About the RoleThe People & Culture Business Partners provide support to staff, managers and leaders in their allocated portfolio/s. This includes supporting all ER/IR matters for their division, coaching leaders and supporting the delivery of their divisional plans through P&C support. The priorities, and level of support required on various issues, may differ and fluctuate between teams. These roles would also be expected to navigate and lead through periods of industrial activity such as enterprise bargaining and protected industrial action for their relevant agreements covered (noting that majority of our EBAs are state collective agreements, so most of the time it would be acting as the CGH representative on reference groups and then leading an implementation committee)

Role The Mental Health Practitioners (MHP) initiative was announced by the Minister for Education in late 2018 to expand mental health and wellbeing support in government schools. The initiative provides for a suitably qualified mental health professional in all government secondary school campuses and specialist school (with secondary-aged enrolments) settings.
Operating in collaboration with the relevant Department of Education Regional Mental Health Branch, this role has the following functions:
- Enhancing mental health prevention and promotion activities in the school by contributing to whole-school health and wellbeing plans, building the capability of teaching staff and school leadership to address matters relating to student mental health and wellbeing, and helping to develop and deliver appropriate programs and strategies in the school according to specified school priorities

The Internal Medicine Service provides general medicine that also oversees gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology, perioperative and obstetric medicine. Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
The Northeast Health (NHW) Post Graduate midwifery program offers a courses in partnership with Latrobe University that suits the needs of currently practising Registered Nurses.The Post Graduate program is based on a work-integrated learning (WIL) model, where staff undertake a mixture of online study and face-to-face classes and tutorials, as well as receive guided supervision in the clinical environment. Rotations in this program may include birth suite, special care nursery, postnatal ward, midwifery group practice, antenatal, domicillary and lactation clinics. The program is designed to maximise your learning, clinically and theoretically, and enable you to confidently apply your knowledge to practice.
The program offers a one year contract and the opportunity to apply for ongoing employment as FTE allows.
