About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join a dynamic perioperative team and contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality care to patients throughout their surgical journey.
Working alongside Registered Nurses, surgeons, anaesthetists and the broader multidisciplinary team, you will gain valuable experience in the perioperative environment while being supported to develop your clinical skills and confidence. Whether you are an experienced theatre Enrolled Nurse or looking to develop your skills in perioperative nursing, you'll be supported by experienced clinicians who are committed to your professional development.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Enrolled Nurse within the Theatre team, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and within your scope of practice to provide safe, person-centred care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Supporting patients throughout their perioperative journey.
- Assisting with preparation of the operating theatre and equipment.
- Performing in the roles of Anaesthetic, PACU, Instrument and Circulating Registered Nurses as competence is achieved in roles.
- Assisting with patient positioning, transfers and preparation for procedures.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient theatre environment.
- Supporting infection prevention and control practices.
- Undertaking delegated clinical duties within your scope of practice.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Participating in education, competency development and quality improvement activities.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge across different surgical specialties and build a strong foundation in perioperative nursing practice.
About You

Be the first point of contact for GambleAware South Eastern Sydney, conducting intake, triage and assessment, developing care plans and delivering brief counselling interventions to identify and respond to client treatment needs
Coordinate client case allocation, referrals and appropriate support for people affected by gambling, including emergency care where required

- Lead complex assessments, investigations and care coordination.

You’ll bring:

What You Will Be Doing
Wingham Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient care for up to 16 patients, alongside outpatient and hydrotherapy services. As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to develop and support individual rehabilitation goals. You will provide high-quality nursing care while promoting recovery, independence and positive health outcomes.
You will utilise a broad range of clinical skills including care planning, medication management, wound care, clinical documentation and patient safety initiatives such as falls prevention, pressure injury management and manual handling practices. Working alongside Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing, you will contribute to the day-to-day operation of the unit and provide leadership and coordination of the facility during after-hours shifts. This role requires a confident clinician with sound clinical judgement who can assess, prioritise and respond appropriately to changing patient conditions while working collaboratively with available escalation pathways.
About you
You are an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a collaborative rehabilitation environment where holistic, person-centred care is the priority. You thrive on building meaningful relationships with patients, supporting them through recovery and celebrating their progress.
Our ideal candidate will have recent acute or sub-acute nursing experience within an Australian hospital and be confident working independently. Given there is no onsite after-hours support, you will demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills, sound decision-making, and the ability to safely manage patient care and lead the team during after-hours shifts.

About the role
- The Clinical Research Coordinator/Registered Nurse (Clinical Research) is responsible for the coordination and delivery of high-quality, patient-centred clinical trials within The Kinghorn Cancer Centre.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary research and clinical team, the role supports the safe and effective conduct of research in accordance with study protocols, ICH-GCP, Australian regulatory requirements and privacy legislation.
- Key responsibilities include participant screening and recruitment, coordination of study visits and trial schedules, patient and staff education, clinical trial data collection and management, biological sample coordination, monitoring visits, and responding to data queries within required timelines.
- The role maintains effective communication with patients, families, healthcare professionals, sponsors and research partners, while contributing to quality improvement, research capacity and access to innovative therapies.
For the Registered Nurse (Clinical Research): the role additionally provides evidence-based nursing care to clinical trial participants, including clinical assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation, clinical decision-making, care coordination, referrals and appropriate delegation within scope of practice.
About you- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency OR
- Holds or working towards relevant tertiary qualifications in clinical research and clinical trials or equivalent relevant work experience OR a combination of relevant work experience and study.
- Demonstrated leadership ability working in a team and ability to use own initiative
- Experience with secure data management, participant trial data collection, participant organisational skills, ability to rapidly master new concepts and skills and detailed knowledge of HREC and RGO submissions
- Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse in clinical trials that includes the integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking, data analysis and research principles including Good Clinical Practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in Oncology, Haematology and/or Research using effective communication and interpersonal skills

The Role

Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370. Each year we care for more than 70,000 patients in our Emergency Department and have around 50,000 admissions to the inpatient units. POWH offers an outpatient service and rural outreach service and provides more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care each year, including innovative virtual models of care. We have transitioned the majority of inpatient units and wards to the Acute Services Building (ASB) including a state of the art Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. About the Opportunity

- Removal of superficial or asymptomatic callus and debris from interdigital areas
