- We are looking for CASUAL receptionist with good availability/flexibility
- Work hours are between Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm and Saturday/Sunday 8.30 am - 3.00 pm
- Relevant experience in a similar role performing reception duties in a friendly and courteous manner to a broad population (elderly people, their carers and families desirable) and professional staff.
- Experience of administrative functions including telephone enquiries, maintaining and ordering stationery / office equipment, maintaining confidential records in an orderly system, management of petty cash, and involvement in marketing activities for prospective residents, including facility tours.
- Working closely with rostering team and administration team.
- High level of customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to use computerised clinical management software such as Autumn Care, People Point, etc
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

As a Child and Family Remote Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children and families in rural and remote communities through our Remote Area Families Service (RAFS). Based in Longreach, you’ll provide mobile services that strengthen family wellbeing and support children’s learning and development.
You’ll travel to remote communities to build meaningful relationships with children, families and local stakeholders. You’ll deliver evidence-based programs that promote child development and family wellbeing, helping children prepare for learning and life. You’ll deliver mobile early childhood development and family support programs for children from birth to 12 years and their families. This includes facilitating playgroups, workshops and community education; connecting families with information, advice and referral pathways; maintaining accurate case records; and building trusted relationships with communities and local stakeholders.
Approximately 60% of your working hours will involve travel and overnight stays in rural and remote locations.

As the NP/TNP within PACSS, you will provide expert palliative care to older people residing in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) across the Northern Beaches catchment.
Working collaboratively with the NSLHD Specialist Palliative Care Service, Beaches Rapid Access Care of the Elderly (BRACE), General Practitioners, and HammondCare Palliative Care, you will:
- Deliver advanced clinical assessment, care planning, and evidence-based interventions.
- Support coordinated, person-centred care aligned with NSW Health End of Life and Palliative Care Frameworks.
- Facilitate timely and appropriate transitions to end-of-life care.
- Promote advance care planning and optimizing symptom management.
- Providing support and coordinating of care for people approaching the end of life in RACFs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level clinical expertise in advanced palliative care nursing.
- Lead and support innovative models of care to those patients and their families in their transition to end of life care.

'Clinical Nurse Specialist/Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2" means: a Registered Nurse/Midwife appointed to a position classified as such with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 classification encompasses the Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 1 role criteria and is distinguished from a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 1 by the following additional role characteristics:
- Exercises extended autonomy of decision making.
- Exercises professional knowledge and judgement in providing complex care requiring advanced clinical skills and undertakes one of the following roles:
- leadership in the development of nursing specialty clinical practice and service delivery in the ward/unit/service or;
- specialist clinical practice across a small or medium sized health facility/sector/service; or
- primary case management of a complete episode of care; or
- primary case management of a continuum of specialty care involving both inpatient and community based services or;
- an authorised extended role within the scope of Registered Nurse practice.
Incremental progression to the second year and thereafter rate will be upon completion of 12 months satisfactory full-time service (or pro rata part time service).
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Relevant post graduate qualifications in Infection Prevention and Control and at least 3 years recent experience working in Infection Prevention and Control, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem solve through the development and use of clinical management plans.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.

The Mental Health Clinical Nurse Consultant, Grade 1 (CNC1) provides an expert mental health assessment and initial intervention service to individuals of all ages presenting to the Emergency Department (ED) at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH).
The CNC will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive mental health assessment for persons presenting to the RNSH ED who are experiencing mental health issues, The CNC, in partnership with the ED staff and relevant mental health staff will determine a plan of care which may be discharge back to the community with clearly documented and communicated follow up or facilitate an admission to the mental health inpatient unit.
This position will be responsible for the management of patient flow for mental health in the ED and proactively assist with ensuring that Emergency Treatment Performance (ETP) Targets are met.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant will promote a mental health nursing service that fosters excellence in clinical, educational and professional leadership, both within ED and the Mental Health Inpatient Units, The Clinical Nurse Consultant contributes to quality health care by collaborating with health care providers, consumer groups, and other community services by developing clinical practice and family orientated standards in emergency and acute mental health care.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant will demonstrate a high knowledge of quality improvement principles, EEO and WH&S requirements.

Tamworth Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Supported Introduction to Cardiac Care Program, providing a structured and supportive pathway for Registered Nurses to develop their knowledge, clinical skills and confidence in cardiac care.
As a participant, you will spend six months in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) and six months in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (CCL), gaining valuable experience across both inpatient and procedural cardiac care. The position reports to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the CCU and Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, with day-to-day support and clinical guidance provided by the experienced CCU and CCL nursing teams.
Across the 12-month program, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide nursing care to patients before and after angiography, following pacemaker insertion and experiencing cardiac arrhythmias.
- Develop knowledge and skills within the cardiac catheterisation environment.
- Gain experience in angiography, PCI, TOEs and pacemaker insertion.
- Develop clinical competence and confidence across a range of cardiac nursing skills.
- Work closely with experienced cardiac nurses, medical staff and the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in ongoing education, professional development and reflective practice.
You will work part-time or full-time rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights and weekends, as applicable to the clinical area.

Shellharbour Hospital is a busy acute care facility which provides emergency services, elective surgical services, general medicine, antenatal and primary family health care, satellite renal dialysis, and adolescent and adult mental health services on site. Selection Criteria:
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.

Where you'll be working
The Interventional Suite accommodates adult & paediatrics patients, for planned & unplanned procedures &/or surgery. It comprises: 14 state-of-the-art operating theatres including a hybrid theatre & a cardiothoracic theatre; 2 Cardiac Catheter Labs; 4 Procedure Rooms; 41 bed Recovery Unit; and state of the art Sterilizing Services Department.
What you'll be doing
As an anaesthetic nurse at Northern Beaches Hospital, you can expect to work closely with anaesthetists to prepare patients for procedures, assist during induction and maintenance of anaesthesia, and monitor patient safety throughout surgery. The role involves managing specialised equipment, responding quickly to changes in patient condition, and supporting recovery in the post-anaesthesia care unit. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced perioperative environment, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome. ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient comfort.
You will support a culture of continuous learning, teamwork and innovation, and contributes to service excellence through participation in quality improvement initiatives, education, research and accreditation activities, while maintaining professional competency standards and compliance with NSW Health and NSLHD policies and procedures.
