About the Role:

The Royal Children's Hospital is seeking self motivated, dynamic Registered Nurses to work in Anaesthetics. The purpose of this role is to provide skilled assistance to medical staff for the safe administration of anaesthesia or sedation as specified in document PS (ANZCA) - Recommendations on the Assistant for the Anaesthetist and to provide post anaesthetic care to our paediatric patients.

The role

Position Summary

Adopting Epic's Genomics solution is a key priority for the Parkville Health Services and is universally recognised as a core foundation in improving the availability of discrete genomic data by providing an interface between the Parkville EMR and key laboratories for accurate and timely reporting of genomic information, resulting in optimisation of genomic-based clinical decision making and informing patient care through the availability of personalised, genomic-informed care, treatment and management options.

Paediatric Oncologist - Sabbatical Cover (Liquids/ BMT)

This is a fixed-term, part time position at 1.0 FTE to cover sabbatical Leave cover until 5 February 2027 within the Children's Cancer Centre.

You will be responsible for:

Providing expertise and oversight of the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical care for children with cancer diagnoses, and their families.
You will deliver strong and supportive supervision of trainee and junior medical staff, and contribute to the education and research programs of the Children's Cancer Centre.

About the Role:

The Senior Mental Health Clinician role is a part-time, Fixed Term position to cover a secondment until June 2027 at 45.6 hours per fortnight/0.6 EFT, working within the Emergency Mental Health Department. We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Clinician who can cover night shifts (19:30 - 06:00).

This position will be responsible for working collaboratively with Emergency Department staff in managing mental health presentations, providing support to families and carers, liaising with emergency services, contributing to research and evaluation activities, and facilitating mental health promotion and education.

Classification for this position will range from:

• Grade 4 Registered Psychiatric Nurse (NP75-77)
• Occupational Therapist Grade 4 Year 1 - Year 4 (HR9-HR12)

Nursing - skills and experience:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• A postgraduate diploma in psychiatric/mental health nursing or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program or a specialist post basic course of training which led to registration as a Division 3 Nurse
• Relevant clinical experience

• Proven capacity for clinical leadership in a team environment and ability to work as a senior team member

• Minimum 5 years' relevant postgraduate clinical mental health experience

• Hold a degree in Social Work from an accredited course/university
