The Job
Emergency Medicine Registrars required for this coastal WA regional hospital. Flexible start dates through 2026.
You will experience a wide variety of presentations major trauma, orthopaedics, paediatrics and toxicology in this FACEM-led ED department. Exposure to rural medicine/settings is also available.
Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months emergency medicine experience in a comparable healthcare setting and be at level PGY3+.
Essential
All international candidates required to meet criteria for registration with AHPRA via the Competent Authority Pathway. We cannot accept doctors through the Standard Pathway.

The Clinic
- Over 40 years of trusted patient care, serving multiple generations of families
- 6-doctor team (4 males, 1 female, 1 on maternity leave)
- Mixed billing model, with a high percentage of private billings
- Strong focus on continuity of care, chronic disease management, and procedural work
- Full nursing support, including chronic disease management nurses
- Onsite pathology and allied health services for streamlined patient care
- Billings per consulting hour range from $271 to $416 (average $337 per hour)
The Location

Essential Criteria
- FRACGP and Specialist Registration in General Practice

- 65-70% of billings, based on experience, patient volume, and commitment
- 90% of billings for the first 3 months to help new doctors establish themselves

The Youth Hospital in the Home (Y‑HiTH) team is part of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) in North‑West Tasmania. Based in Devonport, this multidisciplinary team provides intensive, home‑based mental health care for young people aged 16–24. Their work addresses a critical service gap in the region by offering timely mental health support outside of hospital settings.
The Position
Permanent full time, shift worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary: $106,570 to $112,440 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Be part of a multidisciplinary youth mental health service (16-25 years of age) delivering high quality mental health care and, in accordance with Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies.
You will need to:
- Provide clinical expertise in contemporary nursing practice within the Y-HiTH setting, promoting professional standards of practice and an environment conducive to innovation and change that promotes best practice and meets established accreditation standards of practice.
- Maintain and display advanced clinical practice skills within the Y-HiTH and act as a resource person to other members of the multidisciplinary team in the management of complex clinical issues.
- Provide recovery focused specialist mental health assessments and intensive home-based care, using recognised assessment methods and evidence-based interventions, for young people and their families/significant others of the Y-HiTH.

The Position:

The Position
Skilled Medical is seeking an Intensive Care (ICU) Registrar to join the Intensive Care Unit at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital commencing on 2 March or 3 August 2026.
Health Service
This ICU is accredited as a C12 unit under the CICM training program, with endorsements for General, Rural, and Paediatric training. They actively support CICM candidates, helping them prepare for Part 1 and Part 2 exams, and have a history of trainees successfully completing their CICM research projects during their time in the department. Non-training registrars have also published research projects in peer-reviewed journals. All registrars have the chance to get involved in quality improvement and research initiatives, contributing to the ongoing advancement of our department.
The successful candidate would join a team of 12-14 Registrars and a diverse group of nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals. The ICU provides critical care for both adult and paediatric patients, managing complex cases and transporting patients within Hawkes Bay and to tertiary referral centres. You'll have opportunities to be involved in rotary wing and road transfers.
The Location
Hawkes Bay Hospital is a 400-bed secondary-level public hospital in Hastings, serving a population of over 180,000 people. They offer both acute and elective care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties, including paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and more. Although they don't provide cardiothoracic and neurosurgery, they are supported by a strong regional ICU team, ensuring comprehensive care for a diverse patient population. Essential Criteria
An MBBS or equivalent to enable registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and Fellowship with an Australian Medical Specialist College is mandatory.
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA) is highly desirable for this role however not mandated.
The ability to work in a clinical capacity (0.2 FE) in your recognised specialty with the Central Queensland Health would be highly desirable.
Current ALS certification and enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program with the appropriate bodies is mandatory.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in the Senior Medical/ DMS on call roster. The appointee will be required to undergo a credentialing process and will be granted appropriate scope of clinical practice. There is a system of review and renewal of credentials and Scope of Clinical Practice for Specialists and Non-specialist Senior Medical Officers on staff. This is reviewed on a three-yearly basis.
The Package
Total package up to $543,581 p.a.
Additional benefits to this role include:
