About the Role:This is a fixed term, part-time position until 29/08/2027 at 38 hours per fortnight (0.5 EFT). This role includes general nutrition outpatient clinic and home enteral nutrition. It is a predominately outpatient based workload although some inpatient work will be required. Experience managing paediatric patients with feeding and growth challenges and enteral feeding is essential as is the ability to work autonomously. Work days Monday-Wednesday. Alternating day negotiable.
Internally, this position will be known and/or referred to as:Dietitian (Grade 2).
Classification for this position is governed by Award 18 - Medical Scientists and will range from AJ1 (Grade 2, Year 1) - AJ4 (Grade 2, Year 4) depending on experience, from $94,478.80 to $106,906.80 full time equivalent per annum (pro-rata for part time), plus Superannuation.
Whatyou'llachieve:Deliver excellent evidence-based practice dietetic assessments and interventions for patients
Provide child centred, family focused care through partnership with parents/ families
Possess well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills and attention to detail with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient and department needs are addressed effectively
Participate in quality improvement and research projects
Deliver educational sessions to students, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals through lectures, workshops, and diverse learning formats
Your skills and experience:Meet the eligibility criteria for full membership of Dietitians Australia
Experience in clinical paediatric dietetics including enteral feeding and NDIS (minimum 2 years full time equivalent)
- Experience working in an acute hospital
The Department of Nutrition and Food Services incorporates the clinical dietetic service, the Main Kitchen that caters for inpatient meals and the Central Formula Room that produces formula, enteral feeds and fortifies expressed breast milk to meet the nutritional needs of patients.
Dietitians provide services to inpatient medical/specialty units and to specialist outpatient clinics and are available to consult on all aspects of infant and child nutrition including assessment, recommendations for nutritional management, implementation of therapeutic diets, enteral feeding and tube weaning within the hospital setting. We are a registered NDIS Nutrition service to provide disability-related nutrition supports to eligible patients. We also supporta large number offamilies on our Home Enteral Nutrition Program.

About the RoleThis is an ongoing Full-Time position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Environmental Service Attendant Project team.
- Monday to Friday: 6:30am - 3:00pm
As an Environmental Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment across both clinical and non clinical areas of the hospital. Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor, you will ensure that your practices adhere to Infection Control guidelines and the Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities.
In this role you will ensure that your work aligns with Infection Control guidelines and Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities. Your well developed written and verbal communication skills combined with your interpersonal skills will provide you with the ability to work within a team environment in varying locations throughout the hospital. Your customer focus and attention to detail will enable you to provide a high level service to patients, families and colleagues.
Classification for this position IN19 (FTE base salary $53,508 per annum, plus superannuation).

About the Role:
The Department of Gastroenterology and Clinical Nutrition is advertising 2.5 fixed-term vacant sessions to fulfil the role of a junior Consultant Gastroenterologist with expertise in paediatric gastroenterology. These sessions will be linked to outpatient duties (clinics) and will run from Monday 12/10/2026 to Friday 25/6/2027, inclusive. The Director of Gastroenterology will negotiate the details of the clinical sessions with the successful candidate.
You will provide clinical care to paediatric patients with a full range of gastroenterology conditions. You will contribute to the provision of outpatient services (both on-campus and telehealth). You will collaborate with other services within and outside the RCH to develop a more patient-centred, standardised and sustainable model of care. You will contribute to existing research in collaboration with the key campus partners of the University of Melbourne and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, with opportunities to initiate new research.
You will be responsible for:
- Establish and continue medical care of outpatients of RCH within the general remit of the department
- Attendance at outpatient clinic and endoscopy sessions as directed
- Clinical care of outpatient with gastroenterological, and liver disease
- Procedural responsibilities within the scope of practice including diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy
- Accurate and appropriate medical record keeping
- Time management and completion of administrative duties related to employment
Classification for this position will range from Specialist Yr1-Yr2 , under Award 31 (pro rata for part-time, plus superannuation).
Your Skills and Experience:
- Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP or eligible for FRACP)
- Fellowship training in Paediatric Gastroenterology is mandatory
- Demonstrated capacity to work harmoniously and collaboratively within a team environment
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRA
Key Selection Criteria:
- Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRA is required
- FRACP or equivalent or eligible for FRACP
- Postgraduate training and experience in paediatric gastroenterology
- Demonstrated experience in the care of patients with complex gastrointestinal diseases
- Training in Paediatric Gastrointestinal Endoscopy approved by the Conjoint Committee
- A research qualification, e.g., PhD, MD or Master's in Medicine, will be considered favourably (DESIRABLE)

The fractional position(s) will incorporate provision of care in outpatient clinics and to inpatients in the course of participation in ward service and after hours on-call. Skills in all aspects of paediatric nephrology are required, including all forms of renal replacement therapy, electrolyte disorders, hypertension, glomerulonephritis/ vasculitis, acute kidney injury, neonatal renal disease, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and renal transplantation.
The role involves a contribution to the maintenance of the department's high level of clinical care and quality, education and research. This includes supervision of junior medical staff and involvement in departmental multidisciplinary clinical meetings, comprising medical colleagues, senior nursing staff, allied health and administrative staff.
Classification for this position will be in accordance with AMA Victoria - Victoria Public Health Sector Medical Specialists Agreement .
You will be responsible for:- Ward and consultation service for patients with renal disorders including antenatal, general nephrology, dialysis (PD & HD), plasma exchange and renal transplantation. Participation in after-hours roster
- Clinical services in ambulatory care setting (including triage of referrals and supervision of trainees) and active participation in associated meetings
- Ad hoc discussions regarding management of renal patients
- Audit and appropriate quality assurance activities
- Ensuring appropriate documentation of all clinic episodes (face to face, meetings, telephone etc.) to meet good communication and medico-legal requirements
- Recognised expertise in clinical paediatric nephrology and renal transplantation
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality evidence-based clinical care in the context of a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to strengthen collaborative teamwork

This is a Full Time Fixed Term position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Parkville EMR Service contracted to 26th March 2027. You will be responsible for maintaining the education systems to support the business as usual function for the EMR. You will play an integral role leading the design and development of the EMR software upgrade impacts, quality and function of MST and educational materials including tip sheets, eLearnings and other materials that are generic to all four hospitals. You will be responsible for maintaining MST, which is the Epic training environment, which is integral to onboarding and ongoing education executed by Parkville hospitals.
Classification for this position will range from AO71 - AO75 (base salary $111,103.20 to $121,274.40 per annum, plus superannuation).
What You'll Achieve- Lead the MST and training environment strategy which will include maintenance and build, access and training in MST (Epic's Training environment)
- Develop and implement a customer driven process to identify EMR upgrade and enhancement impacts for end users
- Develop and maintain consistent, online learning resources to support onboarding and optimisation education in collaboration with Parkville health services. This may include tip sheets, eLearnings and supporting course materials
- Degree or higher in a relevant area or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and/or training
- Ability and experience in instructional, multimedia design and developing learning and teaching resources
