SESLHD covers urban and suburban communities and manages eight public hospitals and one public nursing home:

SESLHD also operates 28 Child and Family Health Centres, 12 Community Health Centres and nine Oral Health Clinics; providing prevention, early intervention and community-based treatment, palliative care and rehabilitation services.
Drug and Alcohol, Mental Health, Breast screening, HIV/AIDS, Public Health, Women's Health, Youth Health, Sexual Health, Imaging and Pathology services are provided at a number of facilities across SESLHD.
The primary location of this position may be varied as agreed with the Director of Clinical Services and as approved by MDAAC to other facilities in SESLHD.

Selection Criteria
- Registration or eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA). Candidate to provide on application AHPRA Registration Number.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for by the Health Insurance Act 1973 and the relevant Award/Determination.
- Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position.
- Proven capacity and/or experience in the provision of effective high quality service in the specialty, demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position including evidence of participation in quality improvement activities relevant to the specialty.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching with experience in teaching both undergraduate and post graduate students and other staff of the hospital.
- Demonstrate the skills and attitudes appropriate as a senior Medical Practitioner including modelling a high standard of professional behaviour to junior medical staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical and other health services colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and staff and to work as an effective member of the clinical team across multiple sites. Demonstrated commitment to provision of a high standard of clinical care in the public sector setting.
- Demonstrated experience in and commitment to research relevant to the role and needs of the Department.

About the Role
The Nurturing Connections: Caregiver-Child Relationship Service in an exciting new Program within the NSLHD Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service. It aims to improve outcomes for children and families through evidence-based assessment and intervention for caregivers and their infants and young children (pregnancy to age 4). The focus of intervention is on improving responsive caregiver-child relationships and the quality of family relationships; increasing strength, skills and competencies of caregivers and their children and improving caregiver capacity to manage mental health and psychosocial stressors.
Purpose of the Position
Provide clinical management and treatment of patients under your care in a Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) facility or service. This care will be provided within the scope of practice endorsed by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
The position will provide clinical consultation services within NSLHD and will contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates and other health care professionals and to research, evaluation and quality improvement activities within the District.
The Nurturing Connections: Caregiver-Child Relationship Service aims to improve outcomes for children and families through evidence-based assessment and intervention for caregivers and their infants and young children. The team will work with caregivers who are pregnant or caring for a child up to age 4. The focus of intervention is on improving responsive caregiver-child relationships and the quality of family relationships; increasing strength, skills and competencies of caregivers and their children and improving caregiver capacity to manage mental health and psychosocial stressors.
This is a new senior leadership role for an infant/child psychiatrist to join the NC team providing assessment, interventions and coordinated care for infants, children and their families/carers. The successful candidate will be primarily accountable for mental health services to infants and children under five years of age, and their families including parents experiencing non acute mental health difficulties.
The role includes collaboration with mental health clinicians; infant/child health clinician; peer worker and others within the NC service, clinical leadership through maintenance of service delivery, quality improvement activity directed towards increasing evidence-based practice and education, capacity-building and advocacy for infant/preschooler mental health.
This position is temporary with the possibility of temporary extension based on performance, funding and need
Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and/or overseas trained substantial specialist pathways, and Certificate of Advanced Training or Membership of the Faculty in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (RANZCP). Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 3 months may be considered.
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them
- Advanced knowledge about assessment and treatment of infant and child, mental health problems and caregiver-child relational difficulties consistent with the senior nature of the position
- Skills in managing complex mental health problems in infants/children and families in a multidisciplinary context and advanced skills in consultation at the individual, group and service level
- Willingness to be involved in academic activities (teaching and research) and experience in teaching psychiatry to medical, nursing and allied health students/staff, psychiatry trainees and others as required and a willingness for ongoing involvement in such activities
- Skills in negotiating with a wide range of people and organisations including working with, and engaging consumers and carers
- Familiarity with quality improvement processes
- Current unrestricted NSW drivers’ license and willingness to travel across the LHD

We are looking for a Staff Specialist in Andrology. The priimary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Andrology, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Andrology Department and Hospital as required.
The Staff Specialist will provide leadership and expertise in the management of male hypogonadism, fertility preservation (sperm cryostorage), infertility and transgender medicine, providing ambulatory clinical management and treatment for patients and families in the CRGH Andrology Department. They will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Endocrinology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Position is currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from the beginning of the 2026 Clinical Year on 2 February 2026, may be considered.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.

Ward 7B is a mixed medical/surgical ward where you will gain experience in peritoneal and haemodialysis, pre and post renal transplant care, complex wound management, and management of bladder irrigation and ileal conduits. The Ambulatory Care Centre is a dynamic and vibrant facility, housing over 40 outpatient specialty clinics, serving non-admitted patients. With an average of 600 patient presentations daily, we offer specialist consultations, minor procedures, and post-operative care in a state-of-the-art environment.
What you'll be doing
Medical Day Procedure Unit (MDPU) in Ambulatory Care is a district-wide service providing comprehensive infusion and day procedure services for non-admitted patients within NSLHD. The service provides complex infusions and procedure services to medical specialties and patients requiring infusions prior to major surgical procedures.
The service is a nurse-led clinic that plays a key role in the Emergency Department (ED) and hospital avoidance through rapid triage and acceptance of referrals for frail and vulnerable patient populations requiring frequent hospital admissions.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 will be responsible for patient care coordination, referrals triaging, capacity management, organising blood products and medication authorisation and sourcing high-cost pharmacy items. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient care and enhancing operational efficiency and patient experience.
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Division 1 Registered Nurse with post registration qualification relevant to speciality and at least 3 years experience working in the clinical area of their post graduate qualification.
- Evidence of and commitment to patient focused care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
- Evidence of advanced level of knowledge and skill related to management of speciality area.
- Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence-based practice and practice development.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, with an emphasis on service delivery, quality of care and team cohesion.
