About the Role

The BreastScreen Radiologist is responsible for the provision of radiological services relating to screen reading and assessment clinic services at BreastScreen NSW Murrumbidgee and Southern NSW Local Health Districts, located in Wagga Wagga and Queanbeyan. The successful applicant will work closely with the Designated Radiologist, Clinical Coordinator, Consultant Surgeon and Pathologist to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care and maintain compliance with the National Accreditation Standards of BreastScreen Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in quality assurance activities as part of the BreastScreen program.
• Perform breast screening image reading and interpretation services.
• Provide assessment clinic services, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary BreastScreen team to maintain high-quality screening and assessment services.
