The Clinical Nurse Consultant provides expert clinical advice to patients/clients, carers and other health care professionals with complex healthcare needs within Wollongong Hospital's cardiology service. The Department of Perfusion at Bayside Health Alfred provides a comprehensive and state-of-the-art Perfusion Service in the treatment of cardiac and respiratory diseases, working in close collaboration with the relevant services within the Directorate of Alfred Heart & Lung (Department of Cardiothoracic & Transplantation, Department of Cardiology and Department of Respiratory Medicine) as well as with the Intensive Care and Emergency Departments. Position SummaryTo provide and be responsible for the conduct of total body perfusion and its associated life support techniques within the Cardiac Services, Alfred Hospital. A Clinical Perfusionist is a qualified person who is appropriately trained and experienced in the Physiology, Pharmacology, Technology and operation of extracorporeal perfusion equipment in any medical situation where it is necessary to support or temporarily replace a patients' cardiopulmonary or circulatory function.
Qualifications and Experience Required- Eligibility for membership of Australia New Zealand College of Perfusionists requires a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science, or recognised equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team in an often-challenging environment, exhibiting initiative, strength of character, and facilitative qualities.

Team Manager, Child Protection roles in Wimmera South West Area:
The Child Protection Team Manager is responsible for effective service delivery, managing resources and budget, cases awaiting allocation and small teams of practitioners. The Team Manager has the formal delegation to endorse and review case plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified timeframes. The position will work collaboratively with the Senior Child Protection Practitioners to strengthen case practice, provide effective service delivery and to support other practitioners.
The transportation of children is a requirement of this role, as such a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel, including in country regions is essential. About the Far West LHD
The Far West Local Health District is one of 15 LHDs under NSW Health, providing high quality public health services to the communities in far west NSW Our vision is to create excellence in rural and remote healthcare.
Key to our success of course, is our people. Our workforce is inclusive and diverse. We employ well over 800 clinicians and support staff across our 9 health facilities in Broken Hill, Balranald, Dareton, Ivanhoe, Menindee, Tibooburra, Wentworth, White Cliffs and Wilcannia.
