About headspaceheadspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples' wellbeing. This covers core areas including mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services. Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is the lead agency for headspace (Wonthaggi), which is governed by a consortium of local community organisations who provide expertise, support and advice to RAV.
About the roleReporting to the Centre Manager, your responsibilities include working within a multidisciplinary team to meet client needs in an evidence-based, outcomes-focused manner. You are responsible for engaging with young people and families, conducting assessments, and developing collaborative care plans. Responsibilities include delivering interventions, responding to risks, supporting intake and referrals and working with stakeholders to provide youth-friendly care in accordance with the headspace model.
This role is located at Wonthaggi and is a part-time ongoing role, working four (4) days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with Tuesday evening shift. The base salary range is $101,948 - $109,287 (pro-rata) per annum.
About you- Tertiary qualification in allied health discipline (e.g. social work, psychology, mental health nursing, or occupational therapy) with current AHPRA registration or AASW membership.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in youth and/or mental health, including intake, risk assessment, and interventions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage young people and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Must have Victorian Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle

About the roleReporting to the Centre Manager, headspace Bairnsdale and headspace Sale, the Assistant Manager supports the effective operation and service delivery of both Centres. This involves supporting staff performance and development, day-to-day operations and stakeholder engagement, with responsibility for contributing to high-quality, integrated and outcomes-focused services that meet the needs of young people. The role will also act as Centre Manager during periods of absence and contribute to policy development and tender applications.
This role is located at headspace Sale and is part-time temporary role (0.8EFT) until June 2027, working four (4) days per week. The base salary range is $130,937 - $134,628 (pro-rata) per annum.
About you- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Social Science etc, and demonstrated experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, with strong people management and change management skills.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to support effective service delivery, innovation and continuous improvement.
- A current Victorian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, with a commitment to working with young people and contributing to positive outcomes for the community.
