About the role
Join our pharmacy team in Port Pirie and make a meaningful difference to patient care through high quality, comprehensive medication management. As a Pharmacist, you will provide professional, dispensing, clinical, production and counselling services for inpatients and outpatients, helping optimise drug therapy and achieve safe, effective and cost efficient use of medicines.
Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide trusted medication and therapeutic advice to medical, nursing and other health professionals. About the role
Lead clinical pharmacy practice and make a meaningful difference as a Senior Pharmacist (AHP3) with Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. Enjoy diverse clinical experience, professional autonomy and the opportunity to shape pharmacy services in a welcoming regional community.

About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a registered pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Bring advanced clinical pharmacy experience across hospital services
- Demonstrate leadership and ability to coordinate a service area
- Apply sound judgement to complex clinical and medication issues
- Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams

Early career Occupational Therapist role at Flinders Medical Centre, full-time contract with SALHN through to December 2027, open to final year students graduating later this year and Occupational Therapists with less than 12 months experience.
About the role:
The Early Career Occupational Therapist - Rotational (AHP1) is accountable to the Manager (Occupational Therapy) for the provision assessment and treatment services for adult inpatients and outpatients of the SALHN, which aim to optimise health outcomes. The incumbent will rotate though a series of acute clinical services.
- Use a competent level of professional knowledge and skill to provide assessment, interpret findings and plan and implement intervention in collaboration with patients, carers and other health professionals.
- Seek guidance and supervision from experienced staff when more complex problem solving, professional decision making and practice skills are required.
- Ensure documentation is consistent with service policy and practice.
- Undertake comprehensive discharge planning in conjunction with other team members
- Provide effective coordinated inter-disciplinary care by working collaboratively with members of other disciplines within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network
About you:
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Australia
- Demonstrated competency in Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Demonstrated ability to undertake the physical demands of the job
- Demonstrated time management skills to effectively manage a caseload
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to work effectively in inter-disciplinary teams

The Role
The Clinical Trial Assistant – Phlebotomy/Laboratory, will provide support to the Research Study Coordinators and Clinical Trials Team by performing standard of care and clinical trial specific participant assessments, biospecimen sample processing, inventory management, and administration activities as required by specific protocols and the Clinical Trials Team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collect blood samples via venepuncture and collect other specimens at specific time points.
- Process blood samples as required per protocols, including operating centrifuge to prepare/separate blood samples.
- Assist in tracking, storing, organising, and shipping biospecimen samples.
- Perform various tests, including vital signs assessments, height, weight measurements, Holter and ECGs at specific time points per protocols.
- Preparation and organisation of clinical trial kits and consumables, including associated administrative duties.
- Work with internal departments and external vendors as required, including assisting with query resolutions, liaising with couriers and supporting the nursing team with various activities.
- Regular communication with study coordinators to achieve timely scheduling of patients, collection of samples, and administration activities.
About you
The successful applicant will bring knowledge and relevant experience and to excel in this role supporting and promoting Cabrini Research.
You will have:
- A Certificate III or IV in Pathology Specimen Collection (required)
- Recent experience in venepuncture and ECG collection is essential (minimum of one year’s recent experience required)
- Experience with blood sample processing preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of an effective team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain accurate documentation

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for supporting the nursing staff to deliver safe and seamless care and assisting with managing ward resources and equipment. The PCA will assist with monitoring and stocking resources, cleaning equipment, assisting with bed flow, and ensuring beds are made and ready for admissions to the ward.

About the Role
The Stroke Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) will work in collaboration with the Stroke Nurse Practitioner (NP) and will be an expert resource providing proficient clinical, management, quality and education leadership within the Neurosciences Unit.
As an advanced nursing practice role, the Stroke CNC providing is responsible for strategic, clinical and professional leadership across the continuum of stroke care. The CNC is responsible for improving outcomes for people affected by stroke through expert clinical consultancy, service development, workforce capability, clinical governance, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
The CNC, working in collaboration with the Stroke Nurse Practitioner (NP) acts as the nursing expert in stroke care and provides professional leadership to advance stroke services, optimise patient outcomes and drive innovation across the organisation and health service.
Duties
• Efficiently and effectively manage the coordination of care and treatment of the Stroke/TIA patient within SVHM and St Vincent’s Private Hospital (SVPH)
• Assist in rapid assessment and preparation for reperfusion therapy for patients presenting with acute stroke/TIA to the Emergency Department at SVHM and across inpatient wards.
• Lead complex clinical decision-making and escalation processes and facilitate delivery of evidence-based stroke care across all clinical settings.
Classifications for this position will range between ZA7 – ZA8 (134,498.00 - $137,696.00 per annum, pro rata)

About Neurosciences
The Neurosciences Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital includes Stroke, Neurology and Neurosurgery patients across two clinical areas. There are over 300 presentations of stroke per year at SVHM with care provided by a multidisciplinary team in a dedicated 6 bed Stroke Unit. Medical intervention includes hyperacute reperfusion therapy with administration of thrombolysis, and /or Endovascular Thrombectomy (EVT) with neurosurgical, neuro-interventional and vascular surgery co-management as required. SVHM is active in clinical research and a participating site in the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry (AuSCR).

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, mechanical plant and associated building services to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of hospital facilities.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting critical hospital infrastructure and contributing to a safe environment for patients, visitors and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems, mechanical plant and associated building services.
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to equipment including air handling units, chillers, boilers, pumps and related systems.
- Monitor and optimise Building Management Systems (BMS) and mechanical plant performance to maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist with mechanical projects, plant upgrades and contractor coordination as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call roster and provide breakdown support when required.
- Work collaboratively with the Engineering team to maintain a safe, compliant and well-maintained hospital environment.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or HVAC Technician.
- Minimum four years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience maintaining HVAC systems and mechanical building services in a commercial environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to safe work practices and quality service delivery.
- Availability to participate in an after-hours on-call roster.
Previous experience in a hospital or large commercial environment and working knowledge of Building Management Systems will be highly regarded.

Forensic mental health sits at the intersection of clinical care and the justice system — complex, meaningful, and rarely the same day twice. What You'll Be Doing
As a Forensic Court Liaison Officer within the NALHN Forensic Mental Health Service, you will provide specialist mental health assessment and consultation across court and justice settings in Adelaide's northern metro region. This is a fixed-term part-time contract through to 14 March 2027.
- Conduct mental health assessments of individuals appearing before court, providing timely clinical opinion to magistrates and legal stakeholders
- Liaise effectively with courts, legal representatives, SA Police, and community services to coordinate care pathways
- Prepare clear, accurate clinical reports suitable for court proceedings
- Support diversion from the criminal justice system where clinically appropriate, connecting consumers to relevant mental health services
What You'll Bring
- Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker with relevant mental health experience
- Demonstrated experience in forensic, acute, or community mental health settings
- Sound understanding of the Mental Health Act 2009 (SA) and relevant legislation governing court-referred assessments
- Ability to prepare concise clinical documentation suitable for use in legal proceedings
- Experience working within or alongside justice, corrections, or court-based systems within SA Health or a comparable health network
- Strong interpersonal skills when engaging consumers in high-pressure or unfamiliar environments
To be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification for one of the following Allied Health disciplines working in the service, specifically:
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Australia

- Conducting occupational therapy assessments and developing goal-directed intervention plans under clinical supervision

- Providing evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for geriatric inpatients at Modbury Hospital
- Contributing to goal-directed care planning alongside medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues within the multidisciplinary team
- Supporting safe and timely patient transitions through rehabilitation, falls prevention, and functional restoration programs
- Participating in student supervision, quality improvement activities, and ongoing service development within the Northern Adelaide Geriatric Service
