About the Role
Join CALHN as a Lung Cancer Respiratory Nurse Consultant and play a key role in coordinating expert, person-centred care for people with lung cancer. You’ll guide patients throughout their treatment journey, provide specialist clinical leadership and connect multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, evidence-based care.
- Coordinate care, support and advice across the treatment journey
- Deliver expert clinical care, education and symptom support

About You
You are an experienced and collaborative nurse who brings advanced respiratory and oncology expertise, strong leadership and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care. To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold current registration as a Nurse with NMBA
- Bring strong oncology and respiratory nursing experience
- Demonstrate expert respiratory nursing practice
- Lead teams with strong communication and problem-solving skills

About the opportunity
Join a passionate and supportive Learning and Development team dedicated to developing the next generation of mental health nurses. Working across inpatient, residential and community services, you'll play a key role in shaping a skilled, confident and compassionate workforce while making a meaningful impact on consumer care.
In this role you will:
- Provide practical, hands-on clinical education, supervision and support to Early Career Graduate and Post Graduate Nursing staff, developing the knowledge, skills and confidence required to deliver high-quality mental health care.
- Design, coordinate and deliver education and professional development activities that meet the needs of all staff working across inpatient, residential and community mental health services.
- Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, leading evidence-based education, fostering recovery-oriented practice and contributing to the recruitment, development and retention of the future mental health workforce.

About the Role
Join our catering team and help deliver a high-quality food and beverage service. You’ll support daily operations, assist with training, and ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage ingredients, stores and service areas
- Assist with training new team members
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the service
- Serve patient meals in accordance with dietary requirements and deliver trollies to wards
- Collect trollies, wash dishes, general cleaning and set up kitchen ready for next meal service

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team
As the Lead Administration Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the team in our Emergency Centre department, providing a tailored service through administrative support, whilst providing an exceptional level of customer service.
Our Emergency Centre Receptionists provide an efficient, effective, professional and client focused administration support in our Emergency Departments and participate in a 24/7 roster system. They facilitate service delivery and administration support to our Medical Officers, Nursing, Allied Health staff and Patients. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring that administrative procedures are followed efficiently. This role is also responsible for the quality of the preadmission and admission for patients admitting from the Emergency Centre to the hospital – this includes but not limited to Insured, Self-Funded, WorkCover, Third Party and Maternity patients.

In this role, you will:
Facilitate inclusive group and 1:1 wellness activities that support residents’ physical, emotional, social and cognitive wellbeing:
- Build respectful relationships with residents, encouraging independence, dignity, choice and participation through meaningful engagement, companionship and emotional support
- Collaborate with care staff, clinical teams, families, volunteers, the Wellness Lead and Home Services Lead to ensure programs align with resident needs

- Seek resident and family input to improve programs, contribute ideas in meetings, and help embed HELF Services into everyday home operations
- Complete lifestyle assessments (with supervision), maintain accurate records, and observe and report changes in resident wellbeing in line with escalation processes
- Prepare, organise and maintain activity spaces, materials and equipment to ensure safe, welcoming and hazard‑free environments
- Follow organisational policies (manual handling, WHS, IPC, emergency procedures) and contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and observations

Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary Qualifications in Nursing, Social Work or Clinical Psychology with current registration to practice with AHPRA and/or eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association. For Clinical Psychology, a minimum Masters or PHD and endorsement in clinical psychology is required.

Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370. Each year we care for more than 70,000 patients in our Emergency Department and have around 50,000 admissions to the inpatient units. POWH offers an outpatient service and rural outreach service and provides more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care each year, including innovative virtual models of care. We have transitioned the majority of inpatient units and wards to the Acute Services Building (ASB) including a state of the art Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Selection Criteria
