About the Position:The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible to provide safe, competent and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). On a day-to-day basis this position shall report to the Care Manager and General Manager. Indirect reports shall include other organisational management representatives.
Key Duties- Compile a comprehensive history from residents and/or family members to identify care needs by participating in resident admissions and ongoing assessments.
- Maintain a high level of documentation which accurately reflects care delivery.
- Develop, implement and regularly evaluate resident care plans as directed and assist with resident admission assessments.
- Assist with the direct clinical care of residents as required, which may include but not limited to personal hygiene, massage therapy, pain management and GP rounds.
- Administer medications to residents and assume responsibility for correct ordering, storage and documentation procedures in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Knowledge of the standards required by the government for the delivery of aged care.
- Strong clinical and documentation skills.
- An understanding of the aged care accreditation process.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.

The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care at Yallambee, McLean Care.
This is a full-time, onsite leadership role where your clinical expertise, compassion and ability to inspire others will directly influence the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.
You'll be a trusted leader on the floor - working alongside residents, families and care teams to ensure care is safe, responsive and genuinely tailored to each individual.
You'll mentor and empower your team, champion best practice and help create an environment where residents receive exceptional care and staff feel supported to do their best work.

About You
You're a confident and compassionate clinical leader who knows that great aged care starts with great people.

- A Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Registered Nurse)
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in residential aged care.
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act principles, documentation standards, residents' rights, funding instruments and relevant legislation.
- Well-developed clinical knowledge and contemporary nursing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build trust and engage effectively with residents, families and staff.
- A current National Police Certificate, or willingness and ability to obtain one.

About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our Riverside Gardens site. Based in Nambucca Heads, New South Wales.
This is a unique leadership opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving high-quality, compliant, and resident-focused care.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the home, ensuring safe, person-centred care in line with regulatory standards and organisational values. You will lead all aspects of operations, including clinical governance, workforce leadership, financial performance, and the overall resident experience.

As General Manager you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the home with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and person-centred care
- Drive a culture of clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and positive consumer outcomes
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to achieve high performance and foster a positive workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

You are an experienced as a General Manager or Residential Aged Care Manager, with a strong knowledge of aged care standards, compliance and clinical governance.
A proven ability to lead teams, improve performance and drive positive outcomes, sound financial and operational management capability as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
And importantly a genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians.

Tertiary qualification in Nursing (desirable)
Current AHPRA registration
