What you will bring to the role
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2 with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Enrolled Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as an Enrolled Nurse)
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Enrolled Nurse to join the Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine team at Tamworth Hospital. Our fast-paced department provides care to both inpatients and outpatients across a broad range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services. This is a great opportunity to develop your nursing skills in a specialised imaging environment.
You will:
•
Provide pre-, peri- and post-procedure nursing care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
- Monitor patients, assess changing clinical needs and respond appropriately to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, radiologists, radiographers, medical staff and the wider multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced imaging environment.
- Assist with nursing care across a broad range of services, including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine and PET scanning.
About you
We are looking for an adaptable, proactive and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse who enjoys working in a busy team environment and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.
You will demonstrate:

Requirements:
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA & Relevant qualification as an Enrolled Nurse.
Radiology experience is highly regarded but not essential. On-the-job training, mentorship and upskilling opportunities will be provided to support your transition into the imaging environment.

Bring your cytology expertise to life by screening and reporting gynaecological and non-gynaecological specimens, including cervical cytology, within your scope of practice.

About the role
Lead the Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) program across SVHS and affiliated services, providing clinical and professional leadership to support safe and sustainable medication practices, compliance with medication management standards, and alignment with SVHA and NSW Health priorities
Oversee the hospital medication formulary, including Individual Patient Use (IPU) approvals, formulary requests and reporting, and liaison with the State Formulary Committee and that all regulatory and legislative requirements are met.
Deliver Medication Use Evaluations and Quality Improvement activities, including monitoring and reporting on drug expenditure, and contribute to QUM research, education, promotional initiatives, bulletins and memos supporting safe and effective medication use
Coordinate the SVHN Drug and Therapeutics Committee (DTC) secretariat, including communicating DTC decisions, preparing reports and maintaining the Pharmacy Intranet, while providing QUM advice to clinicians, pharmacists and external organisations including the Ministry of Health and CEC
Be an active member of relevant committees and working parties and assist in the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures to ensure optimal medication management
About you
Registered pharmacist with AHPRA, with no conditions on scope of practice, and relevant post-registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills and experience. Availability for on-call and weekend work as required
Significant experience and demonstrated competence in clinical pharmacy services, with strong clinical judgement, expertise and commitment to ongoing professional development
Demonstrated experience in formulary management and Drug and Therapeutics Committee processes, including implementation of committee decisions and development and implementation of medication-related policies and procedures

What you'll be doing
The Aboriginal Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert nurse who provides leadership, advice and recommendations on nursing practice, ensuring safe and appropriate care. The role delivers high‑quality, culturally appropriate, person‑centred nursing care within a holistic framework aligned with NSW Health and NSLHD values.
The Aboriginal CNC develops and implements policy, guides practice improvement, contributes to education and research, and provides clinical supervision while acting as a role model in regular clinical practice within Aboriginal health.
The Aboriginal CNC delivers evidence‑based nursing care that supports safe, effective and culturally appropriate services for Aboriginal people with chronic disease.
The role will:
- Work within a multidisciplinary Aboriginal health team across NSLHD, supporting community‑based chronic disease services and strengthening links with NSLHD services, GPs, NGOs and Aboriginal Community Controlled Services.
- Advocate for clients and families, support informed decision‑making, coordinate care across NSLHD, and ensure follow‑up needs are met, including:
- 48‑hour follow‑up program
- Inpatient visits across NSLHD
- Leading community engagement projects and events
- Communicating respectfully in line with NSLHD CORE values
- Improve transitions from hospital to community care by formalising processes between Aboriginal‑specific services.
- Promote Primary Health Care principles using a Social Determinants of Health model.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal decent, identify as being Aboriginal and be accepted in the community as such. All applicants must supply a letter of Aboriginality signed under the common seal from a recognised incorporated Aboriginal Community Organisation such as a Land Council or Elders group, Aboriginal Medial Services. Exemption is claimed under Section 14D of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
- Registered with Authority to Practice with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). About the role
Working within the Midwifery Group Practice program, you will be providing continuity of care to women throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. Under the program, you will be allocated an agreed caseload of women per year from whom you, with support from your fellow midwives, will be providing 24 hour support.
In this role you'll work independently and manage your own workload and time and get to know the women you care for very well, providing a continuity of care and trust through their pregnancy and birth experience. You'll be responsible for the delivery of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal midwifery care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of interventions to facilitate women achieving 'towards normal birth' strategies and optimal birthing goals.
Focussed on the woman's individual needs, expectations and aspirations, you'll work at an advanced nursing level to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and are well supported in a collaborative work environment. Your role will be well supported by a Clinical Midwife Specialist Team Leader, and you will enjoy a collaborative work environment with close support from our district’s Clinical Midwife Educator and Clinical Midwife Consultants.

The Role

Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370. POWH offers an outpatient service and rural outreach service and provides more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care each year, including innovative virtual models of care. - Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with evidence of recent clinical experience and skills in relation to the position, and a strong commitment to maintaining professional competence.
- Demonstrated effective professional verbal and written communication within a diverse multidisciplinary team.

About the Intensive Care Service
RPA Intensive Care Service currently consists of four specialised clinical pods:
- Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
Providing specialist care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery, advance cardiac interventions and complex cardiovascular management.
- Neuroscience and Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU)
Delivering specialised care to patients with complex neurosurgical and neurological conditions, including stroke, neurovascular and cranial surgery patients.
- General Intensive Care Units (Blue and Green Intensive Care Unit)
Two general Intensive Care Units provide care for a broad range of critically ill medical and surgical patients, including transplantation, trauma, sepsis, respiratory failure and multi-organ dysfunction.
Working across these specialised pods provides nurses with exposure to a diverse and highly complex patient cohort while developing expertise across multiple critical care specialties.

Major ECMO Referral Centre
RPA ICU is on of NSW’s leading Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) centres, providing advance cardiac and respiratory support for critically ill patients.
Nurses have the opportunity to develop expertise within a high volume ECMO service and participate in the statewide ECMO referral and retrieval network, supporting critically ill patients and healthcare service across New South Wales.
