Gregory Hills & South-West Sydney, NSW Full-time $45-$65 per hour New graduates welcome
We're building a team of OTs who are curious about people, thoughtful in their practice and good to work alongside. If you enjoy getting to know what matters to someone and finding practical ways to make everyday life work better, we'd love to hear from you.
At Power of Grace Care Services (POGCS), we're a growing team working with NDIS participants in their homes and communities. There's room to share ideas, explore your clinical interests and help shape the way we work together.
About youYou're someone who follows through, communicates openly and brings care to the details. You enjoy thinking creatively, exploring the evidence behind your decisions and working independently within your competence. You're comfortable asking questions and sharing what you learn with the team.
One or more years of OT experience is desirable, but we're also happy to hear from new graduates who have completed their OT degree and want to build a career in the NDIS sector. Our graduate training program combines structured supervision, shadowing, a gradual caseload build-up and feedback on reports. Responsibilities will be matched to your experience, with time to discuss cases and develop your clinical confidence.
About the roleBased around Gregory Hills, this is community-based OT, so expect a mix of client visits, assessments, therapy and report writing. You'll work with participants and their support teams to turn meaningful goals into practical plans, with flexibility in how you organise your work.
Your work will include:- Assessing participants' functional, physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs.
- Developing and delivering individual therapy plans, reviewing progress and adapting your approach.
- Supporting daily living skills, independence and participation in the things that matter to each person.
- Working with families, support coordinators and other health professionals to keep care coordinated.
- Writing clear reports and keeping accurate, timely clinical records.
- Sharing ideas in case discussions and contributing to improvements across the team.
- Supporting junior clinicians and delegating to Allied Health Assistants where appropriate to your experience and role.
- A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.
- AHPRA registration.
- An Australian driver's licence and the ability to travel between community appointments.
- NDIS Worker Screening
- NSW Working With Children Check.
- Good organisation, clear written communication and a commitment to person-centred, evidence-based practice.

Allied Health Assistant (Casual) Ipswich & Brisbane South-West
At Power of Grace Care Services (POGCS), we help people work towards goals that matter in their everyday lives. We're looking for an Allied Health Assistant who enjoys working directly with people and helping them build their skills, confidence and independence.
This casual role will support clients across Redbank Plains, Redbank, Springfield and surrounding Ipswich and Brisbane south-west suburbs. Sessions may take place in clients' homes, schools, clinics or the community, depending on their needs.
About the role
You'll work under the supervision of qualified Occupational Therapist, delivering therapy activities they have designed and delegated. You'll help clients practise skills between therapist appointments, notice how they're progressing and keep the supervising clinician informed.
At POGCS, this means:
- Delivering practical, engaging activities that support each client's NDIS and therapy goals.
- Following the delegated therapy plan and asking for guidance when something is unclear or a client's needs change.
- Preparing equipment and the environment so sessions are safe and ready to run.
- Recording observations, collecting progress information and completing clear, timely session notes in Splose.
- Sharing feedback with supervising clinicians and participating in case discussions and debriefs.
- Building respectful relationships with clients, families and their support teams while protecting privacy, dignity and choice.
You'll need to be comfortable managing your session preparation and documentation while staying connected with the clinicians supervising your work.
About you
You have completed, or are actively studying, a Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Allied Health Assistance, Individual Support, Disability or a related field.
You're reliable, organised and able to follow structured instructions. You communicate clearly, enjoy helping people learn and can adapt activities within the guidance provided by the supervising clinician.
You'll also need:
- A current Working With Children Check appropriate to Queensland.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one before commencing relevant work.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Basic computer skills and confidence completing electronic records.
- The ability to travel between client locations, including driver's license and vehicle registration.
- A commitment to ongoing training, supervision, POGCS policies and the NDIS Code of Conduct.
Previous experience in disability or NDIS services, and familiarity with allied health therapy activities, would be an advantage.
Working with us
You'll contribute to a multidisciplinary team, with supervision and opportunities to discuss client progress and develop your skills. Casual hours will depend on client needs and your availability.
We're looking for someone who can start as soon as the required checks are complete.
