About the role

This role will provide culturally responsive mental health care to Aboriginal children, adolescents, and families. Delivers assessment, advocacy, counselling, and cultural leadership. Collaborates with services, supports staff, and ensures culturally safe practice, accountability, and improved wellbeing outcomes.

Key duties of the role

• Provides culturally informed engagement, assessment and interventions for Aboriginal children, young people and their families who are experiencing social and emotional health difficulties

About the role

This role will provide culturally responsive mental health care to Aboriginal children, adolescents, and families. Delivers assessment, advocacy, counselling, and cultural leadership. Employees at this level provide nursing and midwifery services within Child and Family Health Service, developing from novice to proficient practitioners. As a Clinical Nurse in Community Health Nursing, you'll provide advanced nursing practices in primary healthcare, driving the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies and programs to achieve the optimal health outcomes for Community Health Nursing clients.
