About the Role:
Lyell McEwin Hospital is one of South Australia's busiest and most respected public hospitals, serving the growing communities of Adelaide's northern suburbs. If you're an intensive care clinician who finds genuine purpose in complex, high-acuity care, these roles offer the scope, collegiality, and public health mission to match your expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality clinical care to critically ill patients across the Lyell McEwin ICU, managing a diverse and clinically challenging case mix
- Contributing to multidisciplinary ward rounds, clinical decision-making, and care planning in collaboration with nursing, allied health, and specialist teams
- Supporting junior medical staff through supervision, teaching, and on-the-ground clinical mentorship
- Participating in rostered on-call and after-hours coverage as part of a supportive and well-resourced ICU team
What You Bring
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with no restrictions on practice
- Fellowship or advanced training in Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM or equivalent), or demonstrable progress toward fellowship
- Proven clinical experience managing complex, critically ill adult patients in an accredited ICU setting
- Strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice within a SA Health public hospital environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills suited to a high-pressure, team-based clinical environment
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the contract period through to 1 February 2030
As per the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2025, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Medical Practitioner will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships. An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Medical Practitioner within the Medical Emergency Response Team.

The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient- and family-centred care. This includes maintaining clear communication with clinicians across the organisation and with external medical practitioners, ensuring timely treatment planning, effective patient handover and transfer of care. A high standard of clinical documentation is expected, including appropriate use of the electronic medical record, role-based messaging and departmental databases. The Fellow will provide reliable and responsive on-call services, attending within thirty minutes of call or within a timeframe consistent with the needs of the specialty as approved by the facility.
The Fellow will contribute to an intellectual environment that supports high-quality medical research, applying evidence-based principles to clinical practice and participating in approved research and audit activities such as NSQIP and the ANZ Emergency Laparotomy Audit, while encouraging peers, registrars and resident medical officers to do likewise. They will organise and deliver education sessions, teach effectively at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and provide "on the job" training during ward rounds, clinics and operating sessions. Supervision and mentorship of medical students, junior medical staff and trainees is a core expectation, including regular teaching in line with HETI guidelines and participation in staff appraisal. Finally, the Fellow will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement by supporting a "no blame" culture and actively engaging in clinical governance, risk management, audit, peer review, morbidity and mortality meetings, adverse event monitoring, root cause analysis, and clinical practice improvement projects aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient care.

Essential Requirements:
1. Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) or equivalent as provided for in the Staff Specialists (State) Award/ Health Insurance Act 1997. Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency.
2. Sound clinical knowledge in emergency General Surgery demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position. Sub-specialty focus in an area of general surgery (especially colorectal, oesophago-gastric, hepatobiliary, hernia) advantageous
3. Demonstrated commitment to the maintenance and further development of skills applicable to General Surgery, including involvement in further education and quality assurance activities.
4. A commitment to the provision of teaching including medical, nursing and allied health professional staff.
5. Demonstrated commitment to research.

What you'll be doing
The CICADA Drug and Alcohol Staff Specialist position within the SCHN Department of Adolescent Medicine is responsible for assessment and management of children and adolescents presenting and referred to the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network CICADA Adolescent or Family Services. The position will provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary teams in these clinical areas at SCHN Westmead and Randwick, contribute to strategic planning, service development, teaching and research addressing parental substance use and/or adolescent drug and alcohol use. The staff specialist will work within a multidisciplinary model of care acknowledging the complex range of paediatric and adolescent health concerns, chronic conditions and psychosocial issues faced by children and adolescents affected by alcohol or other substance use.
CICADA Adolescent and Family Drug and Alcohol Services
The NSW CICADA Centre offers a lifespan approach to the Care and Intervention for Children and Adolescents affected by Drugs and Alcoholwithin the SCHN. The three clinical streams include; Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Service, Family Drug and Alcohol Service and Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Services. The Centre provides a statewide service and is based within the Department of Adolescent Medicine at both the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick. The Staff Specialist position provides specialist hospital drug and alcohol consult liaison, inpatient and outpatient assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department is seeking to recruit a General Practitioner (GP), Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) to support the weekly General Practitioner Shared Care (GPSC) antenatal clinic at Westmead Hospital. Appointment to this position is critical to maintaining and expanding the GPSC model of care, which provides pregnant women with the option of receiving high-quality, continuity-based antenatal care from a trusted General Practitioner within their local community.
The GPSC model plays a vital role in reducing demand for hospital-based outpatient appointments, improving access to care, and enhancing the patient experience through greater choice, continuity, and convenience. Continued investment in this model supports both service sustainability and the delivery of patient-centred maternity care across Western Sydney.
The role will:
• Assist in the antenatal care and care co-ordination of pregnant women allocated to the GPSC antenatal model of care. This is a low risk antenatal care model where visits are shared by a Woman’s GP and midwives and obstetricians at Westmead Hospital.
• Act as a liaison between GPs working within the program and Westmead Hospital midwives and obstetricians.
• Act as a liaison between WentWest and Westmead Hospital.
• Be responsible for co-ordination of the GP obstetric education program provided by WentWest and Westmead Hospital.
Essential Requirements
1.Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Diploma of the RANZCOG or Certificate of Women’s Health RANZCOG. Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency.
2.Sound clinical knowledge in Antenatal Care demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position

The Inpatient Unit provides care across a diverse range of presentations, including acute medical and surgical care, aged care and palliative care. Working in a small rural team means you will have the opportunity to develop broad clinical skills and provide holistic, person-centred care to patients and their families.
What you'll be doing
As the Registered Nurse in the Inpatient Unit, you will provide safe, effective and compassionate nursing care across a diverse patient population.
You will:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in a patient's clinical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and scope of practice.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, carers and members of the healthcare team.
- Work collaboratively with Visiting Medical Officers and utilise telehealth services to support patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
You will generally work alongside one to two Enrolled Nurses and report to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), with after-hours support provided by the In-Charge.

Essential Criteria
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Radiation Oncologist and/or overseas trained specialist pathway and NSW EPA Radiation Licenses: License S3 Use radioactive substances for radiation oncology; and License IA3 Use radiation apparatus for radiation oncology
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Radiation Oncology at the role delineation of the service. Experience in treating prostate, gynaecological and CNS would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time

About the Role
As the Complex Trauma Fellow with a special focus on pelvic and acetabular fractures, you will work under the guidance of the Head of Unit and senior orthopaedic consultants to provide advanced clinical care for complex trauma patients. Your role will encompass the day-to-day management of inpatients and outpatients, including emergency and elective cases, ensuring a high standard of care and contributing to the multidisciplinary management of severe musculoskeletal injuries.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will play a key role in supervising and mentoring Resident Medical Officers and Interns, supporting their professional development and contributing to the postgraduate teaching program. You will also take an active role in departmental research initiatives and quality improvement programs, including leading designated projects. This position provides an exceptional opportunity to further develop subspecialty skills in pelvic and acetabular trauma while contributing to teaching, research, and service excellence in a leading orthopaedic trauma centre.

You are a skilled and dedicated medical professional with a strong background in complex trauma care and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient outcomes. Your ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team is complemented by your advanced clinical skills and sound knowledge of hospital systems and practices.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with eligibility for registration with AHPRA.

Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is a busy regional referral facility providing acute and specialist healthcare services to Tamworth and the broader New England and Northwest communities.
The New Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program will provide you with the opportunity to gain broad clinical experience across medical, surgical and rehabilitation settings while being supported by experienced nursing and multidisciplinary teams, and becoming part of a close and supportive healthcare community.
About the role
As a New Graduate Enrolled Nurse, you will have the opportunity to consolidate your nursing knowledge and develop your clinical skills through planned rotations across a variety of inpatient environments.
You will work alongside Registered Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, Nurse Unit Managers, medical officers, allied health professionals and clinical educators who are committed to supporting you as you develop into a confident and capable Enrolled Nurse.
You will:
- Contribute to the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of individualised nursing care.
- Provide clinical care within your approved scope of practice.
- Administer medications in accordance with your endorsement and NSW Health policies and procedures.
- Recognise and escalate changes in a patient's condition and other safety concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Support admission, transfer, rehabilitation and discharge processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in clinical handover, education, evidence-based practice and quality improvement activities.
Your ward-specific knowledge, advanced clinical skills, familiarity with local systems and confidence managing competing priorities will develop throughout the program.
Essential requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse, or eligibility to obtain registration prior to commencement.

Essential Criteria
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Radiation Oncologist and/or overseas trained specialist pathway and NSW EPA Radiation Licenses: License S3 Use radioactive substances for radiation oncology; and License IA3 Use radiation apparatus for radiation oncology
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Radiation Oncology at the role delineation of the service. Experience in treating CNS, haematological and skin cancers would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
