$2,200 to $2,800 per day dependant on experience, registration and qualifications
- The health service provides a range of specialist community, in-patient and call centre based mental health services for people living in the South West. The Inpatient Unit consists of 30 beds, with 23 beds located on the open ward (Acute Psychiatric Unit), and 7 beds on the secured ward (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit).
- A paradise for foodies, with a rich culinary scene that showcases the best of local produce and wine. You can savour the flavours of the region at award-winning restaurants, cafes, wineries, breweries, and farmers’ markets. You can also meet the friendly locals who will make you feel welcome and share their stories and tips.
- Travel expenses paid up to $1500, accommodation provided and car hire if required up to $60 per day

A Western VIC GP practice requires a Specialist in General Practice from 15/01/2024 (ongoing arrangement)
Looking for 2-3 VRGP’s to work between 1 and 3 days per week in a small, 29 bed, inpatient Drug and Alcohol (AOD) hospital in Geelong ongoing.
- Hourly rate or 70% of billings if preferred
- 8-hour shifts worked between 8am and 5pm (flexible start time, will consider finish time of 6pm if better suited to GP),
- Monday to Friday, no weekend sessions
- Tasks include:
• Hospital medical admissions – Admission template provided
• Small ward round (approximately 6-8 patients per day) accompanied by a nurse.
• Mental Health Care Plans
• GP reviews eg. Minor medical issues, Discussing results; all medical requests are triaged by nursing staff before being booked with GP.
• Admin work includes completion of discharge summaries (template provided), DVA, Acute Care and Centrelink Certificates to reflect hospital stay.

About the Role
Seeking Perioperative Recovery experienced Registered Nurse classified at this level to provide nursing services within the Perioperative Services at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Employees working within this level developed from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice. They consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience. An employee at this level accepts accountability for his or her own standards of nursing/midwifery care and for activities delegated to others.
Essential Requirements/Abilities/Aptitudes/Skills:
Experience within the Perioperative Recovery areas (minimum 3-4 yrs)
Good communication skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Good time management skills
Work experience within a Tertiary hospital environment

Join the team at Streaky Bay MPS as a Casual Assistant in Nursing. This is your chance to make a real difference in patient care while working in an inclusive, dynamic healthcare setting.
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses, providing vital support in delivering high-quality care to patients. Your role will involve assisting with personal care duties, supporting nursing procedures, cleaning equipment, and ensuring the smooth management of stock levels. You’ll help create a safe and caring environment, offering compassionate support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient personal care and routine nursing tasks.
- Support nursing procedures and maintain equipment.
- Help manage local stock levels and ensure cleanliness.
- Alert Registered Nurses to patient or visitor concerns.
- Work under the supervision of Registered and Enrolled Nurses to ensure optimal care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate nursing or midwifery program or be employed on the basis that you will be undertaking a course approved by the Registration Authority for the preparation of Enrolled Nurses or hold Certificate III or IV in Basic Health Care, Aged Care, Health Services Assistance, Home and Community Care, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience in nursing care within a healthcare setting
