About the Role:
Providing care across two of Adelaide's northern suburbs hospitals, this is an opportunity to join a skilled and supportive nursing pool where variety is the norm and every shift contributes to the health of a growing community.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of the NALHN Permanent Pool, you will work across both Lyell McEwin Hospital and Modbury Hospital, filling shifts that keep wards running and patients supported. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct clinical care to patients across a range of ward environments within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, person-centred outcomes
- Assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care in line with your scope of practice as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly across different clinical settings and teams
- Sound clinical assessment and communication skills
- Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and evidence-based practice
- Ability to work part-time hours across rotating rosters at Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospital sites
- SA Health employment screening clearances, including a National Police Check
To be eligible for this position:
- You must be registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.
- You must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships. An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.

NALHN provides a range of hospital (inpatient), outpatient, community and home-based services across multiple sites in Adelaide’s north and north-eastern suburbs, including Aboriginal health, mental health, and GP services.
Lyell McEwin Hospital–the major hospital in northern Adelaide for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetric, paediatrics and outpatient services.
Modbury Hospital–a general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
Mental Health Services–adult and older persons mental health services and statewide forensic mental health services, across hospital and community settings.
Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Primary Health Care Services–provides culturally responsive primary healthcare services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in-hospital and across four community sites.

Role Impact
Provide operational and strategic support to St Vincent’s (SVHM) clinical and non-clinical service directorates to support these directorates in managing and developing their teams and employees through contemporary People & Culture strategies and initiatives.
Lead a team of People & Culture (P&C) professionals to deliver outstanding customer service to managers and employees at SVHM adhering to HR SVHM policies, Enterprise Agreements, relevant employment legislation and in line with values of the organization.
Represent SVHM in Victorian Hospitals Industrial Association (VHIA) reference groups and lead SVHM representation to VHIA for all industrial matters including enterprise agreement negotiations, implementation and the ongoing management of iindustrial advice on the enterprise agreements.

About the Role
The Midwifery Group Practice Midwife will aim to expand the options for maternal health services for pregnant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and women having an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander baby. The MGP midwife will provide clinical, cultural, educational and psychological support as well as enhancing the seamless transition to child and family health nursing and to other services or agencies as required. The MGP midwife will also have the opportunity to work with women who are not Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, when there is space within their caseload.
Demonstrate a broad range of midwifery skills and knowledge to provide and coordinate woman-centred, evidence-informed, high quality, midwifery care (consistent with NSW and SLHD policies, procedures and standards) for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, and women having an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander baby, and their partners and families across the continuum of pregnancy, birth and the postnatal/newborn period.

About the Role
In this role, you will provide care to Renal and Liver Transplant patients as part of a collaborative, team-based nursing approach. Employment will initially commence on an 8-hour shift pattern, with the potential opportunity to transition to a 12-hour shift pattern where suitable.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).

What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the Basic Physician Trainee (BPT) is to provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in medical practice in a complex clinical environment in inpatient and outpatient areas in the public health organisations within the Network.
Basic Physician Training roles consist of rotations through medical departments, working under an appropriate level of supervision by consultants. Rotations have different levels of responsibility and team structures. BPTs will gain increasing clinical autonomy and accountability as team leaders throughout the course of the three-year training program, building on their skills and attributes with the goal of entering an Advanced Training program.
BPTs undertaking the care of medical patients should ensure that they operate within their own level of expertise within a collaborative clinical care model and to seek consultation with the treating physician when appropriate, in the following activities:
- Clinically assess patients, incorporating consultation/history taking, examination, and formulation of a differential diagnosis and management plans
- Discuss diagnoses and management plans with patients and their families or carers
- Document the progress of patients in multiple settings
- Prescribe medications tailored to patients’ needs and conditions
- Transfer care of patients
- Choose, organise and interpret investigations
- Assess and manage acutely unwell patients
- Plan, prepare for, perform, and provide after care for important procedures
- MBBS or equivalent, current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- This role requires eligibility for or current registration as a Basic Physician Trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and intent to obtain Fellowship of the RACP. What is your current RACP status?

The Adolescent Medicine department at The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN) are seeking a temporary 0.4 FTE (16 hours per week) Staff Specialist to join their team. The expected commencement date for this role is 1st November 2026, with an end date of 30th June 2027. The position will be based at the Children's Hospital at Westmead (CHW) in the Eating Disorders Service.
What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the Staff Specialist in Adolescent Medicine is to provide specialist medical care for patients within the Eating Disorder Service. The Staff Specialist position works collaboratively with the Psychological Medicine Staff Specialists and multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive medical treatment and psychological care for patients and their families. It includes, inpatient and outpatient services, clinical supervision for junior medical staff, contribution to Adolescent Medicine on Call service and specialist medical cover for various clinical services within the Department as required. The position will contribute to strategic planning, service development, quality improvement, teaching and education, supervision of junior medical staff.
Clinical services within the department include:
SCHN Eating Disorder Service (EDS) provides treatment for children and adolescents with anorexia nervosa and other eating disorders from across New South Wales. Comprehensive programs at The Children's Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick include Inpatient re-feeding admissions, outpatient treatment, intensive day treatment, family admission program, parent groups and extensive family therapy program. The EDS also has a well-established clinical research program and regularly provides training, education and supervision to other services. The EDS is jointly managed and staffed by the Department of Psychological Medicine and Department of Adolescent Medicine.
Complex Adolescent Clinic (CAC) provides multidisciplinary medical and psychosocial assessment and management of adolescents with complex chronic conditions, chronic pain and fatigue syndromes impacting on their wellbeing and function.
CICADA Service is a lifespan approach to the Care and Intervention for Children and Adolescents affected by Drugs and Alcohol. The clinical service provides multidisciplinary comprehensive diagnostic assessment and management for high-risk vulnerable children and adolescents with FASD, substance use within the family or of the Adolescent.
Gender Services (GS)provides an interdisciplinary service between Adolescent Medicine, Psychological Medicine and Paediatric Endocrinology providing collaborative medical and psychosocial assessment, management for trans and gender diverse children and adolescents.
Various other services include Other Adolescent Medicine servicesinclude clinics, Adolescent Gynaecology, Adolescent Bladder Clinics, Self-Management Service, Adolescent Endocrine clinic, Group Programs and Youth Arts.

The Role
We are seeking a motivated nurse, preferably with 3 years of clinical experience to provide specialised nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, cancer treatment and non-oncology treatment. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, administration of chemotherapy and other oncologic therapies, symptom management, patient education, and emotional support. Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care throughout the cancer treatment journey

- Current knowledge of, and the ability to apply nursing principles, procedures and practices in the delivery of patient/client care in a designated practice area and in line with legal requirements and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBA) Registered Nurse standards for practice.

The Role
The CNS - RC is an experienced clinician who will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and facilitating all inter-facility transfers around Tasmania via road, fixed wing, or rotary wing, including interstate transfers, in accordance with the Tasmanian Role Delineation Framework, the Tasmanian Clinical Services Profile and Agency policies and protocols, and available services at Tasmanian hospitals and facilities.
- Ensuring triaging patients for transfer are appropriately transferred to the right place and receive the required level of care at the right time in accordance with operational processes.
Providing clinical leadership and expertise in quality patient management services, within both the ComCen and CCR multidisciplinary teams.
You will need
- Highly developed clinical knowledge, skills, and experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting, including expertise in emergency care, and the ability to apply best practice principles in the delivery and coordination of nursing practice within the clinical setting.
- Demonstrate high level time management and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise clinical and administrative tasks, along with proven leadership skills to support the AT team and work effectively within a busy multidisciplinary environment subject to work pressure and change.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including oral and written, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and a proven ability to provide specialist advice, educate, influence and be credible to a range of health professionals and consumers.

The Role

Rheumatology Unit
The Rheumatology Unit at Launceston General Hospital was established in early 2026 and is a growing multidisciplinary service dedicated to providing comprehensive rheumatology care across North and North West regions of Tasmania.
The team currently consists of 2-3 rheumatologists, 2 physiotherapists, 1 clinical nurse consultant, and 1 administrator. Despite its small size, the unit is a dynamic and collaborative team that values innovation, patient-centred care, and continuous service development.
Working closely together, the multidisciplinary team provides coordinated, patient-centred care for individuals living with inflammatory rheumatic diseases, including inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, and crystal arthropathies, helping patients achieve the best possible health and quality-of-life outcomes.
The Role:
- Staff Specialist Rheumatologist, providing specialist care in Rheumatology
- Provide outpatient consultation to public patients across Northern Tasmania in specialist Rheumatology services
- Provide specialist advice to inpatient units as required.
- Be involved in research and quality improvement activities, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching

- The remuneration package for this position, based on classification as a Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 9, starts at $484,000 per annum, with potential for higher earnings dependant on seniority, in accordance with the current Specialist Medical Practitioner Award (Tasmania)
- Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $309,222 -$319,701 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award. Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2025
In addition, the following allowances and benefit, calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Provision of a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle (subject to working full-time hours)OR allowance in lieu of motor vehicle currently set at $30,254 pro rata per annum, paid fortnightly (with CPI indexation on 1 July each year).

- Relocation allowance.

Position details
The Team
The Tasmanian Health Service (THS) is seeking experienced Clinical Coders to join its state-wide Clinical Coding team. The team utilises a state-wide PAS, scanned health record along with other state-wide clinical information systems.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate clinical coding experience in a health service with casemix comparable to that of the THS. The THS provides services including trauma, burns, interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, obstetric and specialist neonatal services as well as general medical and surgical services.
Support will be provided by the Clinical Coding Quality and Education Specialists and Clinical Coding Managers team, along with Clinical Coding colleagues across the state.
The THS is pleased to offer flexible working conditions, Salary Packaging and rostered day off (RDO) arrangements (full time).
The Role
- Undertake accurate clinical coding, abstracting relevant clinical information from health records and other clinical information systems. Assign codes within the operational guidelines of the current edition of the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision, Australian Modification (ICD-10-AM), Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI) and Australian Coding Standards (ACS).
- Ensure that clinical coding data is completed and entered into the hospital patient administration system, utilising clinical coding and grouping software, and in accordance with required coding benchmarks.
- Analyse and verify that the required clinical documentation is present for each inpatient episode and where appropriate, follow up/liaise with clinical staff for clarification where insufficient detail is documented.
- Validate the accuracy of Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) allocation, including review of cost weight, length of stay (LOS), and Episode Clinical Complexity Score (ECCS) data for all inpatient episodes coded.
- Participate in clinical coding education and quality improvement activities, including coding audits, data quality audits, research project audits and other coding quality activities as required.

- Diploma of Clinical Coding (HLT50321) (or equivalent), or
- Master's in health information Management

Details of appointment
- Multiple Permanent, full time and part time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from January 2027. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Location:Statewide – Tasmania, with office locations available across the state. We will consider hybrid and remote working from home options for the right candidate.
Salary
$85,196 to $97,915 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

The appointee to this position will be a specialist medical practitioner holding FRANZCOG, with subspecialty certification in REI (or progressing toward this) and have appropriate medical and surgical expertise and experience to provide clinical services in reproductive endocrinology, infertility (including assisted conception) and fertility preservation.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) with either subspecialist Certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), or having been selected by the RANZCOG National subspecialty selection process for CREI training.
