- The incumbent will be required to work in liaison with the onsite Specialist O&Gs to provide outpatient clinics and O&G services for theatre lists. The incumbent will also be required to work in liaison with the onsite Staff Specialist to provide on call services. The after-hours O&G on call will be supported by the Emergency Department medical staff. Full details of the rostering arrangements for the placement to be made available upon confirmation of availability.
- Applicants MUST HAVE ALL CPD evidence in line with the attached SA Health Policy Perinatal Emergency Education Strategy (PEES) Policy. Mandatory PEES requirements to support the incumbents Application for Credentials is advised as follows: Online FSEP and FSEP (at Level 3) attainment face to face (7 hour study day), Maternal Safety Education, Online Neonatal Life Support (NLS) and NLS skills (practical).
- Roster consists of a mixture of day shifts, 24-hour on-call periods, and rostered days off to cover a vacant 1.0 FTE position

About the Role
Seeking Perioperative Recovery experienced Registered Nurse classified at this level to provide nursing services within the Perioperative Services at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Employees working within this level developed from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice. They consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience. An employee at this level accepts accountability for his or her own standards of nursing/midwifery care and for activities delegated to others.

Experience within the Perioperative Recovery areas (minimum 3-4 yrs)

Join the future of regional GP training through the Single Employer Model (SEM)
The Single Employer Model (SEM) is being trialled throughout regional and rural South Australia with the aim of attracting and retaining more doctors in communities that need them.
Under the Commonwealth initiative, GP and rural generalist trainees are offered a contract with a regional Local Health Network (LHN) as a salaried employee potentially for the length of their training across primary care and hospital settings. This allows trainees to keep accrued SA Health Award entitlements.
About the Role
As a GP/RG Registrar (MDP2) in the SEM program, you will:
- Provide patient-centred care in both general practice and hospital settings under senior clinical supervision.
- Contribute to ED and general medicine care within the local hospital, upon negotiation and in line with training
- Engage in continuing education, training, and performance development activities.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Be employed directly by a regional LHN, enabling continuity, support, and rural workforce development.
Eligibility
- To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or equivalent).
- Be fully registered with AHPRA.
- Be accepted into (or applying to) ACRRM or RACGP.
- Be PGY3 or above at the time of commencement.
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated commitment to rural health and improving outcomes for regional communities.
- Ability to work across both primary care and hospital environments.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Competence in emergency and procedural skills.
- Understanding of Aboriginal health issues and rural health challenges in South Australia.

To be part of the SEM trial, submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the regional LHN you wish to work with. The EOI process opens mid-2026 for positions commencing in February 2027.

SA Health's Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking Registered Nurses and Midwives to join the Ceduna Multi-Purpose Service Casual Pool, with engagement available through to 30 June 2027.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of a small, close-knit clinical team at Ceduna MPS, you'll provide generalist nursing and/or midwifery care across acute, aged care, and emergency presentations. Working within a multi-purpose service model means genuine breadth in your day-to-day practice.
- Deliver safe, person-centred nursing and/or midwifery care across MPS service streams
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with varied and complex needs
- Collaborate with medical officers, allied health, and Aboriginal health practitioners to support holistic outcomes
- Contribute to a culturally safe environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families
What You Bring
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with AHPRA
- Experience in a generalist, rural, or remote clinical setting
- Confidence working with clinical autonomy and a broad patient cohort
- Sound understanding of culturally responsive care principles
- Current immunisation status meeting SA Health requirements
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of this engagement

Make a Meaningful Difference: Direct Care Worker (Stepdown Unit)
At the Ceduna Multi-Purpose Service, care is more than a job - it's a commitment to the people of the Eyre and Far North region. As a Residential Care Attendant in our Stepdown Unit, you'll play a meaningful role supporting residents during a critical transition as they move from acute care back toward independent living or long-term placement.
Your Role in the Stepdown Unit
Joining the Ceduna Casual Pool, you'll provide hands-on personal care and daily living support to residents in a small, close-knit environment. This is a casual position with an engagement period through to 30 June 2027. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering person-centred care to residents in the Stepdown Unit, assisting with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Supporting residents' physical and emotional wellbeing in line with individual care plans
- Collaborating with nursing and allied health staff to ensure safe, consistent handover and continuity of care
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with SA Health policies and the Eyre and Far North LHN standards
What You'll Bring
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or a related discipline (or equivalent demonstrated experience)
- Experience providing personal care in a residential, hospital, or community setting
- Understanding of or willingness to work within a stepdown or transitional care model
- Strong communication skills, with sensitivity to the needs of people from diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal communities
- Current First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- Availability and reliability to take up casual shifts as rostered across a 24/7 service
