Staff enjoy a supportive leadership team, approachable managers and a cohesive workforce that focuses on respect, professionalism and continuous improvement in resident care.
Roshana Fig Tree Point Aged Care is a 73 bed home that feels welcoming for both residents and staff, with comfortable rooms, shared lounges and a calm, homely atmosphere. Residents are supported by a stable, multidisciplinary team that values teamwork, open communication and safe, person centred care every day.
We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our aged care team at Roshana Fig Tree Point Aged Care, Roshana Amaroo Aged Care and Roshana Waterview Aged Care in a casual capacity. We are seeking applicants who are available to work across AM, PM and Night Shifts.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a key clinical leader within our aged care team, responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care to our residents. You will combine clinical expertise with compassion, supporting residents' health, dignity, and quality of life while guiding and supporting care staff in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing- Provide comprehensive clinical care in line with best practice and aged care standards
- Conduct assessments, develop, and review care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications, treatments, and complex care interventions safely and accurately
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to changes in residents' health conditions
- Lead, support, and mentor care staff to ensure high standards of resident care
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and person-centred care
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting (highly regarded)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Compassionate, calm, and professional approach to care
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
- A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this

We are seeking 3 new Casual Maternal and Child Health Nurses to join our team.
Skills and experience require to perform the role
- Be responsible for providing a high-quality, family-centred MCH service that promotes and protects the health and wellbeing of families with children 0 - 5 years in the municipality.
- The ability to provide evidence-based guidance and advice, support and education on a wide variety of health, parenting and family issues
- Be a team player with a strong customer service focus.
- Be able to work autonomously to provide an MCH service with support from the team and your MCH Coordinator.
- Work in a team to solve problems and achieve outcomes in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Attend regular Team meetings and planned professional development.
- Enjoy Merri-bek's supportive mentoring program for all new staff.
- Access to New Graduate support and mentoring if you are in your first 12 months of practice
To be successful in this role you will hold AHPRA registration in General Nursing and Midwifery as well as tertiary qualifications in Maternal & Child Health.
You will need to provide evidence of your right to work in Australia, copies of your qualifications, a current Driver's Licence & Employee Working with Children Check.
You must be willing to undertake Pre-Employment Health check, as well as a National Police Record Check.

About the role
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for supporting the clinical education needs of staff at the service location through the development and delivery of education and for identifying learning needs of staff members in conjunction with individual staff and
managers which align with GEO Healthcare service goals.
We are recruiting for a Part Time role, working 2 days per week from Ravenhall Correctional Centre (Victoria). The position offers $43,068.10 per annum.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Provides episodic and ongoing clinical education/nursing practice in accordance with legislation, GEO Healthcare's clinical policies and procedures including demonstrating advanced knowledge and practice in contemporary nursing practice and theory relevant to Primary Health Care in the Correctional setting
- Develop, implement and evaluate service orientation programs in collaboration with Health Service Manager and clinical staff
- Initiate, participate and contribute to the development of clinical knowledge and skills of new and existing nurses
- Implement and evaluate clinical education programs and in-service education for clinical staff
- Educate, support and supervise nursing students, employed staff and agency staff working in the Health Centre, via the delivery of formal and informal education
- Develop and maintain clinical educational resources
- Identify individual learning needs of nurses in consultation with the nurse, the Health Service Manager and other staff (as appropriate)
- Perform clinical assessments of nurses and provide certification of competency where required
- Develop, implement and evaluate extended skills programs for nurses in collaboration with the Health Services Manager and other relevant stakeholders
- Maintain education records to ensure compliance with mandatory competencies
- Complying with Occupational Health and Safety and Equal Employment Opportunity legislative requirements
- Recognise and understand the pertinent and emerging clinical education issues within the correctional nursing and education environments
- Actively participate in the development and review of policies, procedures and clinical guidelines
- Identifying and implementing quality improvement initiatives and participating in accreditation activities
Key Selection Criteria:
- Division 1 Registered Nurse with the Australian Health PractitionerRegulation Agency

- Relevant clinical experience in acute nursing, primary health care and/or mental health
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the healthcare environment
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills enabling constructive evaluation of performance and feedback to staff

- Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Position OverviewThe Registered Nurse Level 1 (Dialysis Nurse) is based in Kununurra on a Full-time basis.
