in Victorian Hospitals Industrial Association (VHIA) reference groups and lead SVHM representation to VHIA for all industrial matters including enterprise agreement negotiations, implementation and the ongoing management of iindustrial advice on the enterprise agreements.

Strong presentation, facilitation and digital learning capabilities are essential, along with proficiency in Learning Management Systems, virtual learning platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
You will be a highly organised and adaptable professional with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills. The role requires the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment. About the opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Leadership Support Officer to support our Chief Clinical Officer and General Manager – Client Services & Marketing. Based at our Head Office in Richmond, this is a pivotal role at the heart of our national healthy ageing portfolio, offering exposure to strategic operations and leadership. You will be also supporting other leaders within the Healthy Ageing division occasionally, as directed. You will be playing a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations, enabling our leaders to focus on delivering exceptional care and services to older Australians. This will be a fixed term role based at our Head Office in North Richmond until May 2027, with a potential for extension.
You will:
- Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to senior executives.
- Full diary management for two senior leaders, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
- Prepare professional documents including reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Take accurate meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Support divisional projects and initiatives as directed.
- Responsible for organising offsite meetings (small and large), sometime over multiple days
- Assistance with inbox management for 2 leaders
- Process and management of credit card and invoice expenses
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience assisting senior management to maximise their value to the Organisation
- Understanding of large and complex organisations and organisational cultures.
- Experience working in the Aged Care land scape will be advantageous, not mandatory
- Outstanding administration and organisational skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prepare meeting minutes, correspondence and presentations.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information exercising the highest degree of discretion.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst managing various tasks.
- Exercise of mature judgement within delegated authority and anticipate issues/concerns.
- A positive and proactive mindset with the ability to use your initiative to anticipate the needs of your managers and the teams you will be working in

- A valid Police Check
