Orange Health Service
About the role
Are you ready to take your perioperative nursing career to the next level in a growing and evolving environment? Join Orange Hospital, the major referral centre for Western NSW, and become part of a high-performing operating theatre team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centred care and driving innovation in rural health. Opportunities to join our team are rare. Many of our nurses have built rewarding careers here before progressing to senior roles in larger hospitals, while others are now enjoying a well-earned retirement. This is your chance to be part of that success story.
Our operating suite includes five operating theatres, a procedural room, and a 10-bay recovery unit, supporting a diverse range of specialties including trauma, orthopaedics, upper GI, urology, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology, and ophthalmology. As a Registered Nurse within our perioperative service, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate across specialties, develop broad clinical expertise, access strong mentorship, and contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives.
Whether you are an experienced perioperative nurse looking to influence the future direction of a growing service, aspiring to step into leadership, or at the beginning of your nursing journey, we want to hear from you. Our team is united by a commitment to clinical excellence, professional development, and supporting one another to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
You will participate in a 7-day rotating roster, including on-call commitments, and bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. Most importantly, you will be passionate about making a difference in rural healthcare and helping build a thriving, forward-thinking perioperative service.
Join us at Orange Hospital and build a career you can be proud of while making a lasting impact on the health of our communities.
