The Community Maternity Services - Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) will work collaboratively with midwives and the relevant multidisciplinary team in providing holistic woman centred care, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients through the promotion of best practice. The Community Maternity Services - MUM will effectively and efficiently manage allocated, financial, human and physical resources for community midwifery services including midwifery continuity models of care, midwifery support program and antenatal clinic.
The purpose of the Midwifery Unit Manager role is to:
- lead, direct and co-ordinate women-centred care;
- ensure the practice of midwifery is safe and efficient, maintaining standards of care through continual quality improvement initiatives
- lead and co-ordinate the midwifery and multi-disciplinary care team at the ward or unit level, and
- monitor the business and management functions and processes of the ward or unit provide strategic, operational and financial responsibility for Community Maternity Services

The Role
The Neonatal Division Nursing Co-Director (along with the Medical Co-Director) is jointly responsible and accountable for achieving the day to day operational management of the Neonatal Division. These will be achieved in accordance with the policies of NSW Health, SESLHD, RHW, and other relevant legislative and statutory bodies. The Co-Directors will provide vision and leadership in the Division and will foster excellence in the delivery of clinical services, corporate responsibilities, and in teaching and research. The Co-Directors will together direct the day to day clinical and corporate activities of the Division consistent with Hospital objectives through a structure that facilitates participatory management with department heads and senior managers, decentralisation of decision-making, and teamwork in the provision of clinical services. The Co-Directors will be required to represent and promote the hospital through participation on committees and professional bodies as required. This role represents a collaborative partnership with the Medical Clinical Co-Directors. Whilst the Neonatal Division Medical and Nursing Clinical Co-Directors have different time commitments to the co-directorship, both Co-Directors are jointly accountable for forming a partnership to plan, co-ordinate and deliver the clinical services of the Division.

Selection Criteria:
- Current Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)

Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Director of Child and Adolescent Mental Health to join our Mental Health Services team.
The Director Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service SLHD holds responsibility as the medical leader and manager of the clinical services, medical staff and training, research and quality programs and other functions relevant to the Service. The Director will work within the SLHD Mental Health Executive to ensure activities within the Service align to broader SLHD objectives.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service provides specialist mental health services to children and adolescents from 5-18 years of age and their families. These services are provided at outpatient clinics and in community settings. The Rivendell Adolescent Unit provides hospital-based care for adolescents in school years 7-12 in collaboration with the NSW Department of Education. Walker Unit at Concord Centre for Mental Health is a NSW-wide specialist adolescent unit for young people with a history of multiple or prolonged mental health unit admissions. Non-admitted services are provided by Community Adolescent Outreach Services at Camperdown and Canterbury Community Health Centres, and the Safeguards team and outpatient services at Rivendell.
The Director Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service will work in collaboration with medical nursing and allied health colleagues to promote evidence-based practice and innovation for excellence in care and continuous improvement. The Director will also manage clinical quality, critical incidents and complaints, financial management and performance of the service and operation of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service facilities. In addition to their Director role, they will provide clinical management of patients as part of the senior medical workforce and within their approved scope of clinical practice.
As clinical leader, they will enhance clinical engagement and professional practice and standards, as well as a culture of respect for the individual, teamwork and continuous performance improvement.
The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist (RANZCP) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Salaryand conditions are in accordance withthe NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

About the Role

About The Opportunity Oral Health Services is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Officer Level 2 to join our team at Liverpool Oral Health Clinic.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality, patient-centred dental care across a diverse and growing community. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you will deliver comprehensive oral health services to eligible patients while supporting the District's commitment to improving oral health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
As a Dental Officer Level 2, you will exercise independent professional judgement and provide a broad range of preventive, restorative and emergency dental treatments. You will regularly diagnose and manage varying levels of dental disease and oral health conditions, including patients presenting with more complex clinical needs.
An eligibility list may be created from this recruitment process and used to fill future permanent and temporary Dental Officer Level 2 vacancies within Oral Health Services for up to 12 months.

What You'll be doing Working with a high degree of professional autonomy, you will assess, diagnose, treatment plan and manage a broad range of oral health conditions, including patients presenting with more complex dental needs. You will deliver preventive, restorative and emergency dental care and work collaboratively with oral health therapists, dental assistants, specialists and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, participating in quality improvement and clinical governance activities, and contributing to a culture of safe, patient-centred care and continuous service improvement.
Where You'll Be Working SWSLHD Oral Health Services provide essential dental care to eligible residents across South Western Sydney.
Covering the local government areas of Bankstown, Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Wingecarribee, and Wollondilly, these services include general dental care, emergency dental treatment, and specialised programs for children and vulnerable populations.

- Unrestricted registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a minimum of 2 years clinical experience post Board registration.
- Demonstrated ability to provide competent general practitioner dentistry for patients of all age groups including dental health problems of greater than usual difficulty and able to exercise independent professional judgment on routine matters.
- Proficiency in minor oral surgery, denture prosthetics, endodontics and management of medically compromised patients.
- Demonstrated sound clinical and diagnostic skills. Experience in management of patient with chronic medical conditions and needs. Commitment to the principles of public sector dentistry and sound evidence-based dental practice.
- Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work as a contributing member of a clinical team.
- An understanding of current concepts in clinical practice and demonstrated understanding of infection control principles.
- Demonstrated experience providing a customer focused service to ensure excellence in patient care

What you'll be doing
Provide a high-quality medical imaging service across a range of clinical situations to BreastScreen patients across SESLHD and Illawarra. The aim is to support the provision of optimal patient health outcomes, using current medical imaging safety standards. To demonstrate independent and appropriate professional knowledge and judgement and exhibit or acquire competency in all appropriate clinical, diagnostic and managerial tasks.
