Assist the Executive Director Medical Services (EDMS) in the coordination, administration and evaluation of Agency wide aspects of Medical Services. The Team The Launceston General Hospital is an accredited 450 bed teaching hospital and is the major referral hospital for Tasmania's North and North-West. The hospital provides emergency and acute care, specialist services, inpatient and ambulatory care to Launceston and surrounding areas. Are you looking for something different, do you have a sense of adventure... General Practitioner required for a small island in the Eastern South Pacific ocean, close to the Gambier Islands of French Polynesia.
In your role you will serve as the sole GP responsible for general sickness/ illness to the island and it's 45 permanent residents as well as being confident to handle medical emergencies in a remote situation.
