About the Opportunity
Join the Community Rapid Response Service (ComRRS) and play a leading role in delivering advanced clinical care to people across North West Tasmania.
This innovative community-based service provides rapid assessment, treatment and support for people experiencing acute illness, injury, or exacerbations of chronic and complex conditions. By delivering timely care in the community, ComRRS helps people avoid unnecessary hospital presentations and admissions while achieving better health outcomes closer to home.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll work with a high degree of clinical autonomy, applying advanced assessment, diagnostic and treatment skills while collaborating with community nursing teams, General Practitioners, pharmacists, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers.
This is an opportunity to practise at the top of your scope, influence service delivery, lead clinical excellence and contribute to the ongoing development of an important hospital avoidance service.

What You'll Do
- Deliver advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of clients in community settings.
- Provide rapid and intensive responses to people experiencing acute illness, injury, or deterioration of chronic and complex conditions.
- Initiate and interpret diagnostic investigations and implement evidence-based treatment plans within Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively with General Practitioners, community providers and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- Lead clinical excellence through quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice.
- Mentor, educate and support nursing and multidisciplinary staff.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the Community Rapid Response Service.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering innovative, person-centred healthcare in the community.
You will have:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Extensive clinical experience and advanced nursing expertise within a primary health care, community health or similar practice environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of acute, chronic and complex conditions.
- Advanced clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to educate, mentor and influence others.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to work effectively with General Practitioners and multidisciplinary teams.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and achieving exceptional patient outcomes.
- Current Driver's Licence.

Details of Appointment
Multiple FTE available, up to full time
Shift worker position, working as part of the Community Rapid Response Service.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time and casual vacancies.
Salary: $148,470 per annum (pro rata), plus 12% employer superannuation.

Epworth at Home is seeking experienced Registered Nurses ready to step into a leadership role, or an established ANUM looking for a new challenge. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering exceptional patient-centred care in the home environment.
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to support the operational management, clinical leadership and ongoing development of the service. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, timely and evidence-based care while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Lead by example, setting and maintaining high clinical standards.
- Support and develop a high-performing, patient-focused nursing team.
- Coordinate safe, effective and efficient patient care across the Epworth at Home service.
- Collaborate with hospitals, specialists, GPs, rehabilitation services and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- Assist in managing staffing, resources and operational performance.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and innovation in service delivery.
- Support the NUM in maintaining a safe and positive clinical environment for patients, visitors and staff.
- Actively build strong relationships with medical staff and key stakeholders.
- Assume the responsibilities of the Nurse Unit Manager during periods of leave or absence.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced acute care nurse with Hospital in the Home (HITH) experience who is looking to further develop their leadership capability. Experience in chemotherapy nursing will be highly regarded, given the complexity and diversity of patients supported through the Epworth at Home service.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty area.
- Minimum 3-5 years' acute hospital nursing experience.
- Previous Hospital in the Home (HITH) experience is essential.
- Chemotherapy administration and patient management experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, either as an existing ANUM or as an experienced clinician ready to step into a leadership role.
- Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and peers to support service delivery and team performance.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement and innovation in models of care.
- Strong organisational, clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and ACHS Accreditation Standards.

What the role involves
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Grade 1 Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Services team in a part-time, 6-month fixed-term position. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based, contemporary physiotherapy care to community-based patients presenting with a variety of conditions, including post-joint surgery rehabilitation, persistent pain, general reconditioning, and neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease.
You will provide both individual and group-based physiotherapy programs, as well as facilitate interactive patient education and hydrotherapy sessions. Working closely with the broader multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering holistic, patient-centred care.
We are committed to supporting your professional growth, offering regular supervision from senior physiotherapists, along with access to study leave and a professional development allowance.

What we are looking for

About the role

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, referrers, general practitioners, hospitals and community providers to facilitate coordinated, seamless and patient-centred care.

About you
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency

About the Program
The Transition to Specialty Practice (TSP) – Intensive Care Program is a comprehensive, supported pathway for Registered Nurses looking to develop specialist skills in critical care nursing.
Commencing in February 2027, this part time opportunity (0.8FTE) combines structured education with hands-on clinical experience, providing the knowledge, confidence and support needed to transition into the dynamic and rewarding ICU environment. Participants will work rotating shifts while undertaking the program.
Working within Cabrini’s 16-bed Level 3 Intensive Care Unit, you will care for patients requiring complex medical, surgical and critical care management, supported by experienced clinicians, educators and leaders.
About Our ICU
Cabrini’s ICU provides care for patients requiring advanced critical care, including:
- Major surgical and post-cardiac surgery recovery
- Respiratory failure and advanced respiratory support
- Neurological and neurosurgical conditions
- Sepsis, renal failure and multi-organ dysfunction

About the role
Provide advanced clinical leadership to the community services intake function, ensuring timely, equitable and patient-centred access to care. About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification

Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team at a senior level
Ability to provide chronic respiratory input, health coaching and education to clients in multiple clinical settings including within their own homes

About the opportunity
Werribee Mercy Hospital is entering a landmark new phase, with the opening of a major Emergency Department expansion. This expansion will significantly increase our capacity and enable us to meet the rapidly growing healthcare needs of the Wyndham community, providing timely, high-quality emergency care to an additional 25,000 patients each year.

As a Clinical Nurse Manager – Workforce and Operations, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the Emergency Department Nursing Leadership Team. Working in partnership with the Nuse Unit Manager, you will provide operational leadership across workforce planning, recruitment, rostering, operational performance and patient flow and service coordination to support safe, efficient and responsive emergency care delivery.

About the role
As a Pharmacist at Cabrini, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a nurturing, collaborative environment working alongside experienced professionals. Our pharmacists have the opportunity to rotate through clinical wards, sterile and cytotoxic manufacturing and inpatient dispensing. You will be an essential member of all clinical teams and play a critical role in medication management.
Flexibility will be required to work over 5 days – Monday to Friday with some on-call, weekend and evening work on a rostered basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing pharmaceutical service to patients and clinicians, ensuring prescribing and dispensing compliance with legislative and professional requirements
Providing dispensing and medication counselling service to patients
Providing pharmaceutical information to health professionals
Ensuring medications are stored safely and appropriately
What we’re looking for
Current AHPRA Registration
Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy (desirable)
Well-developed computer skills
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be proactive and work well within a team
Sound prioritising and organisational skills with the ability to adapt to conflicting demands
High level of motivation and enthusiasm to learn
