About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive, integrated range of services designed to meet the needs of the local community through the Whyalla Healthy Ageing Team. Working within a multi-professional team, you will apply preventative, early intervention, treatment and evaluation approaches to support meaningful client outcomes. We encourage new graduates to apply!

At the AHP1 level, you will work under the direct supervision of a Regional Senior Occupational Therapist, building your clinical skills while contributing to service delivery. At the AHP2 level, you will apply your clinical experience and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate services with reduced direction, and may support the supervision of less experienced staff, assistants and students.

Based at Whyalla Hospital, our Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) Department provides personalised support for custom braces and artificial limbs. As the only O&P service located outside metropolitan South Australia, we proudly deliver care across regional centres including Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, and Port Pirie. We support clients during hospital stays in Whyalla and those attending appointments for rehabilitation and temporary prosthetic care. Step into a Senior Podiatrist role where your expertise and leadership will shape high-quality, community-focused services across the Flinders Upper North Regional Health Service and rural and remote South Australia. Living and Working in the Flinders and Upper North Region - Whyalla

About the Role:

As a Patient Services Administration Officer, you will provide an efficient, effective and high-quality administrative service within the Patient Services Department, supporting Visiting Specialists and the wider hospital. You will contribute to the delivery of an effective medical records service while also assisting with switchboard operations.

In this role, you will support internal and external communications across the hospital, including the use of paging and public address systems, monitoring alarms and emergency procedures, and managing the registration of inpatients, outpatients and day patients, including both elective and emergency admissions.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in the provision of a clerical/administrative support service, including the maintenance of records and systems.
• Demonstrated experience in office procedures and office equipment (i.e. photocopier, printers, facsimile, etc).
• Demonstrated experience in the use of computer-based resources (i.e. Microsoft Office, email, Excel, data entry).

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category B (indirect contact with blood or body substances)

Whyalla Hospital and Health Services is one of the largest regional hospitals in South Australia, offering 75 beds, including flex beds and a dedicated High Dependency Unit. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including emergency care, medical and surgical services, maternity, rehabilitation, mental health, and outpatient clinics. Our Cancer Resource Centre is among the largest in regional SA, featuring six chemotherapy chairs, outpatient care, and counselling services - helping patients receive vital treatment close to home. We are also proud to be one of only three regional stroke services in South Australia, delivering specialised stroke treatment 24/7 in partnership with metropolitan stroke units. About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing and/or midwifery services within a healthcare setting, supporting the delivery of safe and effective patient care. You will develop from a novice practitioner to a proficient level of professional practice, consolidating your knowledge and skills through continuous professional development and experience. In this role, you will be accountable for your own standards of nursing/midwifery care and for activities delegated to others, contributing to a high standard of care within the team.

About You:
