The OpportunityWe're urgently looking for Disability Community Support Workers living in the Ivanhoe Victoria (Bellfield, Heidelberg, Bundoora are). In this rewarding role, you'll support elderly clients to live safely and independently in their own homes-while staying connected to their community.
What You'll Be Doing- Providing social support, companionship, and meaningful engagement
- Assisting with transport, shopping, and outings
- Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting with domestic tasks and meal preparation
- Ongoing support from experienced mentors and team leaders
- Paid induction and continuous training
- Regular weekday roster (Mon-Fri, between 7am-6pm)
- Minimum 3-4 days availability required
- Willing to work on weekends
- Open for possible night shifts
- Caring, empathetic, and reliable individuals
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community (or studying Nursing - highly regarded)
- Disability/Aged Care experience
- Driver's licence + reliable insured vehicle (essential)
- Current checks (or willingness to obtain): First Aid/CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC
