Reporting to the Principal Land Management, this Brisbane-based role will support the strategic development and effective management of Stanmore's environmental offset portfolio, ensuring compliance with environmental obligations while delivering long-term ecological and business outcomes. The role includes significant travel to offset properties and operational sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of Stanmore's Offset Portfolio Strategy
• Managing environmental offset obligations, approvals and compliance requirements
• Coordinating land stewardship programs across offset properties
• Overseeing ecological monitoring and biodiversity programs
• Managing consultants, contractors, scopes of work and budgets
• Coordinating regulatory reporting and maintaining audit-ready records
• Contributing environmental expertise to land acquisition, due diligence and growth projects
• Working with internal GIS specialists to support spatial analysis and offset planning
• Building productive relationships with landholders, regulators, consultants and operational stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, Natural Resource Management or a related discipline
• At least 5 years' experience in environmental approvals, biodiversity management, environmental compliance or land management
• Demonstrated experience delivering biodiversity offset or conservation land management programs
• Strong knowledge of environmental approvals, management plans and compliance reporting
• Experience managing consultants, contractors, budgets and environmental programs
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A practical and proactive approach to problem solving
• The ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities.

• Experience with EPBC Act approvals and environmental offsets
• Knowledge of the Queensland Environmental Offsets Framework
• Experience within mining, resources, infrastructure or energy sectors
• GIS capability, including ArcGIS Pro
• Experience managing large-scale rural, grazing or conservation properties.

Stanmore Resources is seeking a Paramedic Emergency Services Officer to support on-site health and safety at the South Walker Creek mine in the Bowen Basin. The role operates on a 7 on / 7 off roster, with potential DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane.

Ideal applicants will have mine-site Paramedic/ESO experience, AHPRA registration, and current Rescue/Training qualifications, enabling rapid, coordinated emergency response and stakeholder engagement.
