About the Role
The Domestic Services team manages the cleaning of each Cabrini facility, including our hospitals located at Malvern and Brighton, as well as our health facilities located at Elsternwick. The Domestic Services Assistant (Cleaner) is responsible for cleaning and maintaining safe and attractive facilities. You will also make a positive difference by joining a leading not-for-profit healthcare service provider.
Key responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and servicing patient rooms and associated areas
Ensuring all equipment is cleaned
Using all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and protocols
Working with other hospital team members to optimise the safety, care, and overall experience of our patients
Permanent part-time role (3-4 days per week), mostly Monday-Friday, with a preference for flexibility to work weekends as required. AM/PM shifts are available: 8AM-4PM or 2PM-10PM. The role will be predominantly day-based with flexibility to work afternoon or evening shifts as needed.
Casual position, shifts available across Monday-Sunday AM/PM, flexibility to work a range of shifts throughout the week.
About you
This role will suit an experienced cleaner with experience gained in a domestic or commercial environment. We are looking for flexibility throughout the week as well as the following:
Responsiveness and proactive, thorough approach to tasks
Strong customer/patient service focus
High level attention to detail and a flexible approach to work with a great work ethic
A team player, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues
Self-motivated and reliable with excellent personal presentation
Well-developed communication skills including proficiency in written and spoken English

How you will make an impact in the role
Cabrini’s Medical Imaging Department provides a 24-hour service seven days a week at our Malvern campus and services a variety of patients including outpatients, inpatients and ED patients. Modalities include General Xray, Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, Angiography, CT, MRI, Mammography and DEXA. We also offer Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging.
Requisite training will be provided, with the successful applicant then able to participate in the night shift roster.
Responsibilities of the Medical Imaging Technologist Grade 3 include:
Providing care to the patient before, during and after the medical imaging examination, ensuring compassionate, competent care and service.
Examining the patient radiographically, as and when requested in writing by a qualified medical practitioner, according to the imaging protocols of the department or as directed by the consultant radiologist.
Performing and assisting with radiographic procedures while remaining conscious of the standards required and conforming to the ALARA principle to produce the highest diagnostic quality image(s).
What we're looking for
Diploma or Bachelor degree in Radiography / Radiation / Medical Imaging
Recent experience in a similar position with demonstrated experience in CT scanning (essential)
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills with a patient focused caring attitude
Commitment to learning and further developing skillset
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

About the Role
We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Palliative and Supportive Care team at Cabrini Malvern. In this role, you’ll work closely with our nursing staff to provide safe, respectful, and high-quality care to patients and their families during a critical time in their health journey.
As a PCA, you will support the delivery of clinical care under the supervision of registered nurses. This role requires flexibility, with shifts scheduled across mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support as directed by the registered nurse
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Assist with maintaining a clean and comfortable patient environment
Respond to patient and family enquiries, escalating as appropriate
Uphold patient privacy, dignity, and cultural sensitivities
About You
You’re a team player with a passion for patient care and a strong sense of empathy.
You will also have:
A qualification in Health Services Assistance or equivalent (as outlined in the position description)

About the role
As a Medical Receptionist/Administrator you will provide professional reception and administrative services to doctors, patients, referring practitioners and allied health staff in the Cabrini Specialist centres. This role will see you working across Cabrini’s Mother & Baby Centre, Haemotology & Oncology Clinic, Malvern Specialist Suites, Orthopaedic Specialist Centre and Cabrini Brighton.
Key responsibilities will include:
Performing reception duties, data entry, invoicing, and offering hospitality and efficient services to all visitors and hospital staff
Maintaining confidentiality and respect for sensitive information
Answering telephones and other enquiries
Attending to patient requests, referring to the appropriate person if unable to assist
Managing the office function autonomously where required and using initiative appropriately
You will need to have flexibility to cover a range of shifts from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00AM-6:00PM in Malvern and occasionally Brighton.
About you
You will need to have excellent customer service skills as well as the following:
Previous reception/office experience within the healthcare industry (preferably specialist medical rooms)
Ability to work respectfully as part of a team as well as unsupervised for periods of time (once training completed)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a professional telephone manner
Strong computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Outlook and Word

As a Patient Accounts Administrator, you will work as part of an experienced and dedicated team who are responsible for billing and debtor follow up from Health Funds, TAC and Workcover claims for services provided at Cabrini.

Ensure legislation requirements are met, and all relevant documentation is completed.

About the opportunity
This hands-on role involves guiding customers through the entire admissions process. As a champion of aged care admissions and regulatory requirements, the Admissions Coordinator significantly contributes to meeting sales targets and maintaining healthy occupancy levels. - Coordinate the 'room turnover' process with site maintenance and cleaners, overseeing tasks such as carpet cleaning, painting, and setting up display rooms.
- Take responsibility for logging resident movements in eCase and liaising with Medicare as needed, such as obtaining remaining respite days.
- Conduct daily site inspections and ensure display rooms are prepared to welcome visitors.
- Discussing Healthy Ageing Services with discharging residents and linking them to the appropriate business owner to maximise conversion to other business streams
- Adhere to and champion the Mercy Health admissions processes

About the role
Cabrini Health is seeking several Administration Clerks to join our vibrant Patient Services team – primarily based at Malvern. Processing patient registration information ensuring timely and accurate entry in WebPAS
Organising patients' financial files and other forms/labels with medical records in preparation for admission/surgery lists
Conduct pre-admission telephone calls to patients within 48 hours of hospital admission to clarify personal details and advise any out-of-pocket expenses
Compile information packs for patients, including relevant health fund and other information specific to each patient
Prepare information for patients upon discharge and collect any outstanding payments relating to their stay
Our department operates between the hours of 6:00AM - 8:00PM Monday - Sunday, so flexibility to cover a range of shifts is preferred.
Positions are also available in our Emergency Department which requires late night finishes up to 11PM (occasional night shifts required).

Scanning Centre is based at Kingston. We had amalgamated Dandenong, Clayton and Casey Medical Records department in 2019.
Our Team processes documents from Sandringham, Victorian Heart Hospital, Clayton, Dandenong, Casey, all Mental Health/Community sites and SECASA. Our Team operates with over 60 EFT, we have 5 Team Leaders overseeing their own direct reports under different portfolios and 2 Trainer and Auditors. We work alongside Clinical Support Services that manages digital uploads. We collect, prep and scan medical records 7 days a week, 365 days in a year. We prep and scan over 400,000 pages a month whilst ensuring quality standards against the PROV guidelines are below 1.2% error rate. Our department oversees various operations such as Double UR's, Research, Screening OP referrals, Release of Information (after hours) and electronic uploads.
This department has highly skilled staff who are able to process, audit, uphold data integrity with high standards.
About the Role
This is a Full Time Ongoing role, working 80 hours a fortnight (ADO included and is optional). The role is based at our Monah Health Kingston Centre, in Heatherton, however you may be required to work at different sites such as Clayton and Dandenong.
Responsibilities
As a part of large team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Prepping/Sorting and assembling of sensitive, medical records documents for scanning within departmental KPI's
- Follow business rules and policies and procedures

About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our dynamic Emergency Department (ED) team at Cabrini Malvern. This role is essential in supporting nursing staff and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses.
Cabrini’s Emergency Department is a fast-paced, 24/7 service staffed by specialist emergency physicians and highly trained nurses. While we do not treat major trauma or acute psychiatric cases, we manage a wide range of emergency presentations in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport patients within the ED and to inpatient wards
Assist with transfers to other departments including radiology (including high-acuity patients such as ICU-level and resuscitation cases)
Deliver patient care under RN supervision (e.g., assistance with meals, continence support, and pressure injury prevention)
Provide continuous patient observation and report concerns to nursing staff
Support falls prevention initiatives in the ED
Respond to patient and family queries, escalating to nursing staff as needed
Maintain a clean and safe environment, including bed-making and restocking supplies
Uphold patient dignity and respect cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs
About You

About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our dynamic Emergency Department (ED) team at Cabrini Malvern. This role is essential in supporting nursing staff and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses.
Cabrini’s Emergency Department is a fast-paced, 24/7 service staffed by specialist emergency physicians and highly trained nurses. While we do not treat major trauma or acute psychiatric cases, we manage a wide range of emergency presentations in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport patients within the ED and to inpatient wards
Assist with transfers to other departments including radiology (including high-acuity patients such as ICU-level and resuscitation cases)
Deliver patient care under RN supervision (e.g., assistance with meals, continence support, and pressure injury prevention)
Provide continuous patient observation and report concerns to nursing staff
Support falls prevention initiatives in the ED
Respond to patient and family queries, escalating to nursing staff as needed
Maintain a clean and safe environment, including bed-making and restocking supplies
Uphold patient dignity and respect cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs
About You
This position suits someone with previous experience in a hospital or emergency department setting and a genuine commitment to patient care. You thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment and bring both professionalism and empathy to your work.
You will have:
Certificate in Health Services Assistance or equivalent qualification (as outlined in the position description)
Previous experience in an acute care or emergency department setting (highly desirable)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Solid computer literacy

About Us
Scanning Centre is based at Kingston. We had amalgamated Dandenong, Clayton and Casey Medical Records department in 2019.
Our Team processes documents from Sandringham, Victorian Heart Hospital, Clayton, Dandenong, Casey, all Mental Health/Community sites and SECASA. Our Team operates with over 60 EFT, we have 5 Team Leaders overseeing their own direct reports under different portfolios and 2 Trainer and Auditors. We work alongside Clinical Support Services that manages digital uploads. We collect, prep and scan medical records 7 days a week, 365 days in a year. We prep and scan over 400,000 pages a month whilst ensuring quality standards against the PROV guidelines are below 1.2% error rate. Our department oversees various operations such as Double UR's, Research, Screening OP referrals, Release of Information (after hours) and electronic uploads.
This department has highly skilled staff who are able to process, audit, uphold data integrity with high standards.
About the Role
We are looking for 2 Part Timers:
- 1 x 60 hours a fortnight (Tuesday - Friday 1:30pm-9:30pm)
- 1 x 50 hours a fortnight (Monday - Friday 3pm-8pm)
This role is based at our Monash Health Kingston Centre in Heatherton, however you may be required to work at different sites such as Clayton and Dandenong.
Responsibilities
As a part of large team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Prepping/Sorting and assembling of sensitive, medical records documents for scanning within departmental KPI's
- Follow business rules and policies and procedures
- Understanding of the Health Records Act and Privacy Act
- Scanning the paper medical record into an electronic format using the Kodak and Infomedix software systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to use PAS Systems and EMR
- Accurate entry of information into a variety of systems including iPM and SMR
- Handling of incoming telephone calls and written requests from internal and external parties - After Hours for Release of Information
- Management of inboxes
- Tracking the location of all medical records that pass through the department, and those known to be located in other departments of the hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to take on a senior education-focused role within a supportive team committed to excellence in clinical practice, education and research.
Classification: Physiotherapist Grade 3 VB7–VC1 ($104,135 - $118,981 per annum, pro rata for part time).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 7 years' clinical and/or clinical education experience
Completion of, or progress towards, a relevant postgraduate qualification
Demonstrated knowledge of Physiotherapy management and clinical service provision within a public healthcare setting
Recognition by professional peers as a clinical expert, with broad and relevant clinical experience in your area of expertise
Demonstrated leadership, management and networking skills
Highly developed communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and the wider organisation
Extensive experience supervising and supporting the professional development of Physiotherapists, students and support staff

Shifts are available between 6:30AM - 9:00PM Monday-Sunday.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting patients with menu ordering
Preparation of food for our patients
Cleaning of kitchen and equipment
Providing service to patient rooms and associated areas
Working with other hospital team members to optimise the safety, care and overall experience of our patients
What we’re looking for
Along with your commitment to providing excellent customer service to our patients, you will also have the following:
Food Handlers Certificate (or the willingness to undertake at Cabrini)
Knowledge of culinary and nutritional terminology including diet codes (preferable)
Experience in a food service industry or service industry of at least 12 months will be highly regarded
A willingness to learn and be given directives
Well-developed communication skills including proficiency in written and spoken English
A flexible approach to work and be adaptable in a fast paced environment
Effective interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to build positive and professional working relationships with patients and colleagues

The Clinical Nurse Consultant, McGrath Cancer Care Nurse - Breast, acts as a clinical expert and functions as a resource person for staff at South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD), McGrath Foundation, and health professionals from across the state and the broad community. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides leadership that facilitates the ongoing development of clinical practice that reflects the McGrath Model of Care. The CNC will provide specialist breast care, information, education, and support to clients relating to breast cancer in accordance with evidence based clinical practice guidelines and the McGrath Model of Care.
The CNC will ensure that specific data required by the Foundation is added to the relevant McGrath Foundation controlled database on a regular and timely basis. The McGrath Cancer Care Nurse will attend and actively participate in McGrath Foundation education and information sharing events.

The McGrath Breast Care Nurse is a registered nurse who applies advanced knowledge of the health needs, preferences, and circumstances of all patients with breast cancer to optimise the individual's health and well-being at various phases across the continuum of care from diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, follow-up, and palliative care. This advanced knowledge is based on an in-depth understanding of theory and research relevant to the field of breast cancer nursing. Specifically, the Breast Care Nurse practice incorporates advanced knowledge and skills in supportive care, including providing specialised and tailored information and education, psychological Support, and clinical care. The McGrath Breast Care Nurse adapts their practice according to the specific and changing needs of the individual, considering their multiple health needs, concerns, and preferences for care. The Breast Care Nurse facilitates continuity of care between different phases of the cancer journey, care settings, care plans, and care providers.
