Your part in our UnitingCare team
We are currently seeking to appoint a Family Counsellor to work as a part of our UnitingCare Family and Relationship Service based at Bundaberg or Gympie.
In this role you will:
Provide individual, couple and group counselling and education with an aim to strengthen family relationships
Prevent breakdown and ensure the wellbeing and safety of children and adults who live in all kinds of families.
Essential to the role is:
Sound knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to provide counselling and related services within a therapeutic context to a range of clients with issues including, but not limited to, domestic and family violence, sexual abuse, child abuse, relationship discord and grief and loss.
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, oral and written communication and advocacy skills are required along with a proven ability to work co-operatively within a multi-disciplinary team in a complex human services environment.
What makes a difference for us?
Possession of a Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or Behavioural Science from a recognised tertiary institution coupled with prior experience.
Qld Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card).
Current Drivers Licence

About the Role

About You
We are seeking midwives who are:
Passionate about woman and birthing person-centered care
Experienced in providing comprehensive, evidence-based care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal continuum
Strong communicators with a collaborative mindset
Proven ability to prioritise workload and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment
Committed to safe, respectful, and culturally responsive care
Experience in caseload midwifery or MGP is highly regarded however not essential.
Registered Midwife with AHPRA
Hold a full driver’s license
Minimum 2 years as a Registered Midwife of experience
Level 3 FSEP
Advanced midwifery skill set including perineal suturing, IV cannulation, newborn discharge check, domiciliary care. Endorsed midwives are encouraged to apply.

The role of Regional Clinical Funding Coordinator (RCFC) is to ensure the clinical accuracy of all SVCS clinical assessments and care plans for all residents in SVCS homes.
RCFCs must work closely with the home’s clinical and care team ensuring all documentation for admissions and existing resident care reviews (reclassifications) are conducted under an open, transparent, and systematic approach that appropriately balances and reflects the resident’s care needs, their choices, and the quality standards governing Residential Aged Care.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Accurately determine resident’s health issues, needs, and functional levels using a multidisciplinary approach with a consumer-centred focus.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure a person-centred focus for care services and appropriate funding levels in accordance with current clinical and functional levels.
- Evaluate the quality of clinical documentation and care planning against the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Support the timely completion of aged care assessments and care plans for new and existing residents.
- Monitor, document, and manage the gradual or acute increase in a resident’s clinical care needs and other significant clinical events.
- Support the accurate documentation and reporting in aged care business portals, such as Medicare (Services Australia), Aged Care Portal records (My Aged Care Portal), AN-ACC bookings, Sharepoint etc.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, leading a systematic approach to evidence-based practice in aged care.
- Mentor, educate and support the training needs of clinical and personal care teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical needs and changes align with SVCS policy and industry standards of care and funding.
- Support the documentation and timely reporting of regulatory and industry benchmarks such as Barthel Assessments, Cognitive Assessments and funding performance.
- Travel occasionally (when required) to meet consumers, care teams, and business support teams, fostering a culture of open communication and professional accountability.

- Significant knowledge of the AN-ACC funding model and how it contributes to contemporary residential aged care environments

What you'll be doing
The mental health AIN within MHDA Services supports person centre consumer health outcomes with a focus on recovery. The mental health AIN assists the nursing team in the provision of nursing care to mental health consumers within an acute care setting, through directed identified tasks and patient care activities under the direction of RN supporting the consumers recovery. The mental health AIN role supports the RN collecting of health care information, documenting, and communicating the information back to the RN within an identified Mental Health AIN Care Activities Map outlining the scope of practice.
The intention of the Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Service is to provide recovery-oriented, trauma informed services that are guided by evidence-based practice and collaboration, recognising each person’s unique journey of recovery in a way that fosters hope, purpose, and resilience.

About the Role
Join our team as a Patient Services Assistant (PSA) on a full time basis to work at Monash Children’s Hospital based in Clayton. - Holds a Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification in medicines administration, including intravenous therapy.

- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.

About the Role:
The Retrieval Registrar will work with an experienced Retrieval Paramedic or Nurse colleague to deliver high quality, patient focussed care to critically ill and injured adults and children. Responding by helicopter, rapid response road vehicle or turbo prop fixed wing aircraft. Approximately 80% of missions will be inter-hospital, with approximately 20% being pre-hospital cases.

About the Role:
The Simulation Education Fellowship is a combined clinical and teaching position, comprising 0.5 FTE in Simulation Based Education (SBE) within Adelaide Health Simulation at Adelaide University, and 0.5 FTE in your chosen specialty within Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN).
The simulation component will be undertaken at Adelaide Health Simulation (AHS), at Adelaide University. AHS is an accredited health care simulation facility with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and additionally holds ACEM Specialist Skills Post accreditation, including Training Stage 4.
For trainees in colleges other than ACEM, NALHN will work with Adelaide Health Simulation to accredit, where possible, time spent in this role with your college. Adelaide Health Simulation is the most technologically advanced simulation centre in Australasia, offering state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology to enhance medical training.
Registrars working in this role will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with simulation experts who specialise in multiple modalities of simulation education, including simulated patients, mechanical low and high-fidelity patient simulators, virtual reality-based medical training, and immersive simulators. In addition to honing practical teaching and simulation skills at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level, registrars will have the option to explore simulation-based research, curriculum design, and interdisciplinary training methods that promote collaboration between health professionals.
The centre's technologies enable realistic scenarios that help develop critical decision-making skills, improve communication in crisis situations, and reinforce both clinical knowledge and patient safety standards.
Working alongside experts in this field will not only enhance the registrars' hands-on clinical abilities but also provide them with a broader understanding of health education innovations and simulation-based education fundamentals including debrief techniques, formal feedback, remediation provision, and assessment.
Within NALHN, you will contribute to continuous quality improvement and education activities, as NALHN works to implement an organisation wide simulation program. NALHN will actively utilise the skills you develop with AHS to assist in developing and expanding its education programs. The NALHN 0.5FTE component of this role will be situated in your chosen specialty.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

Exciting Casual Opportunity: Community Support Worker
On the remote Eyre Peninsula, in the coastal community of Elliston, the work of a Community Support Worker carries real weight. At Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN), you'll be the person who helps someone stay in the home they love - offering practical support, genuine connection, and the kind of care that makes independence possible.
What You'll Be Doing
Working within EFNLHN's Consumer Directed Care model, you'll deliver support shaped by each client's own goals and preferences - because here, the person receiving care guides the plan. Shifts, duties, and frequency reflect the needs of the people you support, giving your work real purpose and variety.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility in a respectful and dignified manner
- Perform household tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and minor gardening
- Provide reliable transport to appointments and community outings
- Support social engagement and activities that contribute to client wellbeing
- At the WHD4 level, deliver personal care to clients with more complex support needs
What You'll Bring
- A warm, empathetic approach and the confidence to work independently in the community
- Sound communication skills and genuine respect for people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Experience supporting aged, frail, or disabled individuals
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, community-based team
- Familiarity with SA Health's approach to community care, or willingness to learn EFNLHN's Consumer Directed Care model
- For appointment at WHD4 level: Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or Home and Community)
