About this opportunity
Join Amplar Health Home Hospital where flexibility meets impact.
Work onsite at our Virtual Care Centre located in Eastwood (South Australia) on a full time or part-time basis (0.6 FTE or greater commitment is preferred)

About you
We are looking for Consultants in Emergency Medicine/various Specialty Physicians/General Practice that:
Have full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner with at least 5 years’ experience as medical registrar, General Practitioner and/or with a Medical specialist interest.
Can apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience to determine the appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations, and treatment of patients with acute conditions, in line with clinical risk and compliance frameworks.
Have confidence some experience in providing virtual care
Confidence in reviewing biometric data trends to assist with early identification of deterioration is key
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to being part of a high-performing health care team.
Have a high level of professionalism, with the ability to relate well with people of all interests, background and abilities and a commitment to delivering exemplary care to our patients. 
Hold a current South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing to obtain).
Hold a valid South Australian Drivers Licence if you are open to working some of the time as a MyHH 'Road Doctor'

Looking for real scope, real impact, and real community connection? We are looking for suitably qualified GPs to take up roles with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Far West NSW, at a variety of outreach locations.
Join the RFDS and practise medicine where it truly matters. This is a genuine rural generalist opportunity offering clinical variety, procedural exposure, and the chance to make a lasting difference.
This is not a standard clinic role. You’ll see diverse presentations, build continuity with remote patients, and become part of the communities you serve. You will fly in and out via aircraft or use road travel for drive-in clinics.
You will have support from a number of multidisciplinary team members including flight nurses, medical officers, pilots and the executive team along with fully equipped facilities.
Rostering
Available cycles in the form of:
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
- month on/ month off
Happy to discuss models with candidates but looking for continuity to ensure patient stability and team cohesion.
The Package
As a GP you may elect to be paid via:
- a salary package ($211,927 to $296,805), or
- percentage-based remuneration (70% billings earning typically $2,000 to $2,500 per day)

The Position

An exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to undertake medical administration training as a RACMA Registrar, based in Katherine and serving the Big Rivers Region. While this is envisaged as a full-time role, part time would be considered. The successful candidate will be required to participate in the Senior Medical/ DMS on call roster. The appointee will be required to undergo a credentialing process and will be granted appropriate scope of clinical practice. There is a system of review and renewal of credentials and Scope of Clinical Practice for Specialists and Non-specialist Senior Medical Officers on staff. This is reviewed on a three-yearly basis.

Total package up to $543,581 p.a.

Visiting Medical Officer Cardiologist, Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital (TRRH)
Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is seeking a suitably qualified cardiologist to join a growing regional cardiology service. This role suits a clinician who can practise independently, contribute to a broad general cardiology workload, and help shape contemporary services across both inpatient and outpatient care. Mentoring opportunities are available for young consultants, and senior consultants are also welcome to apply.Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Cardiology), and/or overseas trained specialist pathways is an essential criteria for this position.
Applicants may bring a wide range of interests and procedural skills. Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous but not essential: coronary angiography and catheterisation, coronary intervention, transoesophageal echocardiography, cardiac implantable electronic device implantation, CT coronary angiography, and cardiac MRI. The position can be tailored to the successful applicant's scope of practice and development goals, with opportunities to consolidate existing skills and expand practice over time.
The successful applicant will participate in the cardiology and acute care roster, including on call responsibilities and weekend ward rounds as required. They will provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care for Tamworth and surrounding communities, with the option to deliver services through public outpatient clinics and or private consulting rooms. There are strong opportunities to develop a mixed public private practice, supported by an established referral base. You will join a collegial team of four local cardiologists, alongside a broad specialist workforce at TRRH. The service maintains close clinical links with tertiary Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery services in Newcastle, enabling shared care, streamlined referral pathways, and regular specialist-to-specialist collaboration.
The role includes a strong teaching and leadership component. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to mentor junior medical officers, including cardiology advanced trainees, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high standards of independent clinical practice.
Tamworth Hospital is a large rural referral and major trauma hospital that supports a substantial regional catchment. It has a 24 hour emergency department and a broad medical and surgical base, which creates consistent exposure to acute cardiology, perioperative medicine, and complex comorbidity.
For cardiology, the hospital has a Coronary Care Unit and ICU and is supported by an onsite cardiac catheterisation laboratory, enabling genuine acute coronary and procedural pathways within a regional setting. The CCL performs over 1000 procedures annually, with a dedicated 6bed recovery area adjacent to the Coronary Care Unit, supporting efficient patient flow and close day to day collaboration across the cardiac service.
The service sits within a wider network across Hunter New England, with established escalation and shared care links to tertiary services in Newcastle including John Hunter Hospital for cardiothoracic surgery and higher complexity cases.
Mandatory requirements of this role include:
Admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as determined and required by HNELHD
Attendance and availability during rostered work hours and whilst on call including clinical handover, clinical supervision, teaching and for emergency and routine care as determined and required by HNELHD
Provision of education and research as determined and required by HNELHD
1. A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Cardiology), and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
2. Evidence of being a medical expert, demonstrated by recent and comprehensive experience in Cardiology
3. Evidence of being a scholar, maintains medical professional development and has the ability to assist other staff, including trainees in the acquisition and development of knowledge.

Central Coast Local Health District offers an Integrated Training Program (ITP), for medical officers in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G), based at Gosford Hospital. The program satisfies the requirements of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), for Membership and Fellowship. This position involves general experience in labour ward management and gynaecology operating. Provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical environment in inpatients and outpatient areas in the public health organisation. The department also offers support and guidance for the completion of RANZCOG's Certificate of Women's Health (CWH).
Gosford Hospital is the principal referral hospital and trauma centre for the Central Coast, with over 500 inpatient beds and 24/7 access to the emergency department and operating theatres. A recent $368 million dollar redevelopment delivered a new emergency department, ICU, nuclear medicine facility, special care nursery and expanded medical imaging services.
Wyong Hospital is an acute major metropolitan hospital with over 300 beds providing inpatient, outpatient and emergency services to residents in the northern region of the Central Coast. A recent $200 million expansion delivered a new emergency department, ICU, paediatric unit, inpatient wards, theatres and expanded medical imaging services. Another development is the Wyong Women's Centre, due for completion at the end of 2024. This will provide more accommodation for antenatal and gynaecology outpatient clinics. - Holds MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner or holds general registration and substantial experience of at least 7 years of working as a senior medical officer in a regional or rural NSW emergency medicine department and meets Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements as a GP.
- Knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Competence in performing the range of minor urgent procedures commonly undertaken in a rural emergency department including Advanced Life Support and Trauma management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, and research and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.

About the RoleWe have two positions available in this role, and will consider full-time or part-time for the suitable candidates. In this role, based in Wangaratta, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Aged Care Assessment Program (ACAP). The focus of the role is to conduct assessments to work out whether an older person is eligible for government-subsidised aged care.
This role is classified under the Community Health Centre (Stand Alone Services) Social and Community Service Employees Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 (SACS) at Level 5 ($51-$53.31/hour + superannuation).
Skills & ExperienceTo thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline directly related to health, aged care or related specialist area. E.g. registered nurses, medical officers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social workers.
- Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or part of or eligible to be part of a relevant professional association.
- Minimum of one year demonstrated experience in Australia or overseas directly delivering services in aged care settings and/or to aged persons (such as geriatric evaluation, rehabilitation, palliative care, community nursing), including to people living with dementia.
- Current "MAC Learning" training modules and assessments, or willing to complete.
