About the role
- Keep clinics running smoothly: Provide high-quality administrative support across the Medicine Hub and Outpatient Clinics, helping clinicians and teams deliver a seamless patient experience.
- Be the connection between patients and clinicians: Coordinate appointments, respond to enquiries and manage communication to ensure patients receive accurate and timely information.
- Keep things organised and on track: Manage a range of administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, scanning, data entry and responding to clinician requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solve problems and stay proactive: Identify issues, manage competing priorities and escalate matters appropriately to the Practice Manager to keep clinic operations running efficiently.
- Be part of a collaborative team: Work closely with medical, clinical and administrative teams across the Medicine Hub, contributing to a positive, supportive and patient-focused environment.
About you
- Medical administration experience: You have experience in medical administration, healthcare administration or a similar environment, with an understanding of clinic operations and patient-focused service.
- Confident and capable: You’re comfortable supporting clinicians, managing competing priorities and handling a busy workload while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- A great communicator: You communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, clinicians and colleagues and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patient-focused and proactive: You take pride in providing a positive patient experience, managing expectations and looking for ways to make processes easier and more efficient.
- Organised and detail-focused: You have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a dynamic team

Become part of a dynamic dental team based within the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital Dental Cluster – part of the Southern and Murrumbidgee Oral Health Clinical Network.
The Oral Health Clinical Network provides dental services to eligible people across multiple sites in community based dental clinics. The clinical team within the MLHD comprises Dental assistants, Dental therapists, Oral Health Therapists, Dentists, Oral Surgeons, and Paediatric specialist dentists.
The Dental clinic at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital campus is located in the Health Services Hub and it is a modern clinical environment that provides access to both general and specialist services including dental services delivered under general anaesthetic and complex restorative care. The clinic also hosts dental students for clinical placements and registrars in dental specialist training.

Selection Criteria
- Current registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A minimum of two years post-graduate experience in the practice of dentistry and a demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgment.
- Successful completion of the Dental Officers Skills Assessment set by the Centre for Oral Health Strategy. This applies to Dental Officers progressing from Level 1 to Level 2.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventive / population health approach to patient care.
- Willingness to participate in quality improvement activities and participate in clinical research activities as required.

The Role

Selection Criteria

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Registered Midwife to join the Lactation Team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Working as part of the multidisciplinary maternity team, you will provide evidence-based breastfeeding and lactation support to women and families across the maternity service. You will support women to establish and maintain breastfeeding, provide individualised education and clinical assessment, and contribute to a positive and empowering experience for families during the transition to parenthood.
You will also support the operational effectiveness of the postnatal service, helping to facilitate timely breastfeeding support, bed flow and discharges from the postnatal ward, ensuring women and families receive the specialist support they require while enabling appropriate progression through their hospital journey.
This role is an opportunity for a midwife that holds International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification and does not have experience working in the Lactation Specialist role. The successful applicant will be provided with lactation and breastfeeding support to further develop their specialist knowledge and skills.

About You
You are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred palliative care. You bring demonstrated clinical expertise and sound nursing knowledge within palliative care settings, using advanced assessment, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills to support patients and families through complex health journeys with dignity and respect.
You excel in coordinating and planning care within multidisciplinary teams, utilising Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC) principles to deliver outcome-focused care that meets the unique needs of each patient. Your ability to lead, organise, and manage competing priorities enables you to support efficient service delivery while maintaining a compassionate focus on patient and family wellbeing.
A confident communicator, you build trusting relationships through effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and technological communication skills. You are comfortable engaging in meaningful and sensitive conversations regarding palliative care, advance care planning, and end-of-life issues, providing support, education, and reassurance to patients, families, and caregivers during challenging times.
Committed to ongoing professional development, you currently hold, are enrolled in, or are willing to undertake postgraduate studies in palliative care to further enhance your specialist knowledge and clinical practice. Adaptable and dedicated, you are accustomed to working within a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and night duty, ensuring the provision of continuous, high-quality care when it is needed most.
