As an Assistant Retail Supervisor, you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered, contributing to the meaningful work of Queensland’s leading charity retail brand. Everyday our 120 stores across Queensland sell donated goods, giving pre-loved items a second life and bringing in profit to support our Crisis Support Line and suicide prevention services.

Your part in our Lifeline team
Along with your passion for your local community and leading a store that provides great customer service you will:
- Demonstrate a passion for Lifeline and its purpose, promoting its service and value to the community through personal actions, behaviours, practices and outcomes
- Support the Retail Supervisor in all aspects of a retail operation and delegate responsibilities where appropriate to ensure sound business practices are adhered to and sales targets are achieved
- Work with staff and volunteers to review and monitor pricing, visual merchandising, promotional events and selling techniques to ensure that profitability is maintained and improved
- Maintain effective communication channels within direct team, regional support functions and external stakeholders and provide assistance to team members in handling customer complaints / enquiries.
- Identify issues and opportunities based on selling and customer feedback
- Set objectives and prioritise tasks, ensuring objectives are tied to overall business strategy
- Coach and develop direct reports daily, ensuring development goals are linked to business objectives and improved performance
What makes a difference for us
To be successful for this role you will need to be/have:
- Be passionate about Lifeline and be able to articulate its purpose
- Demonstrated experience in retail management (or hospitality management), including experience in coaching and mentoring people
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service and exceed customer expectations
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and eagerness to learn the fundamentals of all store roles, including but not limited to customer service, visual presentation, online marketing and stock control
- Create a values driven, diverse and safe employment environment that attracts, engages and retains skilled employees and volunteers

- Identify issues and opportunities based on trends and customer feedback
- Setting and exceeding priorities to meet daily deadlines; developing plans to meet short-term objectives

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team
Our team of allied health professionals assist patients through a variety of admitted programs and outpatient services to achieve the best possible outcomes in their rehabilitation and recovery. Our team includes Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers and Dietitians. We offer a wide variety of services including Women’s and Men’s Health, Outpatient, Rehabilitation and Persistent Pain.
Joining our Allied Health team as a Physiotherapist, you will work with patients to maximise their physical potential and restore movement and function, providing treatment integral to recovery from surgery, illness and injury.
With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients within an acute setting, you’ll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation; bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care.

Your part in our UnitingCare team
We are seeking a skilled, knowledgeable passionate and experienced Child Counsellor to work in our Supporting Children After Separation Service within our Family Law Services suite of services in Chermside.
This position has a primary focus of working with children and young people and providing specialised counselling to children, young people who are experiencing impacts from parental separation and high conflict including domestic and family violence.
You will provide a range of high-quality age-appropriate interventions including assessment; individual and group counselling; and psycho-education and therapeutic supports to children and young people (under 18 years) who are experiencing difficulties related to family relationships and changes in family structure.
The position also plays a key role in connecting children and their families with other relevant services through effective referrals and collaborations.
What makes a difference for us?
- Tertiary qualifications (minimum Bachelor) in a relevant human services field, with membership or eligible membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g. AASW, APS, PACFA Member Association) preferred and significant relevant experience
- Excellent counselling, therapeutic and interpersonal skills including knowledge of evidence based therapeutic interventions
- Demonstrated assessment skills, including therapeutic assessment, crisis intervention, risk assessment and safety planning.
- An understanding of the impact of trauma on children and young people and the components of working within a child protection framework.

Your Role
The Nurse Manager – Administration Services provides strategic and operational leadership for administrative and support services within the clinical environment, ensuring efficient, patient-centred service delivery.
The role oversees administrative teams, manages workflow, resources, and service performance, and works collaboratively with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with organisational policies, improving operational processes, and maintaining effective communication across departments to enhance patient experience and service outcomes.
The Position
- Monitor service standards against benchmarks (clinical indicators, incidents, satisfaction results) and implement improvements where needed.
- Support ACHS accreditation, regulatory assessments, and quality and clinical risk management programs.

Position Requirements
You will hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive, patient-centred culture and effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
Candidates will also demonstrate sound analytical, problem-solving, and change management capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities and risks. Well-developed computer literacy is essential, and relevant postgraduate qualifications are desirable.

The Health Professional Councils Authority plays a vital role in protecting the public by managing complaints and concerns about nursing and midwifery practitioners. We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking nursing or midwifery leader to join us as Principal Nursing and Midwifery Officer, Complaints and Risk. What you'll be doing
The Clinical Nurse Educator will be guided by the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant in leading, developing, co-ordinated and implementing all structured learning for nurses within NSLHD.
The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide clinical teaching, orientation, skill accreditation and professional development support for all nursing staff and students.
The Clinical Nurse Educator will have a role in the provision of hospital orientation and mandatory training. They will also be expected to teach in courses appropriate to nursing within and at facilities external to NSLHD.
The Clinical Nurse Educator will participate in the development and teaching of the NSLHD Nursing Professional Development Program (this includes travelling to other sites within the LHD for lecturing and facilitation of workshops).

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Holds AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse AND holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.

- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to practice safe nursing care and knowledge of policies and clinical practice guidelines.

The Role
As a Clinical Nurse Educator in SESLHD you will deliver and evaluate clinical education programs to Intensive Care Unit within Prince of Wales Hospital
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide for the delivery of clinical nurse/midwife education, and perform the following:
- Deliver competent nursing education in ICU
- Contribute to the development of colleagues and identify learning needs
- Support less experienced staff and acts as preceptor for new staff (when delegated this function)
- Support the orientation of new staff to ICU
- Provide day to day clinical education support and clinical supervision at the point of care
- Provide 1:1 informal education
- Provide support for skill development in clinical procedures, professional development, clinical policy
development and an in-service program for ICU - Implement and evaluate education programs
You will be recognised as a healthcare professional employing your clinical skills and critical thinking in delivering high quality patient care. You will exercise extended autonomy of decision making and professional knowledge and judgement in providing complex care requiring advanced clinical skills.
You will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team in the provision of person-centred care; and lead, support and supervise other nurses/ midwives and care roles. You will strive to ensure that the people who receive healthcare experience exceptional care that is person-centred, safe, high quality and compassionate.

Where you'll be working
Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370. Each year we care for more than 70,000 patients in our Emergency Department and have around 50,000 admissions to the inpatient units. POWH offers an outpatient service and rural outreach service and provides more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care each year, including innovative virtual models of care. We have transitioned the majority of inpatient units and wards to the Acute Services Building (ASB) including a state of the art Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Selection Criteria

The Role
The CNE provides coordination, delivery and evaluation of clinical nurse education (including programs) at the ward/unit level. Such education may include orientation and/or transitioning for new nursing staff, undergraduate and casual nurses as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role focused on developing our emerging nursing workforce, supporting new graduates and trainees as they build their confidence, knowledge and clinical skills.
You’ll support programs as our workforce and programs continue to grow. You’ll work alongside an experienced team and receive a structured orientation and crossover with the current staff member to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
You’ll also have the support of the broader team to help shape and coordinate the programs, with the opportunity to contribute ideas and help strengthen our approach to education, development and support. Our GradStart program has continued to grow over recent years, and this role will be instrumental in maintaining that growth while ensuring our new graduates and trainees feel supported, connected and confident as they begin their nursing careers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you’ll be responsible for the coordination and ongoing development of our new graduate and trainee programs, providing education, guidance and support throughout their transition into the workforce.
You will:
- Coordinate the GradStart RN, EN and SBT programs.
- Coordinate orientation, clinical rotations and study days.
- Support the planning and delivery of education and professional development activities.
- Monitor the achievement of clinical objectives and support staff to meet learning outcomes.
- Undertake competency assessments and provide constructive feedback to support clinical development.
- Provide education and guidance as new graduates and trainees develop their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Act as a key support and wellbeing point of contact for participants throughout their program.
- Identify learning needs and work with staff to develop their confidence and capability.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and educators to ensure participants receive a positive and consistent learning experience.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the programs as they continue to grow.
- Support a positive learning environment that encourages questions, reflection, confidence and professional growth.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced nursing professional who is passionate about education, development and supporting nurses as they transition into practice.
You will bring:
- Experience working as a Clinical Nurse Educator, or leadership experience deemed equivalent.
- Strong clinical knowledge and demonstrated commitment to developing nursing capability.
- Experience supporting new graduates, trainees or developing clinicians.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and competing priorities.
- A supportive, approachable and encouraging leadership style.
- The ability to provide constructive feedback, undertake competency assessments and support individual learning needs.

The Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) Patient Flow Unit is seeking a suitably experienced Registered Nurse to join their team in the role of the Capacity Co-ordinator. This exciting opportunity offers a part time position, working across a 7 day week until April 2027.
The Patient Flow Unit is located within Nursing and Midwifery Operations at Royal North Shore Hospital. The team includes the Patient Flow Manager, Bed Managers and Deputy Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
