Join our team as a Manual Handling Coordinator on a full-time basis, working across Monash Health hospitals and clinics. Coordinate, deliver and continuously improve manual handling training for clinical and non-clinical employees;

About the Role

About Us

Across 3 sites of Monash Health, Monash Newborn provides neonatal services to support over 9,000 births a year and is responsible for the provision of neonatal services for Monash Health within the Monash Children's Hospital Clayton, Dandenong and Casey campuses, functioning together as a single integrated service with a hierarchy of complexity. About 4,500 babies are born each year at Clayton to a selected high-risk maternity population, while lower risk mothers are managed at Dandenong and Casey Hospitals, which have about 2,500 births at each site each year respectively.

The neonatal nursery inMonash Children's Hospitalhas a combined neonatal intensive care and special care capacity of 64 cots. Supported by a comprehensive range of paediatric specialty services at Monash Children's, the neonatal service is able to provide the full range of medical and surgical care of the newborn with the exception only of ECMO and cardiac surgery.

Monash Newborn's neonatal nurseries on the Dandenong and Casey campuses currently have a total of 3 beds and 20 beds respectively.

About the Role

An opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Perioperative Liaison Nurse to join Monash Health's Elective Surgery Services (ESS) team on a Full Time Ongoing basis. This is a Monday - Friday role, typically 8:00am - 4:30pm, however is rostered according to operational requirements.

This role is central to delivering a contemporary elective surgery model of care, acting as the single point of contact for patients throughout their surgical journey. Monash Haematology is a dynamic academic department that integrates the best evidence base into routine patient care. It provides haematology care to a population of approximately 1.5 million, making it one of the largest services in Australia.

Key leadership areas in clinical care and research include:

a) Acute leukaemia and myelodysplastic syndromes;

b) Myeloproliferative neoplasms;

c) Lymphoma, myeloma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia;

About the Role

An opportunity to join a clinic focused on myeloid related diseases at the Cranbourne Community Hospital. This is one of two dedicated myeloid clinics in the service, treating high acuity patients with access to a cutting-edge clinical trial portfolio. The primary function of this role to participate on a weekly basis in the clinic on Monday afternoons with a case mix of patients with predominantly malignant haematological conditions. The focus of this clinic is myeloid related diseases (acute leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms and stem cell transplant consultation), including diagnosis, treatment and post-acute care. An understanding of haematologic disease, particularly myeloid disorders and related biology, investigation, treatment and clinical trials is essential. The appointee must contribute to regular functioning of the Haematology unit, including participation in multidisciplinary team meetings aligned with this clinic. The role also requires participation in scientific/translational research within the Monash Health and Translation Precinct (MHTP), the advanced trainee teaching program and other relevant unit and hospital educational and quality activities.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the Continence Service within Specialist Clinics. Based at Monash Health's Thomas Street, Dandenong and Kingston Centre, this role also offers the opportunity to travel to other Monash Health sites as required.

In this role you will play a key role in delivering best practice, patient centred care while working alongside Senior Clinician Physiotherapists and Stream/Team Leaders. This role offers the chance to:

• Provide specialist continence physiotherapy assessment, management, and treatment for clients through the Monash Health Community Continence Service
• Manage your own independent caseload with a focus on pelvic floor, bladder, and bowel dysfunction
• Monitor and evaluate client outcomes to ensure care meets both best practice standards and community expectations
• Develop, implement, and educate clients in individualised pelvic floor rehabilitation programmes
• Collaborate across services to build strong internal and external partnerships

The Continence Service is an outpatient service within the Specialist Clinics. We are a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of specialist clinicians passionate about continence management. As a member of the Monash Health continence service and broader teams, we are committed to working with you to become your professional best. We offer clinical education sessions, training on the job and career progression to enable you to further develop your clinical and leadership skills. Come and join a highly functioning multidisciplinary service that provides high quality evidence based care to one of Melbourne's fastest growing regions. The Health Independence Program funded continence service is an innovative multidisciplinary team who will welcome your fresh ideas and approaches. Working with one of the largest continence teams in Victoria you will have opportunities to work with and learn from a variety of health professionals including geriatricians, senior physiotherapists, clinical nurse consultants and a dietician in a supportive environment.

Monash Health is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists with an interest in joining its Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (OAMHWS), Mental Health Program, on a permanent basis. The Mental Health Program is one of the largest providers of clinical mental health services in Victoria. The successful candidates will work in a multidisciplinary team setting to provide the clinical leadership and vision needed to develop a strong recovery orientated practice in the care of older adults living with mental illness, including behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. Patients are referred from a variety of sources including the OAMHWS triage service, medical and surgical wards, residential care services, and emergency departments. Monash Health is committed to providing high quality of care to its patients in the program and this position would meet demands in the rapidly growing south east region of Melbourne.
