Take on an essential support role where you’ll ensure the smooth running of catering, housekeeping, and laundry services across the health unit. As a Services Assistant, you’ll play a key part in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. This role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, community-focused healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide catering services, including preparing, plating, and delivering meals, and assisting clients with menu selections.
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, carpet shampooing, window cleaning, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.
- Undertake laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and distributing linen, uniforms, and client clothing.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely, including washing machines, ovens, and other machinery, and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with stock management, minor food preparation, and material resource handling in line with unit requirements.
- Follow instructions, support team members, and contribute to the efficient operation of the health unit.
- Undertake training to maintain skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

An exciting opportunity for dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our compassionate and dynamic team at Naracoorte Hospital and Moreton Bay House on a casual basis. About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct, person-centred care and individual case management to patients in a range of clinical areas. You will work collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your role will include coordinating services with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure the best possible health outcomes for your patients.
This position offers variety, allowing you to expand your nursing skills across different areas, from acute care through to aged care.
