About the Role
The Registered Midwife in the Delivery Ward is responsible for the provision of woman centred; evidence- based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Midwife will assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

About the Opportunity
Join the Singleton Community Health Nursing Team and make a meaningful difference by delivering person-centred healthcare to individuals and families across Singleton and surrounding rural communities. Our team provides a broad range of community-based nursing services, including immunisations, chronic disease management, health assessments, wound care, care coordination and health promotion. As a Community Health Registered Nurse, you'll work collaboratively with general practitioners, allied health professionals, hospitals, aged care providers and community agencies to deliver coordinated, holistic care tailored to each person's needs. What You Will Be Doing
As a Registered Nurse within the Singleton Community Health Nursing Team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care across a variety of community health settings, delivering high-quality care that supports people to remain healthy and independent within their own homes and communities.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver community nursing services across clinic and home-based settings.
- Provide immunisation services in accordance with NSW Health guidelines.
- Undertake comprehensive health assessments and develop person-centred care plans.
- Deliver chronic disease management and preventative health programs.
- Perform wound assessment and management using evidence-based practices.
- Coordinate care and facilitate referrals to appropriate health and community services.
- Provide health promotion, education and self-management support to individuals and families.
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, Singleton Community Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate is a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse with experience in community and primary healthcare who is passionate about improving health outcomes for rural communities. You enjoy working autonomously while remaining connected to a multidisciplinary team and are confident managing a varied caseload across clinic and community settings. You will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement, strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering evidence-based, person-centred care. Essential requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.
- Accredited Nurse Immuniser (NSW), or willingness to complete an approved immunisation course within the first 12 months of employment.
- Demonstrated experience in community or primary healthcare nursing.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a diverse caseload.
- Excellent communication, assessment and clinical decision-making skills.

Essential Criteria
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Radiation Oncologist and/or overseas trained specialist pathway and NSW EPA Radiation Licenses: License S3 Use radioactive substances for radiation oncology; and License IA3 Use radiation apparatus for radiation oncology
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Radiation Oncology at the role delineation of the service. Experience in treating CNS, haematological and skin cancers would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time

Four state of the art operating theatres
38 overnight beds

To be successful, you will have:
Certificate IV and/or Diploma Qualification in Anaesthetic Technology / Nursing (Anaesthetic Technicians, Anaesthetic Nurses)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team
In this pivotal leadership role, you will be the direct line manager to a team of After-Hours Nurse Managers and the Casual Pool Nursing Workforce, delivering service excellence and providing support for quality, improvement, staff development and risk management across all hospital departments. You’ll be responsible for the movement of patients through the hospital and for ensuring safe and efficient patient care.
You will:
- Work in collaboration with the hospital leadership team to coordinate patient flow, ensuring efficient allocation of patients to beds in line with our bed management and access strategy.
- Work to achieve optimal patient outcomes and exceptional patient satisfaction
- Facilitate and manage effective communication across the hospital and with key stakeholders, including consultation with pre-admission office, Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Liaison Nurse and VMO’s.
- Collaborate with your peers day-to-day to ensure the provision of a coordinated nursing service, allowing for a highly functional service that supports excellent bed management and patient flow.
- Recruit to ensure adequate staffing, maintaining a flexible workforce to support patient occupancy, ensuring budget and performance indicators are managed effectively.
- Lead the team to contribute to the hospital’s strategic plan, develop actions plans and formulate policy and procedure as required.
- Contribute to the hospital’s Quality Improvement Program by recommending and overseeing improvement projects and assisting with audit activities as required.
- Promote the importance of maintaining the dignity of the patient and patient confidentiality.
- Respond to emergencies, as required.
What makes a difference for us?
As an experienced nursing clinician, you will showcase a working knowledge of contemporary nursing practices, being actively across current and emerging healthcare service delivery trends. With strong communication skills, you’ll be confident facilitating communication within a large organisation, effectively collaborating with stakeholders to manage and negotiate outcomes.
- Bachelor of Nursing / current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in a leadership role or senior role within a patient flow specialty with the skills and the ability to manage and support an after-hours team.

- Knowledge of legislation, Acts and Regulations relevant to healthcare service delivery. Knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, Risk, Safety & Quality, HR, Emergency Response, Financial Acumen
- Proficiency with the MS Suite of products and the use of internal systems, eg Cerner, Kronos and Trendcare is desirable
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment

Assist theatre staff to transport patients within the Operating Suite from Reception and Day Stay Unit to the appropriate Theatre, Recovery, and Reception for discharge.

About the role
This permanent part-time Senior Pharmacist (Grade 3) role is three days per week and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hospital Pharmacy Service at Neringah Hospital in Wahroonga, and other HammondCare Health & Hospital sites if required.

- Strong background in Palliative Care and end-of-life care pharmacy practice (Desirable)

- Experience with iPharmacy

Selection Criteria
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the RACGP/ ACRRM/RACP and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Minimum three (3) years post graduate clinical experience. Previous experience in Emergency Medicine, General Practice, Adult Internal Medicine, Paediatrics or Rural Medicine an advantage.
- Knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Competence in performing the range of minor urgent procedures commonly undertaken in a rural emergency department including Advanced Life Support and Trauma management
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, and research and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
- Demonstrated commitment to behaviours which align to the NSW Health CORE values and MLHD Values, goals and strategies.

About the Role
The BreastScreen Radiologist is responsible for the provision of radiological services relating to screen reading and assessment clinic services at BreastScreen NSW Murrumbidgee and Southern NSW Local Health Districts, located in Wagga Wagga and Queanbeyan. The successful applicant will work closely with the Designated Radiologist, Clinical Coordinator, Consultant Surgeon and Pathologist to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care and maintain compliance with the National Accreditation Standards of BreastScreen Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in quality assurance activities as part of the BreastScreen program.
- Perform breast screening image reading and interpretation services.
- Provide assessment clinic services, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Perform stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary BreastScreen team to maintain high-quality screening and assessment services.
- Participate in accreditation activities and support compliance with National Accreditation Standards.
- Attend Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and Clinical Advisory, Review and Education (CARE) meetings.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and education activities as required under BreastScreen Australia standards.
Essential Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists.
- Current Medical Board registration with AHPRA.
- Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence.
