Location: North-West Tasmania
Position Type: Multiple positions available - permanent, full time shift worker, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The Position
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department at the Mersey Community Hospital and the Northwest Regional Hospital. The Emergency Departments at Mersey Community Hospital (MCH) and North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) deliver high-quality emergency care to communities across North-West Tasmania. Each site has its own identity, leadership, and patient flow, whilst continuing to work closely together, operating under shared nursing and medical governance, with a strong focus on teamwork, professional support, and safe, patient-centred care. The Northwest Emergency Departments are dynamic, high-energy environments where no two shifts are the same. You Will Need
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

Purpose of the Position
The position of Staff Specialist Northern Beaches CommunityMental Health Services,works within a multi-disciplinary team using a recovery orientated approach to support the timely clinical assessment, review, management, treatment and discharge planning to support the delivery of a high quality, safe, and evidence based mental health services for adult and older people residing in the Northern Beaches local government area.
You will provide clinical management and treatment of patients under your care in a Northern Sydney Local Health District facility or service. This care will be provided within the scope of clinical practice endorsed by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.
The position will provide clinical consultation services within NSLHD and will contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates and other health care professionals and to research, evaluation and quality improvement activities within NSLHD.

The Manager, Clinical Research which plays a critical leadership role in the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical research activities supporting DePuy Synthes' orthopedic portfolio. - Lead end-to-end clinical study operations across assigned programs, including feasibility planning, vendor/CRO engagement, start-up, execution, and close-out activities.

- Develop and maintain operational study plans (milestones, enrollment projections, monitoring strategy, issue escalation pathways), track progress against timelines and budget, and proactively identify/mitigate risks to deliverables.
- Own monitoring resourcing planning (FTE/visit forecasts, CRA allocation, coverage models) and coordinate with monitoring leadership/CROs to ensure adequate capacity, continuity, and quality oversight across sites.
- Support inspection readiness and participate in audits/inspections by preparing study documentation, coordinating responses, facilitating interviews, and driving timely completion of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for study-related findings.
- Drive consistent project management and communication practices, including meeting cadences, status reporting, and lessons learned; collaborate effectively with a US-based global clinical team by planning across time zones and ensuring timely handoffs and stakeholder updates.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline (required).
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in clinical research, clinical operations, or related medical device or healthcare research roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing or leading clinical studies and cross functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical research regulations, and quality systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Required:

Applicants should be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and / or other specialist recognition as provided for in the Visiting Medical Officer Determination
Central Coast is comprised of the twin areas of Gosford and Wyong, positioned between Sydney and Newcastle, which are collectively expected to grow from the current approximate 300,000 to 450,000 population before 2030. The Local Health District has strong connections with both Royal North Shore Hospital and the University of Newcastle.
This position has obligations to both Gosford Hospital under Sessional arrangements and Wyong Hospital under Fee for Service arrangements. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
This role is to provide firstly a clinical management and consultation service to patients with conditions applicable to the sub-specialty of Interventional Cardiology and participate in an appropriate on- call roster for Central Coast Local Health District at the two acute care sites in Gosford and Wyong Hospitals, secondly to provide education, supervision and support to junior medical staff, and thirdly to engage in ongoing quality assurance activities both at the Departmental and District Level and additionally as directed by the Director of Medical Services and the Director of Clinical Governance. As an Interventional Cardiologist, the Candidate is required to be credentialed according to the CSANZ competence criteria for percutaneous coronary interventions. Completing at least one year of fellowship program in Interventional Cardiology is essential. A strong commitment for 24/7 primary PCI service is essential.
