What You'll Be DoingThe purpose of this position is performing Medical Imaging procedures to a high standard, and ensuring that the production of diagnostic imaging is made available to the clinician. Provide Medical Imaging to a high diagnostic quality, performing complex clinical procedure with a high degree of competency. The Sonographer will need to maintain safety in the unit and the specific techniques involved in a specialist area and maintain current knowledge of all advanced ultrasound practices.
The Senior Sonographer Will- be responsible for keeping accurate records and providing evidence for the submission of DIAS and NSQHS accreditation.
- evaluate and audit work quality, manage staff performance and appraisals, accelerate performance concerns as needed, and allocate staff to ensure service coverage.
- complete all mandatory training and participate in development activities as required by management, while actively developing and pursuing ongoing self-improvement in collaboration with leadership
- establish clinical protocols, support Continuous Quality Improvement, and liaise with Field Engineers, Application Specialists, and sales teams regarding equipment purchases, installations, software, and servicing, order equipment and consumables as needed, ensure timely exam flow, and elevated delays when necessary
- support the aims of the organisation's safety management system to establish and foster a positive health and safety culture.

- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the establishment of clinical protocols, manuals, quality assurance and departmental Continuous Quality Improvement activities. Ability to perform complex clinical procedures within specialist modality with a high degree of competency and the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team, including ability to work within scope of practice and elevate as required.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills with ability to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, lead change and accept responsibility; including a high-level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a strong customer service approach and ability to exercise judgement when managing or escalating complex cases.

Responsibilities include the efficient distribution of medicines throughout the facility, the management of the Pharmacy Stores staff and a light clinical or operational role as requested by the Director of Pharmacy which may including supporting PBS claim and Medicare activities. What You'll Be DoingThe RHW Postnatal Services include the areas of Postnatal inpatient services, Midwifery Support Program and Lactation Services. The Midwifery Unit Manager 1 (MUM) is a clinical MUM co-ordinator role and provides clinical leadership and day to day coordination of the Postnatal Services at the Royal Hospital for Women (RHW) in collaboration with the MUM 3 who has overall management responsibility for Postnatal Services.
The MUM 1 is responsible for the daily clinical co-ordination and, the allocation of women admitted to the Postnatal Unit. The MUM 1 assists the MUM 3 to lead, plan and evaluate the service. The MUM 1 will work collaboratively with the MUM 3 to effectively manage resources and ensure optimal outcomes for women and babies by promoting best practice through support, allocation and supervision of staff on a day to day basis.
The MUM 1, in partnership with the MUM 3 participates in the recruitment and performance development of staff and functions within the policies and procedures of the NSW Ministry of Health, SESLHD, RHW and the Maternity Division.

About the Role
Drug Health Services (DHS) aim to reduce the harms associated with substance use for individuals, families and communities and to prevent drug misuse. The Programs and Community Engagement Manager assists Drug Health Services Executive team to meet targets relating to community and staff engagement strategies, health promotion and management of contentious issues related to Drug Health across Sydney Local Health District. A key role of the position is to develop and lead a community strategy to address drug and alcohol harms and public amenity issues, and to develop and lead a staff engagement strategy to promote and support workplace culture. Purpose of the PositionThe position of Staff Specialist Northern Beaches Community Mental Health Services, works within a multi-disciplinary team using a recovery orientated approach to support the timely clinical assessment, review, management, treatment and discharge planning to support the delivery of a high quality, safe, and evidence based mental health services for adult and older people residing in the Northern Beaches local government area.
You will provide clinical management and treatment of patients under your care in a Northern Sydney Local Health District facility or service. This care will be provided within the scope of clinical practice endorsed by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.
The position will provide clinical consultation services within NSLHD and will contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates and other health care professionals and to research, evaluation and quality improvement activities within NSLHD.
Selection Criteria- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and/or overseas trained substantial specialist pathways. Applicants expecting to be awarded their FRANZCP within 3 months may be considered.

Where you'll be workingNorthern Sydney Local Health District
What you'll be doingProvide specialist assessments, evidence based psychological interventions and case management within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Work collaboratively with young people, families and services to deliver person centered, trauma informed and recovery focused care.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist and must have a minimum postgraduate masters in Clinical Psychology.
- Demonstrated experience and advanced clinical expertise and knowledge in comprehensive psychosocial assessments, counselling and therapeutic interventions, complex clinical casework, advocacy and discharge planning.
- Demonstrated well developed skills in written and verbal communication, computer literacy, time management, prioritisation, negotiation and advocacy.
This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. The full list of requirements are outlined in the NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 11). You will be required to complete the OASV Undertaking/ Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process.
