Role description

Heathcote Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team, delivering high-quality care across Acute, Urgent Care, and the Residential Aged Care Unit as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. This role reports to the Residential Aged Care Nurse Unit Manager (RACNUM) and plays a key part in ensuring safe, person-centred care and strong clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support, and direction to ensure optimal standards of patient, resident, and client care.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver clinical care on a shift-by-shift basis across Acute and Residential Aged Care settings.
• Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and maintained in accordance with organisational policy.

Join a purpose-driven team supporting individuals with complex needs to achieve stability, recovery, and positive change. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Case Manager to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to participants in the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP). You will provides case management support to individuals participating in the CISP program who present with a range of complex needs, including mental illness and/or cognitive impairment, alcohol and other substance use issues, homelessness, family violence, and/or limited social supports, to support recovery and stabilisation. This role also delivers relief support across courts within the Warrnambool Barwon South Western region. You will provide advanced, holistic case management, working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to develop and implement tailored support plans that promote recovery and reduce risk.

About You

Demonstrated experience or capability in case management of clients with complex needs, with strong knowledge and/or experience in at least one of the following areas: mental health, acquired brain injury, disability, alcohol and substance use, family violence, or homelessness (highly desirable).
Detailed knowledge of the mental health and/or disability service system, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

Excellent case formulation and written communication skills.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, social work or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering engaging clinical training to frontline operational staff, using sound knowledge of child and youth development, cultural safety and trauma-informed practice in Youth Justice or comparable settings.
• Experience exercising professional judgement to develop and adapt targeted learning interventions within departmental guidelines.
• Experience coaching and providing constructive feedback to frontline operational staff.
• Capacity to adapt facilitation style and content to diverse audiences and operational settings, and to manage delivery effectively across multiple locations.

ChCVThe Children's Court of Victoria (ChCV) is a specialist court that hears and determines cases in two divisions. The Family Division hears and determines cases involving the care and protection of Victorian children who are at risk of harm. The Criminal Division hears and determines the criminal charges brought against children between the ages of 10-17 years.

As a specialist and dedicated court, we are able to focus solely on responding to the particular needs and interests of children, young people and their families. This focus guides our approach to the delivery of judicial, dispute resolution, registry and support services, as well as the physical environment of our courts.

The ChCV expertly and fairly applies the law in cases involving children and young people. About the Role This is an exciting opporutnity with the commencement of full-time sittings for Children's Court of Victoria in Bendigo The In-Court Registrar is responsible for providing dedicated, quality judicial support to judicial officers. In-Court Registrars are required to perform administrative tasks, manage courtroom processes and provide in court support to Judicial Officers, assist with court user enquiries and have proactive file management to ensure a seamless and high quality service is provided.
