The Team

Campbell Town Health and Community Services:

Multipurpose facility with 24-hour emergency care, 6 sub-acute beds, 20 residential beds, Community Nursing, palliative care, same day infusion clinic.

The Role

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in both the emergency department and sub-acute in-patient ward and aged care to provide high quality patient care to a variety of patients with varying medical requirements in line with NSQHS and AGED CARE standards.

It would be preferable that the successful applicant has:

• Ability to work independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Previous emergency experience including triage and cannulation competency.
• Willingness to learn new skills, take on challenges and help foster a positive work culture.

Details of appointment

Fixed term part time, shift worker position, working 24 hours per fortnight, 14 September 2026 until 25 February 2027.

Salary

$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

The Team

The Community Continence Service is a collaborative, inclusive and supportive team that is part of Primary Health North. This service provides care and assessment across Northern Tasmania to deliver excellence in healthcare relating to continence to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers. The Continence Service is a family friendly workplace that values work life balance, encourages and supports career enhancement and growth.

The Role

• Act as clinical leader in contemporary nursing practice in the delivery of nursing services through the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient management plans; the provision of staff education and input into patient care as required across the northern region of Tasmania.
• In conjunction with team members, devise, document, implement and review protocols, guidelines and procedures to enhance services to patients receiving care. Implement changes in practice as a result of research and best practice recommendations.
• Promote the use of continuous quality improvement processes for clients requiring continence care services to achieve positive clinical outcomes, including the fostering and supporting of a clinical risk management framework in a community based clinical practice setting.
